The garlic/butter steak and baked potatoes with broccoli... was outstanding. The steak was very tender and had an amazing flavor. Also, had the salad bar which that alone can fill you up! ... two thumbs up! Best steak I had in years!! Kudos to the chef!

Coming from Toronto my family and I went to Hoss for dinner. In short I will never ever come back. Maybe it was just one of those days but my experience at Hoss was horrible to say the least. The salad bar looked sad with almost empty bins of what was supposed to be soup, bread and salad. Moreover, there was only one chef in the kitchen and it took over an hour to get our meals out. What made me angry was that even after waiting what seemed like forever, the food wasn't that great. Again maybe it was one of those days. But I would not want to go through that again. If it helps you put it into perspective, we went as a family of 4 with a total bill of $80 (didn't like it at all) at Hoss. We went the following day to a restaurant called 'Oliver Garden' a little more high end but surprisingly it was the same bill total with even more food and I enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely go there next time I visit the US. I'll include a few pictures of dishes we had...they were dry and the proportions were very small. Funny enough, we went to McDonald's later because we were still hungry. Anyways I hope this review helps you decide where to eat your next meal. I rarely leave bad reviews but I definitely had to write one for this place.

I love this place. The salad bar, move over Eat N Park. So fresh. Clean. Huge variety. Wonderful friendly staff. This is my favorite location.

We were looking for a place to have a light dinner after a long day. The soup and salad bar worked out great. With the option for an add on hot entree helped with the hungrier folks. The waitress was great with the kids too. I'll definitely be coming back

One of the absolute best soup and salad bars I have been to in a long time. The wait staff is super friendly and incredibly accommodating. The food is fresh, hot, and delicious. Highly recommend if you are anywhere near them!

We were there a little before 1pm on a Friday. It was super busy. They were understaffed as most places are these days. Waitress was as good as she could be waiting on nearly half the restaurant. My food was put in to the kitchen wrong, again probably not her fault because she was overwhelmed. Two people knew that my food was wrong and they offered to send it back but it was so slow I didn't want to wait that long. I politely declined and said it was fine. It was good, just not what I ordered. I thought I'd see a little discount in my bill but no. I ordered a crispy buffalo chicken sandwich and got it grilled btw. The garlic bread was outstanding on the salad bar that day, fyi.

We had the back room reserved for a Christmas party and had a great time. The soup and salad bar was a great deal and my son loved his burger. Great service for our group and a nice place for a get-together!

I'm not sure what has happened to this restaurant. Salad bar almost empty, no urgency to care for it. Soups thickened and empty, chicken soup with raw carrots..no garlic bread available during our stay...Steaks were small compared to same sizes at other steak places for the price. Our server was good and food came at a good time. Loved this place years ago...sad to see it go down. We still keep coming back. Manager, Owner...please come visit and get it back ...Hoss' you are losing customers to other restaurants..time for an overhaul.

Everything was fresh. Salad bar was delicious. Dinner was great. And our waitress Rachel was outstanding. I'm in customer service and I look for good customer service. She was top 5.

my steak was slightly overcooked but no big deal. the salad bar could have been a little better. my server was very attentive and nice. the atmosphere only got 4/5 because there was a child on the other side of the aisle relentlessly kicking his seat and being very loud which annoyed me.

We were there mid-afternoon mid-week, so it was pretty empty. Even so, the soup and salad bar was well stocked and fresh. The servers were very kind and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

I LOVE THE SOUP AND SALAD BAR!! I FILLED UP ON THAT AND COULDN'T EAT MY MEAL. The prices are very reasonable! It was bigger than I thought. We were seated right away on Mother's Day. We went at 3pm. Ice cream machine was broke when we went.

It has been a tradition for us to go to Hoss's for Mother's Day for years because it is my favorite restaurant, but we had a bad experience this past visit. My husband ordered his steak med well and it came to the table gushing blood, so they took it back with an attitude. It came back the 2nd time still gushing blood, so he had to send it back again, again with more attitude from the waitress. The 3rd time they brought it to the table, my husband could barely cut through it because it was so well done and the waitress said, "well it better be done now." My husband also ordered no gravy on his potatoes and he got gravy. We had to pay $25 for an overcooked steak and gravy he didn't want. The waitress was terrible at her job. Maybe she was having a bad day, I don't know, but she gave us such an attitude and at one point threw the check at me and I wasn't even the one paying. She got ticked off at someone who served us ice cream cups( who was only trying to help) because she also brought out ice cream cups for us. One of the biggest disappointments was the ice cream machine was broken and wasn't even there. So they brought out these tiny portion of ice cream cups to each person with no room for toppings. To be honest, the ice cream bar is one of the biggest reasons why I love Hoss's, and I will not go back if they don't bring that back. They could have at least offered to take that steak off of our bill, but the waitress made us feel like it was our fault that we kept sending the steak back. We may give them another shot, because the salad bar was still great and at least my steak was great, but at least we wanted to warn others of our bad experience.

I really like this chain of restaurants but it was not up to par. Everything we ordered was overcooked. A cheese steak, 2 burgers and sirloin tips. The salad bar was very good. The manager did not bill us for the meal. I would still go back and recommend. I'm sure next will be better.

I’ve had decent experiences at Hoss’s in the past, but this location was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, there was no host at the front desk to greet and seat us. We waited until one of the waitresses was available to seat us. When my husband’s food came, she informed me that my food would be a while because another server had taken it to the wrong table so they needed to remake my order. The food itself was good, and the manager did discount that meal for us, which was appreciated. The ice cream machine was out of order. They were out of mashed potatoes and broccoli. There was a hair in my dessert. We never got refills of water. All told, fairly disappointing, and I wouldn’t return to this location. However, our waitress herself was actually lovely, despite all the other things that went wrong. They were obviously very understaffed.

The pricing for Hoss's is getting out of hand for the quality they offer but the food was good. My son got the 15 fried shrimp with a loaded baked potato. I will say the cocktail sauce had nice a bite to it. I had the 6 oz sirloin in a honey glaze sauce. It was a bit sweet but tasty.

The food was OK for fast food. The staff were super busy, they surely work hard for their money. We were happy to leave a big tip. ❤. The salad bar was nice, however I really miss the old brown derby and Pizza Hut salad bars from years ago. Gosh, they were the best.

I had the salad bar . Which includes the dessert section also. The soup was very good. The salad bar isnt real big, but the selection of items made it worthwhile. I enjoyed the meal. I was seated immediately upon arrival.

I haven't been here in years but definitely went down hill and prices went up. Beef tips and baked potatoes small... ice tea not good and salad bar items not very cold. I remember this place being much better years ago. You could go to a higher end steak house and get better food for this price.

I've always loved this place since I was a kid. Sad to see not too many locations around anymore. On this visit, I simply got the salad and dessert bar which is an amazing value with everything they have to choose from. The garlic bread is always a favorite and the nacho bar is pretty good as well. Top that off with some self serve ice cream and loads of toppings.... A+
