While it is usually always busy and can sometimes involve a wait to be seated, I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at Cheddar's. The food is good. The prices are fair. The service is attentive and friendly. Nothing fancy, it just works.

Cheddars took me by surprise tonight. They have a Texas T Bone steak on the menu for a limited time only. The cook was perfect on my steak. I could have just at that by itself without any sides because it was very fulfilling. Our server was great. Typically at any restaurant you still have to wait even though the text notification says your table is ready. Nope not tonight. Our table was ready exactly when they said it would be.

Honestly I don't have anything bad to say. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name so would get credit for this... short bob type cut, black hair, I think the tips were dyed blue or green)... she was an absolute angel. When she heard our 11 year old had a birthday, she brought us these cookies to celebrate and took the time (out of her busy schedule!) to write "11!" in chocolate sauce which was just super sweet. She was very attentive despite having not one empty table in her section. The wait time wasn't bad (we started 29th in line and it took about 40 minutes). The food was top notch, my steak was perfectly cooked, and the country fried steak that my hubs ordered was almost bigger than my 1 year old daughter 😅 Drinks stayed full. It was just a great experience. Highly recommend!

Oh Cheddars, you never disappoint. I've been visiting this Cheddars for over 20 years. The only thing I'm sad about is that once the pandemic hit, they got rid of their broccoli cheddar soup and they changed their coffee.

We love Cheddars! The staff is always so friendly and seem like they actually enjoy their jobs. The food is delicious and you can’t beat the honey glazed croissants you get for for FREE before your meal! Try the Monte Carlo-it’s almost like a breakfast/lunch/dessert all in one! The atmosphere is bright and so many details to take in while waiting for your food which came quickly. Five stars Cheddars! Five big stars!

I've never been to a cheddar's before this location and let me tell you... this location definitely made me a loyal cheddar's customer from here on out! All of the food was hot and absolutely tasty. Steaks cooked just how we asked and honestly the best chicken strips I ever had. We had a very large party with us and the wait staff handled it great. I will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again and if I'm near any other cheddars locations I will be stopping at them and leaving reviews for them as well!

Good place to go with quality food. I enjoyed my meal; however, service was not good. Door greeter/hostess was kind and provided good customer service, but the waiter needs improvement. He doesn't belong on the floor. There are several complaints about his work ethic and service.

We love Kevin!! His service is so great! she offered so many option and extra things we hadn’t tried before. The food and atmosphere here is really reliable! It’s so consistent! You always know what you will get here! It’s good vibes always! Monte cristo, chicken tenders, and pot pie are some of our reliable favorites!

Our waitress was wonderful! The food was good. I had the monti cristo sandwich and I feel like the meat used for the sandwich couldve been better quality. The meat reminded me of the great value stuff at walmart. Everyone else really enjoyed their food and the atmosphere was nice.

Always a great experience at Cheddars. My sirloin steak was awesome even though overcooked a bit. I loved the crispy crust on the steak and so tender. My wife had the ribs and we both think theirs are the best ribs in SGF by far. The complimentary croissants are always a special treat. Service was great.

Decent atmosphere and decent staff. Usually friendly. Their New Orleans pasta is one of my favorite dishes. Their ribs and steak is also pretty good usually but if you get there late at night I've noticed the ribs are usually not as good at that time of day. But they're still ok. The ribs are usually pretty tender which is nice. And they're usually pretty good about cooking a steak the way it's requested. Service is usually pretty good as well. Just be warned there are some times this location gets exceedingly busy so expect to have a bit of wait if you happen to show up at one of those times.

On a very busy Saturday at Noon we got sat in under 15, for mother's day weekend the service and speed was exceptional. We had our food within 15 minutes of ordering at most and the staff was super kind and attentive. Been here since I was a child, the menu and style sure has changed but the chicken strip will never change and are always the absolute best. The RANCH is absolutely worth it as well!

We landed here late on a Tuesday evening, as it was one of the few places open after 9pm. We weren't alone...at least 10 more people walked in behind us. We could tell that the place was trying to wind down and servers were beginning to leave, yet the remaining crew rallied and did an amazing job of handling the hungry crowd!! Our server was prompt, friendly, and made the experience very enjoyable. The drinks were good and the food was the usual tasty fare. Would definitely return here...and if I'm ever in Springfield late on a Tuesday night, I'll know just where to go!

Nicer casual restaurant, plenty of booth seating, and table seating to please anybody. Good food, American cuisine with a little panache! The serving staff was very professional, communicative, and welcoming. This staff clearly is concerned about the customer's interests. And the food was better than the average, but be sure to ask questions about your menu items as there were a couple of things that surprised me... Not in a terrible way but if I had known I might have made a different choice. It was still delicious and I have no complaints.

Ordered family chicken to go. Had to wait for croissants. Ordered meal alot and always was hot when it got home. Everything was cold. Broccoli casserole had a block of cheese and alot of little pieces. So not cooked. Staff was nice. Horrible food Tonight!

Went to Cheddars for the first time with my girlfriend about a week ago. Called ahead and was told there was no wait, 10 minutes later and it was looking like we were gonna wait around 15 minutes for a table. We happily sat at the bar (Open seating) and had Ryan serve us. Ryan was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely one of the best servers I have ever had. Food took around 10-15 minutes which is standard, came out nice and hot and was DELICIOUS. Restaurant was clean, team was energetic, management was also incredibly friendly. Will 1000% be coming back and specifically requesting Ryan.

I wanted to like the restaurant seeing as it was my first time there. It was fairly busy and just getting drinks to start with took around 10 minutes. The food order took over 45 minutes itself. When the food arrived I was so happy and hungry! I ordered a combo chicken tender/shrimp meal with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I was highly disappointed in the shrimp. It was kinda warm and tasted like it was done first and waited to be served for a while. The chicken tenders were a little better, but sad to say Hardee's and other fast food places taste way better. The best part of the meal was the bread appetizer and the side dishes. For what was paid, I can't recommend this place to anyone anytime soon. There are other great restaurants within a decent distance to eat at. Ah, last thing. I'm not sure what the air was set at, but my gf and myself found it very warm and not as easy to eat with how hot the restaurant was.

Hurricane drink was probably the best part of the whole meal. Although it lacked the vodka. We weren't given the free croissants. We ordered the Buffalo wrap. Barely any Buffalo sauce. The Monte Cristo we also ordered was burnt . Normally, we would give Cheddars a good review, but this one was by far the worst of all the ones we've been to.

We love Cheddars. Always busy but in pretty fast for a great meal. Service is one of the best around. Hard for wheelchairs to get around. Not the best for small kids( to busy). Room for larger groups or just two. Good food choices. But missing one great thing. NO MORE ONION STRAWS !! WHAT GIVES??

The appetizers we ordered were so good and it's a lot for your money. The server, that was training with the bar attendant, was attentive and friendly. Thank you.

We went in on our dinner date and my husband ordered a whole rack of ribs and they was dry but the second batch was so moist and they tasted so good.. here is the picture of the remade ribs.. they look so good. Love eating at Cheddars!

Excellent food, good service and a very popular restaurant. Ribs really fall off the bone. Quite good. Broiled shrimp a little bit spicy.
