[Review for Café] Beautiful interior, chilled vibe, super tasty food (loved the blueberry infused porridge and mushroom hummus bread), tasty juice, friendly staff. Love the menu here with vegetarian and also vegan options. Will come again ♡ Try the roasted veggie hummus bread - its so good and quite unique :) They also offer Yoga drop in classes at a good price 1500LKR. Their schedule is on Insta :)

We had an overall bad experience with a booking in the Venus Villa, which is a part of Nuga House. The Nuga House itself is nice, the food quite nice and the service locely. But: The electricity (AC, fan etc.) and the WiFi weren’t working in our room. Allegedly they fixed it in the afternoon, but still it wasn‘t working in the evening. The management pointed responsability to government electrical problems and refused to communicate in a guest friendly manner. We decided to move out at 9.30pm in the evening, management proposed a full refund which we will not get because of fees. It‘s a pitty for such a nice place to treat guests this way and not even apologize for the inconveniences.

This review is for the Venus Villa which is part of the Nuga House. Our check-in was delayed and the electricity, AC, fan and wifi in the room didnt work. Management tried to fix it but wasn‘t able to do so until after 10pm when we decided to move out since the heat in the room wasn‘t bearable. The overall communication with management was quite bad and not helpful for the situation. The final refund was significantly lower than our original payment allegedly due to transaction fees. In the end it was a lot of trouble, annoyances and an overall bad experience. l guess staying in the main part of the Nuga House could end up being a better experience since it looked nice and the food in the restaurant was quite good. Nevertheless the attitude and communication of the management lacks empathy and professionalism.

If you want to stay in a classy and welcoming place, you found the spot. Amazing, fresh food at their café that is open most of the day. Lovely staff. The place is amazing with it's own pool,jungle vibes and the rooms are spacious and clean. Highly recomend.

The Nuga house, was the worst experience of my life. The owner talked to us in a very bad way, i felt unsafe & life-threatened. We booked for 2 nights through booking.com. once we arrived at the property we didn't like the place. Negative vibe! Bed sheet was dirty, used towel in the washroom, no proper check in. Since there is no phone in the room, no reception and no staff in the hotel i sent a direct message to their Instagram page to inform that i would like to check out I waited for a while but i got no response. We had to leave to find another place to stay. She came once we were in about to leave and started to shout. Since my bank account details was provided i thought they could take the fees from my account. She called me a theif. I got hurt mentally and emotionally by the nuga house, this situation was a big shock for me. I wanted to take more photos but the owner didn't allow me.

A hidden gem in Kalabana/Ahangama area. Quite spacious, elegantly simple rooms, fantastic kitchen and the most chilled out atmosphere on the south coast. Everything is just natural and easy going here. Yoga lessons in the morning, easy access to the beach. The whole crew is cool, calm and collected, full of smiles. Try the fruit+curd or shakshuka for breakfast and you’ll never want to leave this place!

This place is just awesome! Good vibes, nice interior, good food, good location. We loved the dogs and there is the opportunity to do yoga. Staff is super friendly, it's quiet and not in typical tourist spot. We loved our stay here ❤️ Wir hatten eine mega gute Zeit hier!

This review is for Oasis Villa. Absolutely stunning, nicely decorated and neat Villa situated in a quiet area. Beautiful pool and everything you would need for your relaxing vacay. Neus, the host, is just incredible, such a lovely and friendly person, who was very responsive and helpful and made check-in & check-out as easy as possible. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this place to everyone! Thanks for everything Neus and all the best!💙

Very quiet, relaxed and cute hotel to stay in. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and tidy and you get a beautiful yoga shala and garden where you can relax after a surf session. Breakfast is included and you get as much tea and coffee as you want, which is a big bonus! Would definitely go back!

We stayed here for 5 nights with our 3 year old and it became a home away from home, for us. The Nuga House has wonderful vibe & energy. The yoga center offers residents a great way to start their day and ensures there is a healthy buzz at the property. The staff were very sweet and you truly feel looked after. From Nils (check-in & overall in-charge) to Jayanti (chef) to Kumar (security). All the best guys. We can't wait to be back!

We stayed at the Nuga house for 5 nights over the new year period and it was amazing! The staff were all friendly and the host Neus was very helpful. About 150m to a great surf break and an easy Tuk Tuk into the main part of town. Would definitely go again.

The yoga classes here are spot on- so good and advanced! Best yoga teachers I had in Ahangama.

I went to the Nuga House several times to have breakfast/lunch and took each morning their yoga lessons and my feedback couldn’t be greater. I would recommend sleeping at this hotel Boutique if you are visiting Ahangama or stopping by at some point for a coffee break! The team will welcome you with open arms and you can even find a small collection of garments produced locally!!!

Best coffee on the south coast. Have searched far and wide but a coconut latte from Nuga house is hands down the best. Great accom, very clean and tidy with a great menu for food.

The Oasis villa by The Nuga house💚 My friends and I stayed at the Oasis villa to celebrate my birthday. Amazing, cozy place, clean rooms, beautiful interior, swimming pool, there is a place to relax near the pool, small kitchen. Not far from the main street , but the area is very peaceful. I highly recommend this place!
