Looff Carrousel and Gift Shop

Tourist attraction

👍 It isn't the best carousel I've ridden, but they had a unique spin on the way you go about it with a fun mini game. I recommend giving it a go if you haven't already. The community seems rather engaged, and the city is still growing despite the hardships of the pandemic. About 10 minutes of waiting... People often mention ride, carousel, horses, beautiful, great, child, kids,

It isn't the best carousel I've ridden, but they had a unique spin on the way you go about it with a fun mini game. I recommend giving it a go if you haven't already. The community seems rather engaged, and the city is still growing despite the hardships of the pandemic. About 10 minutes of waiting and another 7 minutes of enjoyment. It was a good time. This is not a part of the carousel, but the skyride is rather disappointing.

Coolest carousel I've ever seen. It's huge, it's beautiful, and it goes pretty darn fast. My oldest daughter went on it like, 9 times. Seven bucks for unlimited rides is a really, really good deal too, otherwise it's three dollars for each ride. Totally recommend stopping by.

💰$2.50 usd or $5.00 for unlimited pass. Hand carved in 1909 by Charles Looff as a gift for his daughter, it contains 54 horses, 1 giraffe, 1 tiger and 2 chariot benches. The horses themselves, have two seperate sides; a romance side and a money side (the side you mount the horse.) Although in storage from 1967 – 1975, it was then rehoused in 2014 to ensure preservation of the wood carvings. It receives around 300,000 visitors yearly. to

Some of my most cherished memories were on the Carousel at the Natatoriun Amusement Park. I am so grateful that it was totally restored. My wife and I were visiting relatives in Spokane and we had an opportunity to ride it. It is BEAUTIFUL!

Have been coming here since I went to college way too many years ago. It is still a beautiful Carousel and I was happy to finally bring the grandkids. It's in a great location in the park and the staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable

The ride used to go for about 5 minutes. Now, it's about 2 minutes. If you've got little ones, buy the unlimited ride bracelet for them. It's about the cost of 2 rides. I took my granddaughter's last weekend. I lost count at 15 rides.

Was my first time here and the carousel was really fun you even had a few chances to grab little hoops while you're spinning on the carousel and try to score in this whole in the board. After we went to the treats and tickets where a worker name Jack was really nice and accommodating and made sure our drinks and food was to how we liked it.

I don't remember how much it cost to ride, I had out of state visitors and we planned to go ride so we did.

Four stars only because the new buildings surrounding the carousel is enclosed... When the building was able to open around the sitting area was the greatest while I watched my daughter ride the beautiful horses!

Carosel is beautiful, $3.7? Something to ride for a child, there is an adult cost for riders but i do not believe there is one to stand there and accompany a child. There is a little white elephant you ride for $0.10 in the hallway, donated to the carousel. Souvenirs avalible too. Penny crusher was out of order when we went unfortunately and we called them every where we go so that was sad.

Amazing and a 'Must See / Must Do' activity. Everyone that was there seemed to enjoy the ride. Even the babies that didn't think it was all that great were smiling before the ride was over. Oh and to see young and old simply glow with delight was wonderful. For some it brought back memories and others it was creating brand new memories. I had a fantastic time with my children and grand children, wow!

This is a must-see stop when visiting Riverfront Park. The gift shop is always packed and has lovely items that represent Spokane in the local area. The carousel itself is absolutely breathtaking it's an inexpensive activity for kids and adults alike. In years past we have also used the venue for a birthday party there are rooms available for rent.

Love the Carrousel! Brings out the inner kid in you, rather have kids or not! Staff has always been nice! They finally sat back up the Trash Goat! You get to throw rings into his bucket as you ride. Super fun. Love stopping here when in the area!

What a great family friendly place! It doesn't matter if you are young, old or in between this a must to visit when you are in Spokane! We took my Mom who is getting up there in age and she loved it! She had to ride the Carousel! She wanted to ride the White horse 🐴 one of the ones that went up & down. So we helped her on strapped her in and of she went! She had a blast! Trust me there were kids of every age! Head on down and have a great day at the beach park! You will not be disappointed!

Just like I remember. So awesome to take my kids on the same beautiful carousel I rode as a child, and my mother rode as a child and my grandmother rode as a child!

We only had time for a quick visit. Cute little shop. Riding the carousel was a unique experience. Hang on! It goes fast!

Each employee was extremely professional and friendly, the ride was enjoyable and was a great experience for all ages and the location was perfect! I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area. The gift shop has a good variety of items for purchase and while waiting or watching the carrousel ride you’re able to purchase delicious snacks and drinks from there. They also have a pressed penny machine!

I enjoyed riding the carousel with my son. It actually went a little faster than I had expected. I suggest riding on an outer seat to participate in the ring toss to the "garbage goat" on the other side. I was told if you get a golden ring you get to ride again.

Had a blast. Went on a Fri morning with my young child. We both got day passes ($7 each) and rode for nearly an hour. Staff was kind and personable. No crowd. Got good hot chocolate there, too, and took advantage of the photo booth. Will go again.

I would like you better if just once, I could get what resembles the brass ring. My mother's always spoke of being a little girl, riding the carousel and trying to grab the brass ring. If you got it, it meant a free ride. At first I did not like all of the changes to the park, and they "fancied" up the carousel. I still don't like all of the added cement. What made this park special was the calmness and it's beauty. I was doubtful about going to the carousel after seeing all of the park changes. So happy that even though the outside looks modern, the carousel still has the same charm it always has. I will miss riding the horses with my grandchildren

My 3 year old daughter is obsessed with horses and watching her on the carousel she acts like they are real❤❤❤❤❤I just love it. Great attraction for kids of all ages

A beautiful carrousel hang on it does go faster than expected. It only cost $3.00 for a single ride or $7.00 for all day. Took my small grandchildren and they loved it we went on it many of times that day. If you go on the outside horses you can play the game to try to get the brass ring for a free ride. All the other colored rings you toss at the garbage goat as you go around.
