Any vehicle can reach to the nearest place if it is not raining. Last part of the road is not carpeted. There is a parking place near this lake. This is a place where you can have a bath a boat ride and see both of Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala Rock at the same from distant view point. Love that view.

Awesome place to bath in Sigiriya. We stay at Sina hotels and they show is this beautiful lake. Falling point is the best place to swim. You can see both Pidurangala and Sigiriya in this place. Lot of tourists visit this place to take selfies and photographs cos of this rare spot. We took many pictures and had a lovely bath.

Beautiful and less crowded area close to sigiriya. You will have a nice view of lion rock and pidurangala from this lake when you're kayaking here.

Absolutely Stunning view point! This is a lesser known place in Sigiriya but a must-see. However, the road leading down to this lake is quite terrible and narrow. But when you reach the lake, the breathtaking view and the relaxing breeze sweep away all the exhaustion. You can enjoy a direct view of both lion rock and Pidurangala rock.
