The food is sooo good. They remodeled and it feels so much better! Sushi was well presented and tasted so good too!

What a great place to try sushi for the 1ST time. They have a nice atmosphere and the sushi looked amazing. I was not expecting to enjoy it but I did. I would have given 5 stars but my appetizer didn't come out until the sushi was all gone. Ended up taking it to go. Other than that enjoyed every minute of it. Look forward to my next visit.

Great experience always! Prob one of the best sushi’s in Spokane. We come here for the Big Unit roll (it’s the titanic size one) It’s defiantly a shareable size! But hey if you can finish it alone, props to you! I loved the Princess Liaj roll. My new favorite. The service is great as well. We like to change some things on our orders to customise it to our liking and they are very accommodating to our requests. We defiantly recommend you try them out!

I eat here all the time and actually live in the building. The girl with the blue hair who took my order was polite. And the staff are normally great. They had an Asian lady who accused me of stealing though, not even asking if I ordered, after finding out I ordered they forgot my meal, and messed it up with what they gave me. The Asian lady said “woah! A $5 dollar tip” and laughed at it, even after messing up my order. I eat here and tip all the time, why would I leave a hefty tip especially after poor service. Then the young girl with the long black hair and her laughed and mocked the way I left, not knowing I lived next door and could see her Ré-enacting everything I did in front of me through the side door connected to the building. Nice try, you were caught. Then lie and say Bryan wasn’t working and I saw him after leaving to go upstairs. Then after asking for spicy Mayo, instead of making new ones they put barely any on my cold soggy roles. The flame however was amazing, and even though you forgot the missing chicken strips they were still hot after being left on the counter.

This place has amazing food and good service. Adding the sports bar theme kind of sucks it was way better before. Trying to mix sushi and a sports bar is a bad idea. It still has amazing food so I give it 4 stars. I wish the tv’s and the football would go away.

We gor take out from The Wave this evening (02/07/2022) and ordered the reverse, kamikazi, da bomb, and the ralston rolls and the grilled teriyaki salmon with mac salad. Everything was absolutely exceptional. Great tasting, great portions. Totally and 100% worth every penny. The only teeny thing my partner did not love was the wasabi. Otherwise absolutely fantastic and highly recommended!!

This Sushi restaurant has great, tasty sushi that is priced reasonably. I shared a few rolls with others and I was not disappointed, they had great amounts of fish on them and they tasted high quality. I recommend the two pound roll as it will easily fill someone up for a great price.

Date night. We enjoyed the selection of sushi, nigiri and Sashimi. Menu items were labeled as GF and V (vegan), which helped when selecting items. The walls had local artists and their bios. Laid back atmosphere and great prices.

Haven’t been to the wave since they renovated a while back….sure did miss this place and with good reason!! The food was as good as I remembered it to be. So fresh and beautifully displayed. I don’t remember all the roles we got but the caterpillar and spider rolls were my favorite 🙂 The katsu was pretty phenomenal as well!! He calamari was to die for but the kids devoured it before I had a chance to take a photo haha!

This is our go-to date night dinner spot. Food is quality and prices are fair. There is a main bar in the middle that is lit up and keeps the atmosphere lively. They have a wide variety of sushi rolls so plenty to choose from. The fish is fresh and never questionable. I had a few questions about the different sauces they offer and our server Christian was happy to answer. We've gotten Christian once before and he is always exceptional! He never makes us feel rushed and is very attentive, but not overbearing. This visit we tried the chicken wings plain with "smitty" sauce (creamy sweet chili sauce) on the side. I was happily surprised that the drumsticks were huge thick boys haha. The chicken tenders and fries were crispy, hot, and fresh. I got the firecracker sushi roll and it was spicy and flavorful. I love the american/asian options. Sometimes you want some fries AND sushi! We also enjoy the cheesecake sushi roll. Just a fun option you can't find anywhere else.

The sushi here is absolutely incredible! So fresh and truly delicious, this is your destination for sushi in Spokane! We loved how creative and unique their menu was - we were able to try a few different types of rolls than we'd ever had before. Their teriyaki chicken was tender and mouthwatering, and we thought their prices were very affordable for what you get! Their boba tea was balanced and delicious and we had incredible service from Leo. Perfect for lunch or date night, we will absolutely be coming back!

Yum! So good! My 13 year old son and I went for sushi and each ordered a different roll..then shared. We really like sushi, so we should have ordered 2 each. But we also shared an appetizer and got Boba drinks to go.

Excellent food and great atmosphere in this restaurant. The parking downtown sucks, but the 2lb Big Island Sushi Roll is worth it. They have great options of tempura rolls, nigiri and sashimi rolls. I recommend it

The renovations are really nice and help make the restaurant feel as upscale as the food has always been. The quality is still great! But the price definitely reflects that. We spent well over $100 after tip for a shared meal, shared appetizer, shared sushi roll, and individual sakes. It's been a while since I've been here, but I don't remember it being this expensive. I was a bit taken aback by the bill even though I wasn't expecting a cheap meal by any means. Very good food though and we'll definitely back... however, it'll be a bit more of an occasion rather than just a weeknight dinner. There's a lot more here that I want to try. It's one of the most eclectic menus I've ever seen and I've yet to have anything that wasn't great in my few visits in the last 5 or so years. Also, the live music was really nice, but it was a tad bit loud to have a real conversation without raising your voice quite a bit. I wouldn't expect that to be a consistent thing though.

Good for a short stop. I'll need to be back to try their sushi. Their version of calamari was pretty good.

Best customer service! Their customer service is 5 star rate! But the table was a bit dirty which I changed my chair and it got fixed and the sushi role was good!

Delicious and Huge Sushi Rolls 🍣 great menu with a lot to choose from. We got the "Big Unit" roll and let me tell you that was best sushi I've ever had. You have to try this place out if you haven't been yet. I know we'll be back soon for more 😋

My wife and I wanted to find a sushi bar to frequent for our evenings out. Called to make a reservation- thus confirming they close at 9pm. Asked for a 8pm reservation for a party of 2. I understand, it’s pushing the envelope regarding the time to be respectful for the kitchen/staff but having experience within the restaurant industry, this is not a far off request either. The staff member on the receiving end informed me that since they close at 9pm, the “latest” (quote end quote) they will seat anyone is 7pm. Respectfully, then I even asked for 7:30pm reservation and he quickly told me “no” - even though 7:30pm is available, the “latest” they can seat ANYONE is 7pm. Understandably if this was going to be a large party; then I could respect this logic but for a party of 2, made no sense why it was their “policy” to seat a two top party at least 2 HOURS prior to closing? Even with a 8pm reservation, our entrees would be ordered before the kitchen closes and yes (maybe) our server would be late by give or take 15 minutes past their 9pm closing. Theoretically, allowing a party of two 60-75 minutes to have a meal is doable and reasonable. Regardless, it was evident, they didn’t want to even attempt to accommodate anything outside the bare minimum that (might) inconvenience themselves. With that brief call, If that is a preview of their customer relations, I’m hesitant to see how the whole experience would be and I’m not willing to journey down that road that find out! NOTE: Within minutes after that dismissal phone call from the WAVE staff, we found another sushi bar (also closes at 9pm) and they HAPPILY took our 8pm reservation. The moral - there is many other amazing sushi bars out there with superb customer service; no need to subject yourself to mediocre service. So long WAVE!

They recently remodeled and the restaurant looks great! There are many items to choose from and the sushi selection is wonderful. They have a large variety of sake and beer selections, including wines. Staff is friendly and treat you like family. Kids are welcome and they have a kid's menu.

great food, giant menu. pretty good vegan selection, the curry is a great hot option for vegan folk! the vegan roll is a pretty typical example of vegan sushi, but they do giant servings. really nice place if you can handle loud ambiance.

Great place to have fresh sushi. It stays very busy and they crank out the rolls. So you know everything you're getting is pretty fresh. Everything we've had there has been tasty. Since they've remodeled it's much bigger on the inside and open. They have TVs at the bar as well so if you need to watch a game, you can.

I have had sushi here twice now, and it is one of only two sushi restaurants in the area I will eat at (small town). I will eat just about any type of sushi (tempura, raw, veggies, variety of meats and fish). The food always tastes fresh, and both times we visited the wait was very reasonable.
