Delicious food, big portions and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. Will come again

Extremely friendly staff. Sunny smile brighten up my day. Nice coffee and brunch. I had Avo Toast with two boiling eggs. Next time I am going to have the Egg Benedict.

The team are so helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to meet our needs and delivered an amazing looking grazing box right on time! Highly recommend this place! 😊

Easily one of the best cafes in the area. The service is always great with staff that are extremely friendly. The coffees always taste great. Their Oregano and Cheese scroll is a must try. Added bonus is the ability to call and make a take away order when you’re rushing.

This review is coming from a past worker at hideout cafe. What you see is not what you get. 1. Hygiene - They don't keep great hygiene. The workers at the back don't bother to wash hands before handling the foods. I experienced a worker to cough on the foods (Didn't even try to cover mouth.) Then continue working without washing hands. The only time hands are washed is when they get dirty with the meat/zatar and they wash it in the dirty water where the plates are soaked. 2. Terrible Handling of foods (Surprised no one gets sick) - When they want to defrost the chicken they defrost it in warm water next to plates that have been cleaned and washed. the freezer consists of food that is piled on top of each other. NO SEPARATING THE FROZEN MEAT FROM THE FROZEN FRUIT OR ICECREAM. The dough is kept in a draw that doesn't not get wiped out instead just throw the small scraps. I have never seen it being sanitised before or after use. The racks where they dry the pizza plates on it is extremely dirty and very greasy! 3. They treat workers terribly! - They yell at workers for doing things wrong (Keep in mind you do not get ANY form of training!) I WAS NEVER RECEIVED A PAYSLIP. l When I proceeded to ask the owner for one was then treated very rudely because of one worker right. Was under payed and when I proceeded to speak to the owner I was then told that this is what I agreed on. This is place is not what everyone thinks it to be! Beware! The hideout cafe and pizza is not very great!

first off, lets start with those crispy cronchy chips 🤤 sooo crunchy, i was satisfied with every bite! extra salt on top for all the sodium lovers out there haha we also got the steak sanga, which was pretty decent in my opinion, and i am so glad we're keeping it #aussie with those generous slices of beetroot in there! the meat was nice and soft sandwiched between toasted bread next up, that gorgeously poached egg and perfectly runny yolk! gives me tingles the way it runs down the stack! i loved the haloumi and smashed avo, but felt that the bread underneath became soggy very quickly with the spinach and mushroom n i was a bit put off from that haha for drinks we grabbed the caramel milkshake on soy and the mango lychee smoothie, both wins in my book! 📖🥤 if you're ever in the area, def check out this cosy lil cafe in old toongabbie! check out my food instagram @erinxeats for more!

Great place for an all day breakfast. And we came back to try the Lebanese cheese and spinach triangle, yummy! Update: service was a little ordinary today, waited 20 minutes for coffee and milkshakes, hoping for a better experience next time. Update: really busy today July 2023, but the lovely waitress made a plan for us, food and drinks were great, thank you 😊

Nestled in the backstreets of Toongabbie, The Hideout Cafe and Pizza has captured my taste buds as a frequent traveler. With a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the exceptional operator, Natalie, ensures that every visit is memorable. The service at The Hideout is nothing short of excellent, with the staff treating all guests like old friends. It's evident that Natalie's hospitality sets the tone for the entire cafe, making it a standout in terms of service. But what truly surprised and delighted me was the variety of options available, including the enticing monthly specials. The food is incredible and the coffee hits the spot. Moreover, The Hideout Cafe and Pizza have brilliantly expanded their offerings to include all the Lebanese breakfast favorites, adding a unique and delightful twist to their menu. If you're seeking a hidden gem in Toongabbie with outstanding service, scrumptious food, and an inviting atmosphere, The Hideout Cafe and Pizza is a must-visit. I can't recommend it enough.

The good: Nice friendly staff, always appreciate it when cafes give you a biscuit with the coffee. Decent amount of seating as well (outdoors mainly). The bad: Soy latte wasn’t very good. Size of the burger is quite small and doesn’t include any chips or salads as sides.

Ordered chicken avocado wrap all meals at our table arrived except the wrap asked twice and assured it was coming all the tables around us got their food even after arriving after our table. Finally after 45 min to an hour third time asking the wrap was given by this time the whole table of people had finished their meal and wanting to leave but had to wait to I ate The wrap was not satisfying with so much avocado and lettuce little chicken Staff did offer a coffee on the house which was declined as at this stage they are stacking chairs. I personally will not go there again I feel that if you pay good money you should have good service

The best breakfast in the area! So glad I found this place. Authentic Lebanese food, highly recommend! Fresh ingredients and friendly staff. They get quite busy so make sure you’re in early or call to make a booking. I ordered the big breakfast and seriously it could feed 4 people or two adults and two kids. I had take away the first time and it was still NICE & warm! We had to try dine in this time and it didn’t disappoint. The Lebanese sausages were my favourite! The labna was also really good Deliciousness!

The Hideout is a place to enjoy with family and they have great food and drink options. The pizza was fresh and tasted good. Unlike other cafés, if you order an iced latte, this one will come with sugar so make sure you order it without sugar when paying at the counter. Staff was friendly and accommodating and changed my friend’s drink to one without sugar. Overall great hidden gem that was glad to go to.

The food is good, except the sides I feel it but pricey than other breakfast cafes. Also, this doesn’t have any great ambience nor this place is wide spread. Though the food is ok, the customer service is a big minus. Pretty rude staff and they don’t help you with anything.

Delicious menu! Between the Eggs Benny, The Oregano Pizza, Tradie Burger and the Smoothie bowl + the Lemon and Mint Smoothie! My favourite thing was the smoothie bowl and I still think about it all the time! Can surely say I walked away fully satisfied. The staff were super friendly and nice.

Hidden little gem in suburbia. We tried the Lebanese breakfast which was a little pricey at $23 for 2 fried eggs, 3 small sausages, labne, olives, tomatoes, cucumber and Lebanese bread. Will try the big breakfast next time. The Lebanese pizzas were really good and coffees were decent. Ambience was nice in the covered patio area and the young female wait staff was polite and efficient.

One of the best finds in inner west. Their coffee is absolute gem. Thanks to the barista, he understood what we want and catered our requirements when we are specific about our coffee. Well maintained and gives you all the weekend vibe one would expect.

Welcoming, warm, low key, and the food was so so delicious. They have a variety of options. I had the pumpkin soup, partner had breaky burger, chips - everything was a 10/10 for us. Will be returning!

Ordered through Uber eats, but the menu is falsely advertised. Ordered A pack of brownies, only got one. A large serve of sweet potato chips is only for 1, no bigger than a regular size from say McDonald's...... the desserts were thrown in with the hot food so were melted and mushy and all the hot food was cold and mushy. It was extremly over priced for what we received as well. Won't be ordering again.
