This is a very nice place to stay in Ella. Calm, clean, middle in the jungle, pure relax! At the same time it takes you max 10 minutes by feet to the city centre. This place has definitely the best breakfast!!! Everything you wish: rotti, eggs, hoppers, fresh fruit, pancakes... and this is with amazing view on the jungle!

A decent stay! Mr. Thushara is a great host who guided us regarding the trip. Location is not very accessible but the stay will not disappoint you. An amazing breakfast with a view was the best part.

The lovely Green Lantern Inn houses are within walking distance of Mini Adam Peak and Nine Arch Bridge. The kind, attentive and helpful owner of this hotel is ready to help with any questions.

Good and peaceful place for budget stay. Do not expect 5 star quality facilities there. But I can guarantee that you will be comfortable and can enjoy your stay.

Green Lantern is very cosy place with hot water and facilities for chill climate such as Ella. 5 mints walk to Ella Town and you can cook your meals since they offer shared kitchen. Mr & Mrs. Thushara are very friendly and they help us to make our stay memorable. I personally recommended their clean and cosy chalets if you are staying at Ella.

This is such a quaint and quiet place. Only 3 rooms all with private bathrooms and own veranda overlooking the forest. The room and bathroom are modern and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is amazing. The service is Great, nothing is too much. All you hear is the sounds of the forest, although it is only a short but steep walk from town. Would highly recommend .

3 really nice rooms available. Take a tuktuk to get there from the center of Ella and make sure you have a mobile phone with whatsapp in order to text the owner once you arrive :) There is no reception per say but the welcome you get is really nice and the owner lives next door. Blankets available since the nights in the mountain can be fresh. Overall excellent experience.

The host is very friendly and always keen on feeling the guest welcomed. If you have any questions he’ll be there. The stay is clean and not far from the Centre. Very quiet and comfortable stay. I’d go there again without hesitation :)

A good place to stay for a couple of nights in Ella. The owner is amiable & the staff are friendly & helpful. Breakfasts are good, they have a variety of Sri Lankan & Western options. A bit of steep climb to the premises & the parking is basic (better for a smaller vehicle or tuktuk). They have hot water & blankets for when it is cold. The city is around 200m away with many of the famous food spots in Ella. If not, staff will gladly get you some food from around or dish something up. The room closest to the mountain tends to get a bit cold. Best to be well prepared for the weather. Overall a good experience. Really good WiFi connection.

Such a great place to stay for a couple of nights. The three cabins are located just off the main road (5 min walking) and around 10min to the train station. Here you will stay in the middle of the jungle so maybe you are lucky and you can see some monkeys and heaps of squirrels jumping around the trees in front of your terrace. The owner and his wife are very friendly, helpflul and always happy! They provide awesome service without trying to sell anything to you. The owner was available via whatsapp all the time for us. We could just let him know at what time we want to have breakfast the next day the night before. Speaking of breakfast: it's a lot and it's very tasty! If we come back to Ella we'd stay here again!

Fantastic place to stay in Ella - very close to the center (less than 10min walk) yet far enough so it’s incredibly quiet - and you can walk to various viewpoints too! The room was very comfortable, with its own terrace, hot water, good wifi (good enough to take video calls!) The breakfast was absolutely stunning, healthy and generous portions - the best part of though is the owner/manager and how accommodating and helpful he is. He went above and beyond to help during my stay and made sure I felt at home and I couldn’t be more thankful for that. Will absolutely recommend everyone I know to stay there if they pass by Ella!

Lovely jungly setting, close to the bus stop yet it feels like you are way out in the countryside. Very nice rooms with a private terrace. Superb breakfast.
