This is a lovely cottage to stay at when visiting Kashmir. It was so nice I stayed for several weeks. The rooms were very comfortable and cleaned to a high standard. I loved the ensuite. The food was amazing, the best I've had whilst travelling in India. The family spoke excellent English and were so friendly and helpful and made sure I saw all the best places in Kashmir. The location is great, it's quiet but it's not too far from the airport and close to tourist attractions. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend staying here when in Kashmir.We had a great time here at Himalayan Sun cottage. The owner Mr. Jawed personally took care of everything from food to losing to the cab we hired for 4 days. The place is neat and clean and we had no complaint whatsoever. The icing on the cake is the home made food they serve which is way too delicious to resist. We had our breakfast and dinner both here itself for all 4 days. I’d recommend this to anyone who is planning to stay in Srinagar for their trip.

One of the best homestay sim Srinagar.. as we arrived they received us with warmth and provided with chai and snacks. They made sure we felt safe arm and comfortable during this peak winter season. Overall excellent experience.

We were looking for home stay and decided to book Himalayan sun cottage , honestly it turns one of the best experience we had in kashmir. Special there food it's awesome. Location is not far from airport and it's inside the lanes but this is how homes are . We definitely will recommend people to palce who is looking for home saty.

Very good accommodation near airport. The home is really kept clean and neat . Interior is beautiful . Bed is so comfortable . We travelled 10 days I'm srinagar We find this is the best place to stay . We had breakfast here . It was also nice .
