My
husband
and
I
stayed
two
nights
here,
Christmas
weekend,
just
to
get
away
from
the
city
(St.
Louis)
and
to
do
some
sightseeing.
I
called
Phyllis
Friday
afternoon
to
let
her
know
we
would
be
arriving
later
in
the
evening,
and
asked
if
I
could
upgrade
to
a
different
room.
She
was
so
accommodating
to
my
last
minute
request,
and
we
ended
up
in
the
White
Cliffs
of
Dover
room,
which
is
a
nod
to
war
vets.
My
husband
is
a
veteran
and
I
knew
he
would
enjoy
the
room,
and
turns
out
Phyllis
is
too!
There
is
no
cable
in
the
rooms,
just
antenna
TV,
but
honestly
we
never
turned
it
on.
Between
sitting
on
the
bench
outside
our
room,
all
the
books,
things
on
the
walls
to
read,
and
the
games
(we
played
scrabble
on
a
vintage
board)
we
didn't
need
to
watch
TV.
The
property
is
not
on
a
busy
road,
which
is
nice
because
it's
quiet.
There
is
a
gas
station
on
the
corner
and
a
cute
diner
up
the
street,
so
it's
also
convenient.
10/10
I'd
recommend
anyone
stay
here.
