Good thing they have gloves that we are supposed to use as we serve our food, but there should be someone watching because lots did not have any on. Food was good and line was not bad. Like all place a bit short in staff and Lisa that was in charge of our area was doing the Best to take care of more than 12 tables at a time.

The food was great. The service not so much. We had a waiter standing by our table with his butt almost touching the chair at our table while conversating with another employee. One server was rude when i just askd for silverware. I recommend going earlier for dinner if you don't want to be arm to arm with other people. It can get very busy.

It was my first time at this Golden Corral. There were so many foods that were running low or that were empty. It was not that busy for all of the foods to be running low. They barely had the grilled steak and many other foods. There was also barely any of the drinks. It’s better to just take your money and go elsewhere. The waitress we had would also just takes things off of our tables without asking if we are done with them and she barely offered us refills as they barely had drinks.

Restaurant was clean enough but, still disappointed overall! My fiance' and I went on a Sunday morning for breakfast! The selection was extremely limited....no omelet station, no cereal and milk bar and NO juice bar! The food was OK and edible, there was just no variety! We probably won't be back for breakfast but, we may give dinner another try!

For starters working in a restaurant no coworker should be on there phone or video chatting while working . Who ever the manager today did a poor job of being a manager. One the food needs flavor lots of it . 2 I have a complaint about a worker tall Spanish guy with a nose ring and his nails painted she be flirting with the guys should not be doing that . Trust and believe he should be fired i don’t care how far he travel to come to work . He at work to get paid not to flirt with other guys . If he wants to do that work at a strip club for guys . And idk why he was busy painting his coworker nails not good while customers are around . Change the managers or close the place down and reopen with all new staff

So if you are the owner and you don't offer workers time and a half on Thanksgiving. The whole place looks like this. We had to bus our own tables. Get our own drinks. The staff is overwhelmed. There are no plates no utensils... We have no wait staff.. everyone is self serving. Luckily we had wipes to clean our table. . Where do I send in my time sheet for bussing the tables...

Great place for a wide selection of American food, fair prices especially for all you can eat.

I have the worst server in the world. I had to refill my own drink. The table next to us stayed dirty. Had to replace the silverware myself. She told the woman I was with to just clean her fork with a napkin. We were here for an hour and she never cleaned the table next to us. She cleared our table once. The place was practically empty so there was no excuse for this

Golden Corral Is and was a BIG disappointment. The chicken was dried and hard . How can a chicken be so dry and hard at 11am ??? .The fries also dry . The pork looked dry . Pretty hard to swallow. When I asked the kitchen employee when is the onion rings are coming out , woooo she snapped at me ,and said " THEY COME OUT WHEN THE COME OUT" This type of behavior promotes hostility Would I recommend this place to my friends Nope....

I was skeptical about this place but I was pleasantly surprised! The food, for breakfast, was very good. I would definitely go again when I visit my family in Ludlow! I'd skip the corn though. I like my corn crunchy.

As a southerner I had to see how it is to eat my food in a northern town and it was the worst I have ever had. We take pride in everything from our barbeque to our seafood and this was horrible! The chilli was full of fat and tasted as though it came from the butt end of the cow! The dirty rice was dull. The Mac and cheese was too horrible to describe. There was practically nothing seafood such as frog legs or seafood casserole we are famous for. No spinach casserole. Only one fish and no salmon. Corn and mashed potatoes was about all the vegetables choices. On the plus side, the sirloin steak was tender and juicy and pleasant. The carrot cake was nothing like they claimed either. If ever you want to serve real southern food I could come and give some pointers... maybe even cook for you. Did I remark about the pulled pork? I guess I might save that for a rainy day.

Food is trash. I visited over the weekend. Spent $80 my server left and didn't let us know. When we needed a refill we ask the gentleman who was attending every 1 on our side but us, when I asked he said you guys don't have a server? Like no sir we don't. The Raspberry Ice Tea tasted weird. It was not a pleasant taste. The food was way too expensive and not worth the money at all. It upset all of our stomachs.. A REFUND WOULD OF BEEN NICE. Never again coming here I don't leave bad reviews but this had to be known.

It's a great place to eat if they kept up with the food. Waited over 20 minutes just to get some fried chicken. When asked how long it would be. (In a pleasant voice) I was told I'm cooking it so wait. RUDE. And I lived in Alabama and the steak was on the dinner menu at no charge NOT an extra $5.00. Sorry I had to vent Sincerely Ken Bowers

I haven’t been here in 7 years. Today I was able to drive to the State of Massachusetts while on vacation 48min away. I completely wasted my gas and time! Even my 3 kids did not like their food! On a Friday evening you would expect fresh food and everything looked and tasted OLD! Toco shells stale. FLIES AT THE TABLES!!!! The young lady was handling RAW chicken with flour then grabbed a pizza tray and served it with the same gloves and went back to the raw chicken!!!! We left after seeing that and We will NEVER go back!

It is not what it used to be. Asked for a rare piece of steak and got raw. Not as many choices as before. Service was good. People were very nice and friendly. Atmosphere was a little off. I will go back again to give it another try though, since I really do love it there.

A great buffet, I love the fried okra and kale everything you can get it cooked the way you want it chef is happy to give you a steak grill to perfection. Perhaps you want some chicken or Chinese food maybe you just love the salads everything is fresh and ready to go. Great service went there for a birthday party and had a tight timeframe, as we were meeting other people in Springfield you cannot you cannot get quicker service anywhere that I have been so when you need a Buffay and you're on a tight timeframe for great food, this is your spot ,caution you will gain weight if you eat there every day

Veterans/Military only honored on V-Day, other locations not an issue. I had to ask staff to refill empty selections, also observed a staff member barking back at the manager as his back was turned. The desert selection should include Tapioca pudding 😆, bread pudding delicious. Franchise should honor the Vets all year round, my personal opinion.

We usually have positive experiences at Golden Coral. The meat / steak options are usually pretty good and the staff is helpful and nice. While it is a semi sit down restaurant we enjoy it as they have the ability to pull tables together if you have a larger group and generally there are no issues.

Everyone is enjoying the food so it's a bit loud in a good way. The food was surprisingly great! Salad bar was fresh and full. Employees were happy to help with a smile. My family and I had an awesome Golden Corral experience I

Veteran’s day decided to go out to eat at GC The management was bought and golden carol is not as good as it use to be. The food is dry, it may look good but a few bites and forget it. Not appealing did not have any breakfast items or Italian dressing or steak. Bathroom awful. Bakery dry, They watch every table on camera and to purchase a container it’s 6$ to take food extra on top of what u paid to enter? all u can eat. So they try to get more $$ by purchasing containers. Utensils nasty and rugs chairs needs upgrade. I won’t go back there again. They were excellent when they opened up at first but the ones who have it now AWFUL 😣 They keep it the way they want it and treat their employees awful. Actually my experience was just awful there. I have a stomachache now

Cashier was getting yelled at by manager she handled very well. I told him to back off and let her do her job. Could tell she was getting frustrated upset and embarrassed. The food was great hit, fresh and a lot of variety. The wait staff were friendly and very busy.

The food and cleanliness were much better than the last time I was here. Definitely will return. Wish I knew the name of the man behind the grill because he made my steak amazing.

I came in one day it was cold and salty it’s probably because it was the end of the night came in during a busy busy time they gave us three meals and the food was very good actually. Managers are great food was hot and fresh. Close to perfect nice

The food is exactly what you expect for an American buffet at a reasonable price. We enjoyed our meals and left full and happy. The servers and staff were so friendly and nice, everyone was always busy cleaning, cooking, serving, etc. They seemed to take pride in their work and it showed. It was refreshing and we will deff come back to check out breakfast next. They had plenty of options for two picky kids too! Overall I'd say a true 4.5 but rounded up because they were too good of an establishment to round down

Considering it is the only actual buffet for miles despite no highway access nearby (although it is on state route with a mall and other plazas nearby), Golden Corral is not only Springfield's premier buffet, it is also the buffet capital Western Mass. I can't believe how packed it was that day although a little surprising considering I went on a weekend and to the fact that it happened on Saturday. Loads of people eating here with barely any tables available. WOW! The actual buffet food is so good that if you've been here, then you'll wanna come back soon. There are options on how the steaks are cooked here so that anytime you want a steak from Golden Corral, then you can ask whichever steak you want cooked in (rare, medium, well done, etc.). The salad bar looks so good too! There's food options that aren't found at another buffet I've gone to (Hibachi in West Hartford, CT) like fried okra, fried liver, steak, and more. They even serve a birthday dessert dish for those who go here on their actual birthdays. I was served a red velvet cake with frosting on it for my birthday here. When I walked into a bathroom, it wasn't only sanitized but on the door it has a sanitary door opener which is a cool experience of using a bathroom to make sure that you have clean hands enough to limit the spread of germs. The plates are always sanitized before they're served. The staff are awesome, and I am pleased about their courtesy. That buffet overall is a wonderful experience! I'm very hopeful that I will come back here soon despite the fact that I live in CT and about forty minutes away. P.S. I went here with the whole family.

The food was good! Server (Noelle) was really gross. Creeped on me and my 4 female friends. Looked at our chests and thighs, touched our necklaces, gave us the wrong drinks. Acted different at the other tables. CALLED US HIS LITTLE HAMSTERS!!! Told the manager and he apologized and begged us to come back. No refund or real apology, even told us no when we asked for a refund. Real grossed out.

The staff was nice and the food was okay. There was one man who i told I dropped a piece of chicken on the counter top right next to the food/buffet and he just looked at me and said "what?!" Then walked away. He looked like he may have been an owner I'm not sure but he was super rude. I was just trying to let someone know because I didn't want to leave it there.

Sadly this was the second disappointing visit in a row. First time it was dead slow. Food was very off and service was nonexistent. Today it was busy and I honestly haven’t seen a single server go to any tables in my area. We had to get our own drinks and this was the table. Dishes not picked up once. Luckily this is enough for me not to come back. It was so disappointing.
