    This reservoir has been constructed across Per Aru stream. This tank can be reached through Puthukuduirrippu - Oddusudan road. The place can be visited without any permission. the scenery is more beautiful in the evenings. This reservoir was fully rehabilitated under Dam Safety and Water Resources Planning Project.

    One of the big tank in the vanni. It’s in the mullaitivu district.supply water for farming.people says it was built by a Tamil king MUTTHAIYAN. It is very deep water. I would say it’s not safe to bath in tank when it’s full.
