In
Spokane
for
a
3-day
basketball
tourney,
we
choose
this
hotel
primarily
for
its
location
and
dog
friendly
rooms.
The
hotel
was
easy
to
find,
quick
and
easy
check
in,
and
served
its
purpose.
We
loved
being
able
to
walk
right
out
of
our
room
to
walk
the
park
and
trail.
Probably
wouldn't
stay
here
if
you're
looking
to
enjoy
the
amenities
and
vacation
though,
definitely
an
old
hotel
they
slapped
lipstick
on
and
called
it
good.
The
room
was
dusty,
decor
is
somewhat
modern
but
windows/
sliding
doors
are
single
pane
and
old.
The
sliding
door
was
difficult
to
open
and
close
with
the
frequency
we
were
taking
the
dog
out.
It
was
snowing
then
sunny,
so
the
temp
in
the
room
was
difficult
to
regulate
and
the
air
system
seemed
unusually
loud.
The
east
side
lawn
has
a
lot
of
foot
traffic
being
on
the
trail
which
was
fine,
except
for
at
night
when
it
became
unsafe.
We
witnessed
groups
of
"locals"
on
foot
and
bicycle
accessing
the
parking
lot
from
the
trail
to
prowl
every
night.
Although
the
parking
lot
is
gated,
its
still
accessible
and
we
definitely
saw
broken
glass
from
a
previous
break
in.
The
room
did
its
job
though,
nothing
luxurious
or
extraordinary
about
it.
We
didn't
get
to
eat
at
the
restaurant,
we
attempted
to
get
a
late
breakfast/early
lunch
on
Sunday
and
were
told
they
were
closed
only
offering
a
buffet
breakfast
which
was
fruit,
juices,
small
muffins,
and
scrambled
eggs
for
$18
-
not
worth
it.
The
coffee
stand
in
the
lobby
was
reasonable
and
a
better
deal
for
what
you
get.
We
prepaid
for
our
room
and
did
notice
the
$100
difference
in
final
price
than
how
it
was
being
advertised.
Aside
from
the
additional
$50
+
tax
fee
for
the
dog,
there
weren't
unexpected
charges
at
check
out.
