We were the only table dining-in on a Tuesday evening (party of three!). The guy only came to our table with drinks, to take food order, and bring out the food. We constantly had to shout across the restaurant to get his attention to bring us plates, napkins, and water! Then he automatically charged us 21% in gratuity with only party of three!!! When I asked him about it, his response was “oh, I didn’t know. Let me take it off”. So BE CAREFUL! Once again, great food but check your bill for gratuity charged based on the service you were provided. See the pictures for food items highly recommended!

We celebrated my husband's birthday by eating here for our first time. Everything was delicious. The crispy pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, bourbon chicken, oolong tea, all of it was tasty. Served kindly with a backdrop of fresh flowers and James Taylor on the record player. Lovely!

Pad Thai is beyond my expectations. Tasted so good, you would want to keep coming back. Came in for lunch and got their spring rolls and shrimp pad thai. Cozy dining area. I ordered to go here before and it was ready faster than most other take out places. I have tried their Mango sticky rice as a dessert before but did not get a chance to try during this visit as I was very full. Would bring my entire family next time!

Excellent service and food. Excellent taste, Good price, great desert. I am vegetarian and they have a lot options for us. The restaurant is beautiful. Parking free. I recommend to anybody. My wife love it.

Got lunch there with a few friends. The food was good and the prices were decent. The service was also very fast. Only reason why I didn't give more stars is because the duck was very dry, like it was 2 days old. Other then that, it was a pleasant experience.

I'm really torn. I debated on whether to give this restaurant three or four stars, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. The food is delicious, that isn't the issue. It's so flavorful and authentic. I'm also very picky about broths and theirs is delicious. Still, there were a few things about my experience that sparked concern. First of all, we waited for our food for such a long time! I'm talking at least 30 minutes. It was to the point where we were about to complain. Second, they did not bring our food out at the same time. There were three of us dining and there was a good 15 minute gap between each dish being served. Third, the service in general wasn't great. Our waitress never really checked in on us and it's not like the place was busy, so she could have tried harder. Finally, AND THIS IS IMPORTANT: Go easy with the spice! They follow a spice scale of 1-4, and as someone who loves spicy foods, I elected for a three. My noodle soup was at the absolute peak of my spice threshold. A four would be inedible. If you don't like spice or are on the fence, choose a one or if you're feeling brave, a two.

Great choice for a wide variety of Thai favorites, along with some yummy, reasonably priced surprises. Give them a try for dine in or take out!!

Had a lovely lunch with my daughter. She had chicken pad Thai and I had shrimp basil fried rice. Both were delicious, service was excellent and prices good. Great local option vs driving downtown.

horribly rude customer service. Old guy with the ponytail was extremely disrespectful. He constantly forgets items and hastily prepares the food leaving imperfection. Do not order to-go from here. Their bags ALWAYS rip and he can't even package the food completely, causing it to spill out in the bag and leave a ridiculous amount of food gone to waste. They are only out for a quick buck and don't care about to-go customers, let alone customers in general. AVOID this restaurant. There are MANY Better options nearby that are well worth your time. Just don't buy from here.

Got the spicy pad Thai delivered. First I was upset because they didn't include utensils or napkins. But when I started eating I was blown away with the flavor. Amazing food. Keep up the good work and don't forget utensils in takeout/deliveries.

We enjoy to go out. Last night we came to this magnificent place which friends recommended to us. We spent a delightful experience there with exceptional meal and an efficient stuff and an impressive chef. We added this restaurant in our phone list and we will no doubt go again very soon. We highly recommend.

I meet with friends this great restaurant quite often! This is my favorite restaurant to dine. I visit this place regularly. The meals are fantastic, the staff members are friendly and the price is reasonable. I enjoy meeting in this place over a nice supper.

The place is excellent and roomy, the food was enchanting and the rates were very inexpensive. quickly, productive service and very amiable staff. Will definitely recommend this place.

Best curry in Dayton

My favorite Thai restaurant in the Dayton area. My boyfriend and I love the Siam Duck and Beef Noodle soup, but everything here is great. The kids always enjoy their meals too. The staff is always friendly and attentive when we dine in as well. Love this place!

The food was very very good. We had Tom Yum Chicken soup that was very good but I had them make it at medium spice and it was pretty spicy. My son had Phad Thai and liked it alot. I had the Drunken Men and it was perfectly made. My wife had the tender beef sizzling platter that was amazing. Service was very quick and drinks were always full.

Amazing!!! The food is ALWAYS served fast here. Food quality is great, served hot every time. We’ve tried multiple dishes and have dined multiple times and we are always very happy. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Very clean inside as well. We love Silver Spoon!

Amazing find! The best Thai I have had living in Cincy/Dayton area. It is evident the family cares very much for their business and customers. Utterly spotless, the menus even looked as though constructed fresh for every patron. The food was spot on, and well portioned. I had the green curry and my son ordered a noodle soup meal. If I could award Michelin stars, this place would have seen its first one today!

We are here several weeks ago at lunch and thought it was fantastic. Our food was sent out quickly. I really like their Thai tea. This is something I get at every Thai restaurant but don't like everywhere. We ordered nearly all the appetizers and had a meal too and everything was great!

Delicious selection of Thai traditional dishes. Great dishes of rice noodles, rice, and amazing curries. Spices and herbs abundant in every dish. Large portions and everything is prepared fresh and made to order level of spice. Quick and friendly service with a warm and quiet ambience.

We ordered through door dash and had a little problem. Thai Silver Spoon was so very nice and helpful. We finally recieved our order and it was hot and delicious.

This is a great Thai food place. The food is great and so are the prices. The turn around is excellent and they take this pandemic and the risk of spread very seriously. It is a pleasure to give them my business. Even when something goes wrong, they will work with you to correct the problem. Also, the Drunk Man Noodle with chicken and the curry are amazing here!

Descent local Thai restaurant. I'm changing my rating from a 4 to a 3 though. I always get the chicken Pad Thai. It seems like they have been putting less and less chicken in it every time I go back... Today's carry out order barely had any in it at all. Since this is the only thing I ever order here, I doubt I'll be going back. Update: several months later and I really wanted Thai so I thought I'd try them again. Confirmed they still don't give you chicken. See attached picture. We got two to go and both look like this. And no, there isn't chicken mixed in with the noodles...just a few fragments of chicken bits. So frustrating because the flavor is good. Just put some chicken in it!!

Last week was our first time we visited this restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last. We had a good time with the courteous service, with the first-rate food and fine drinks and with the comfortable cost. We will definitely return there again.

I like this spot! They offer delicious dishes, their menu is varied, The cook in that spot is very experienced, I enjoy very much eating all their food. The food is always fresh, the service towards the clients is agreeable. I visit often this place and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it to all.

Great dinner with my husband there tonight. We had egg rolls and edamame, followed by shrimp pad Thai and chicken crunchy Thai. Great food and great service. We will definitely go back again soon.

i ordered strawberry bubble tea for my friend and i, and it was delicious but the problem was the boba at the bottom was literally rock hard. it’s supposed to be popping boba but it was literally not even chewy or soft, it was as hard as a rock and was really unpleasant.

Ordered sticky rice with mango and sticky rice with custard. Both tasted very stale which means rice is bad.it was gross.I paid a lot of money for it. I wont be back.

First time enjoying Thai Silver Spoon yesterday for lunch. They have a great lunch menu and have a lunch special for a $1 fountain drink with an entree. We ordered the pad thai, pad see ew, and basil fried rice. All three dishes were amazing and well priced. My husband and I finished all three entrees with a little help from our 14 month old who liked the food as well. My only suggestion to them would be to get the condiment caddy. I need my green chilis when having my Thai food. Other than that, my family and I will be returning to try other items on the menu. Perhaps we will try the curries next.

My husband and I try to come once a month. We love it here! We are vegetarians and enjoy the drunken man with tofu and the pad see lew with tofu. The staff are friendly and very attentive.

I see a trend in the poor reviews from thai silver spoon and after reading the reviews I had a similar experience, so me and my nephew got sat place was empty did take about 35 minute to get 1 hot pot soup and chicken pad thai, then guess what we find a spider in our hot pot soup, at that point obviously we not going to eat it, we confront the waitress and they looked at it and not only did they agree it was, they said sorry these things happen... and they walked around a bit asked how the food was... what? Are you kidding I said please take that away we dont want nor do we eat spiders, then same thing walked around talking and then they hand us a check at full price... what in God's earth like really??? So I nicely approached and was like why are charging us for the soup there was a spider in it... in the end we got like 25 percent off like wow I was about to just walk out and not pay anything, but I paid and I left the sever a 18 percent tip based on the full price of the original order and she looked at us like we were wrong, again. Wow poor service and rude, I been working in restaurants for 12 years that soup would been taken off the bill immediately, anyhow dont expect any discounts from them if something wrong with your food unless you argue with them for 10 minutes

You may wait a really long time for your food, they may even forget your spring rolls. It is worth it. Everything was so delicious. The yellow curry was perfect, the sticky rice too. My new favorite local place to eat.

I celebrated my birthday this evening in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we had a great evening and the restaurant was clearly the reason for this fruitful evening. Food is really good. I give them a four star because they messed up my doordash order and forgot my spring rolls. Usually they are on top of it, but prices are a little high to mess up.

I'm a bit of a Thai connoisseur and I can say hands down this is my favorite Thai place within 30 miles (house of Thai in Beavercreek is a good one too). Things I HIGHLY recommend : 1) crispy pad thai (ask for peanuts and lime!) 2) pad see iew 3) panang curry (chicken in awesome sauce over rice) 4) cashew nut chicken Edit: had a pretty rude and disrespectful experience here just now. I placed a carry out order for 7:21 pm. I got an email at 6:32 pm saying my order was ready for pickup. I arrive at 7:20 pm to find my order ready to go by the counter with the ticket saying it was made an hour ago. The food is barely warm to the touch but the man keeps saying it just came out of the back. I don't argue because they are my favorite Thai place. I check out my food in the car and it's not even the right meal! I walk back in ask about the meal. The guy opens up my food and says "yeah this isn't the crispy pad thai". He carries it to the back of the restaurant and comes back out saying this is how they make it no and hands it back to me. I ask about why the food is cold and the receipt says it was ready for pick up an hour early and he says the food is hot and there is no problem. I didn't bother asking for a refund because I liked them up until this point but I can no longer recommend them and won't be returning.

We usually eat here every month. They've been great up until we ate their takeout the other day. The food made us sick for 2 days. We won't be back.

We really enjoyed our visit. The food was served hot and was quite flavorful. The portions were nicely sized. The service was friendly and attentive while being non intrusive. We could tell the owners have pride in their restaurant - everything was clean and maintained. Of all the Thai places in the region, Thai Silver Spoon is in our top three. We'll be back soon.
