👍👍 Lovely Cafe with really nice food. Thoroughly enjoyed my coffee, chicken sandwich and creamy Alfredo pasta. My all time favorite is their Rosy Carbonara with chocolate shake. Kids really enjoy their waffles and a cup of hot chocolate is a must on a cold wintery day. Mentioned above are my favourite... Lovely Cafe with really nice food. Thoroughly enjoyed my coffee, chicken sandwich and creamy Alfredo pasta. My all time favorite is their Rosy Carbonara with chocolate shake. Kids really enjoy their waffles and a cup of hot chocolate is a must on a cold wintery day. Mentioned above are my favourite must haves when visiting this cozy little cafe. Also I must add the service is impeccable, you'll thoroughly enjoy your time as you are always welcomed by warm smiles and great hospitality.

We ordered falafel wrap, pizza ,salad made out of fruits and orange and pineapple juice. we specially asked them to give us vegetarian food without egg or non-veg but they gave us mayonnaise with egg with falafel wrap. They did not even apologise to us for this blunder. food was average. Pizza was not good as the crust was not baked properly. Never visit here if you like good management. Be aware if you are vegetarian.

The cafe is quaint and resembles like a cute European cafe where u can order amazing food and the tea is also great. They made a really good Vegetarian aglio e olio with not the typical veggies that you usually put in. The berry waffle was a little sweet but the Brownie was just amazing. I would highly recommend this place if you ever were to go to Srinagar

A small but cosy cafe with a books theme. The menu is well thought out with good portion size. It may be a bit busy usually and that can impact waiting time , so best to grab one of the books while you wait. I ordered the club sandwich which came with a side of fries and a dip. The size of the sandwich was quite big and good for the price. The seating could be improved as it gets rather uncomfortable to sit for longer durations. Edit: added one more star after a visit during the breakfast service. Loved the entire breakfast menu.

We went a couple of weeks ago. And we ordered an American breakfast, a sandwich and rolls. The portions of all these things were quite bad and the prices were exorbitant. The pan cakes were miniscule with 4cm diameter. Are they saving the flour, like whose hunger can be killed by miniscule pancakes? And there was some sauteed brocolli on the plate and some scrambled eggs, that is it, and mind you this was for Rs 680. The Menu said one choice of drink will be given with the American breakfast but all of the three juices we drank were billed separately. So no choice of drink was given. Rather inordinate amount of money for brocolli and egg and three cm pancake. The sandwich was extremely mediocre. So was the roll. The roll had a weird taste. The service was horrible. For one hour no food was given and we asked for normal water many times, the person waiting on us would just not get it. Like ok the cafe looks pretty and everything but the price is exorbitant and the food is mediocre. Also for a cafe, they were not serving any coffee. Just a waste of money

A good, cozy place for trying some elaborated menu options. It can be good for working, meeting friends as well as just chilling with a coffee and a book. We tried Rosy Carbonara Little dry for my taste. Bread served with the pasta was a burger bun and not normal garlic bread slice. French Fries Huge quantity with awesome cheese garlic dip. Loved the combo! Oreo shake and Cold Coffee. Cold coffee was not very thick and both came in huge 500ml mason jars. Overall quantity of food was overwhelming for us. Can be easily shared between 3 people.

The food here is great but the service is very slow. It's seems that the cafe is acutely understaffed. However, given the taste i would definitely visit again.

Too loud for a book cafe. (May be because of certain ppl) but space is too cozy ,so it will be loud mostly. Taste was average. Prices are too high as per the portion size. (363/- fr a hazelnut cold coffee) That too, wasn't that cold.

A must visit place in srinagar. Maybe I could call it another must visit place if you are looking for things in and around the city. A small cozy and warm place for any kind of food person. Beautiful ambience. Amazing service. Lovely and delicious food worth mouthwatering for a wait. Danish this is especially for you. The owner also was so helpful enough to give us a ride back to our hotel cause of the inconvenience in cab services.

Decent food but amazing service. I tried the American breakfast. The pancakes were better than many I've eaten in the last few years. The scrambled eggs were a bit bland but nice in a way. They did not go over the top with any of their foods, and focussed on the quality and taste by keeping it simple.

Food: I ordered the English breakfast. For kashmir, it's good. But not on the level I've had outside kashmir, and definitely not like something you'd have in Europe. Qudos to the cafe for providing the option. Overall I'd give a 3 for the food. But I have to agree with every other reviewer, that the coffee here is really good. I had a cup of black coffee, most likely an americano, didn't taste like filter coffee. But the aroma and the roast were so palpable. You could taste the fruitiness that kind kicks in at the end of the sip. Definitely the best coffee I've had in the city upto now.

Books and Bricks Cafe: A Perfect Blend of Coffee, Books, and Tranquility. ✨ I recently had the pleasure of visiting Books and Bricks Cafe, and it was an experience that seamlessly blended my love for coffee and literature. This charming establishment offers a unique ambiance that caters to both the caffeine aficionado and the avid reader in search of a cozy retreat. The coffee at Books and Bricks Caffe deserves special mention. I indulged in a delightful Carmel cappuccino, and it left me thoroughly impressed. The balance between the rich espresso and the smooth caramel notes was simply exquisite. I would undoubtedly rate it a 9 out of 10 for its exceptional taste and perfect texture. One of the highlights of this café is the opportunity to immerse oneself in a book while savoring a cup of coffee. I found myself comfortably nestled in my own corner, engrossed in my chosen book, and enjoying every sip of my favorite brew. Apart from the coffee, I also had the pleasure of sampling the healthy grilled chicken with hummus. What made this dish stand out was its simplicity and taste. The absence of excessive oil and spices did not compromise the flavor; rather, it enhanced the natural essence of the tender chicken. I must also commend the staff at Books and Bricks Caffe for their exceptional service. The person serving me was not only sweet and friendly but also possessed extensive knowledge about the menu. Their recommendations and willingness to accommodate my preferences added a personal touch to the overall experience, making me feel genuinely welcome.
