Nice property but located deep inside off the main road. Perhaps not fully constructed elevation as I see unfinished tops of the building structure. Rooms are spacious and restaurant was satisfying. An horrible experience was that they don't have centrally heating system in rooms and restaurant which will make you cold and frozen in nights. Even for a extra air blower you will have to place multiple requests. Don't choose this hotel for peak winter when you find better heated hotels to keep you warmth and comfortable.

Restaurant staffs are very very good. Buffet spread was excellent.Rooms are large enough with good facilities except that first floor rooms don't have geyser so 24 hrs hot water not available. We stayed there for 4 nights in April 2022 with a 3 yrs old kid without much problem. Front office staffs were helpful..

This is a typical 3 star hotel where rooms, bathrooms and all hotel facilities reflect its low class. Cherry on the cake is, their staff (specially front office Mr. Asif & Restaurant Manager) who will treat you in a very unprofessional & rude manner as if, you owe them some money. On top of that, hotel's heating system is pathetic. I recommend all guests visiting this hotel to not consider it as a 4 star hotel.

The hotel is located 300 m from Dal lake. 1 km from city centre. Good location, excellent service by the operational manager and his crew. The Stay was comfortable. No disturbance whatsoever, very polite and accommodating staff is the highlight of the hotel. Big rooms, 24/7hot water facility, kettle, flask, AC refrigerator in room, wooden flooring, lift, gym almost everything is there. Food could have been a Lil better, but they have tried their good I should say. Overall happy with stay!

Enjoyed staying: location is great, not far from a subway station and only 15 minutes ride from all the sights. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. Rooms are okay. Location is very good: walkable from the happening Boulevard road. Staff needs a little training: when we asked one of the waiters to serve a dish when it is refilled or serve hot tea during the breakfast buffet, he bluntly replied 'its self service, please take it on your own when it comes '. Eventually we were served by another waiter. Also, their SPA and sauna aren't functional.

Good hotel to stay for family. But no play area for kids. The food was great. But Please don't buy anything from the hotel bakery.

We stayed there for 1 night during the 2nd week of dec and the room's heaters were not properly working but the food was too good and tasty.

We spent 3 nights in Srinagar at Mamta Grand after a week-long stay at Radisson Jammu. Our accommodations included a family suite and a deluxe room, both with breakfast and dinner included. Initially, I had reservations about staying at Mamta since we usually opt for well-known hotel brands when visiting a new city for the first time. However, Mamta Grand exceeded our expectations in multiple ways. The top-notch room service, housekeeping, concierge, reception, security, parking, prime location, spacious rooms, cleanliness, and stylish interiors were all delightful surprises. Above all, the standout feature was the exceptional quality of the dinner and breakfast offerings, as well as the professionalism of the restaurant staff. The service throughout the hotel made us feel like we were staying at a 5-star establishment. To offer some constructive feedback, I'd mention that our room lacked a view; the window overlooked a construction site. Fortunately, this didn't affect us much since we spent our days exploring the city after breakfast and returned for dinner. Additionally, the rooms didn't include bathtubs, and the WiFi system was somewhat outdated, using an OTP-based code system. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend trying out Mamta Grand for a pleasantly surprising experience that rivals that of a 5-star hotel, all at a more affordable price. Our stay here was truly enjoyable.

Grand Mamta is very Close to Dal gate and dal lake area. Hotel is quite good but the Rooms are not upgraded from quite sometime. Rooms are not as per the standards of the amount they are charging. Food is Also not great which is understandable. Food can also be better. Staff was courteous, Big shout out to Mansoor the bell boy. Great guy with helpful nature. Just keep up the Good work and all the best for future.

Good location, very close to Dal Lake and we also found a factory outlet for Kashmiri clothes nearby. Rooms are specious. Hot water was muddy throughout. Dinner was very costly. The taste was good though. They helped us keep our luggage for a week without any charges.

I had an overall good experience during my stay at this hotel. The prices were reasonable, and the rooms and toilets were clean. However, there was a bit of disappointment with the restaurant as they took too much time to prepare the orders.

We had a really pleasant stay over here. The hotel is in main tourist area, markets and eateries are nearby and Dal Lake is at a walking distance only. Staff is very polite and courteous. Food is delicious, but breakfast buffet variety needs to be improved.

My recent stay at Hotel Grant Mantra, Srinagar, from December 9th to 11th, was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the warm hospitality of the staff. Every single person I encountered, went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food at Hotel Grant Mantra was truly exceptional. The breakfast buffet was extensive, offering a wide variety. The chefs were incredibly talented and their passion for food was evident in every dish. What truly set my stay apart was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. They were genuinely friendly, attentive to my needs, and always willing to go the extra mile. Special shout-out to Shah Mudasir F&B manager and his team for helping me plan a little surprise for my parents and ofc going an extra mile for that too. Overall a great experience.

the worst hotel I have ever wondered or seen. the behavior of all staff was not acceptable and service was extremely poor. the hotel was not worth it as per the charges. the heaters were not working properly. they are not able to provide jain food so not recommended for jain people. the taste of food was awful. the owner of the hotel has not maintained neither the staff quality nor the staff discipline. cheap management and customer service. I would never recommended this hotel considering the extremely time taking service, poor management, rude staff behavior, etc..

Stayed at this Hotel in October 2022. It was a wonderful 3 days stay. Rooms were neat and clean. All staff were very professional. Location is not the best in terms of sight, but in middle of city so you have all required facilities close. Dal lake is 5 minutes of drive and Lal chowck is 15-20 drive. ATMs and other facilities are at walking distance. Overall, its a perfect family hotel.

Its a 4 start property with 2 or 3 star facilities. Its location is okay, staff behavior is good....especially restaurant staff is very good. We had 4 issues with this property during our 2 days stay:- 1. Their super deluxe is equal to Oyo room cost of rs. 800-1000. Room was very simple with no interior, facilities, extra space and balcony etc.. 2. You will have to compromise with your pricacy and safety for valuable things. Hotel staff can access your room without iour permission or request in uour absence with their master kay. We didn't requested for room cleaning while leaving early for Gulmarg. We left our laptop amd some extra cash in our baggaes. When we were back, we reliaed that our room was clean. We were surprised, we checked our things...everything was on place. But this was completely unacceptable that staff entered into room in uour absence without any request. When we called reception, they said that we have masterkey and we clean every room with our master key. 3. Although they claimed to be a 4 start property, but this hotel doesn't have any accommodation facilities for drivers. 4. On second night, our car was denied to park inside hotel because they have yo park their luggage truck their. I was again surprise for us that to park their truck, they are denying customers to park inside and forced to park outside in open. I do kot recommend this property to anyone. In this budget,we could enjoy much better proerty. Didn't liked room. Waste of money.

I stayed here for 4 nights with my family and we all had a wonderful stay. The hospitality and the service are so good that you will definitely look forward to staying in this hotel again. The buffet spreads for breakfast and dinner were the best we had during the stay. The staff is so humble and keen to take your requests and fulfill it without any delay. We also loved the attitude of stewards at the restaurant who make the service of this hotel unique and special. Thank you Grand Mamta and it's entire staff for giving us a pleasant and wonderful stay.

Had a great stay at this hotel. The staff are very professional with high etiquette. They have a very clear hotel process and offered a great service. The property must be a little old and probably they have renovated the rooms and bathrooms. They offer bed heaters too which gave great comfort for the cold weather. The room service were prompt and courteous. They have a cloak room facility too, so we dump some luggage if we are out to some other place and coming back.

This is a 4 star hotel with a restaurant of a 2 star hotel. Rooms are good, the location is also nice but they tank badly with breakfast. Very limited options in breakfast buffet. Their a la carte is good for lunch and dinner but breakfast disappoints deeply. Basic breakfast item like omelette is also missing.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Overall the service was good, rooms were clean, and you could get food delivered to your room if you have not taken any of the meal package. 24/7 Hot water available. They have generator backup as electricity outage is common in Srinagar. Rooms were cleaned each day, you can choose not too as well. Fresh toiletries provided each day. For meal package: They have buffet system. Each day they had something different in the menu. The only thing I'll call out is they say breakfast starts at 8 but it's usually more of 8:15/20 if you want to enjoy all the options on menu.

Everything is good. just that a little high in price but service wise very good. One thing that is why I am giving it a 4 star in review is that the restaurant charged 100 rs for a glass which was accidentally broken and this is one of the misery which is seen. These kind of things are usually ignored even if you just visit a restaurant for dinner only. But we were staying there and still they charged penalty which was little surprising.

Hotel is located approx 1 km away fro Dal lake. The room on the 1st floor was pretty nice though we had to change to another room on the 3rd floor due to lock issue. The room on third floor was not well maintained and there were spider webs at alot of places in washroom. Food is decent and the staff is pretty cooperative

Rooms are old, maintenance not done for rooms and bathrooms. You can easily see spider webs, broken regulators and damped walls Some rooms AC's are not working. Food options are poor . Breakfast has limited options. Hospitality is at minus level. It's a two star property not a 4 star. Only there entrance lobby is good nothing else.

The best rooms they had were sub-par, the rooms were small and poorly designed and the foremost problem was that the rooms did not have sufficient heating that was required in minus temperatures. They had an A/C which was set at 30°c in the name of heater. The overall experience was highly unsatisfactory. The rooms also did not have hot water provision 24/7. The food and the service were decent.

We stayed at this place for a week.The place was good.The staff were extremely cordial with a smile and a ready to serve look.the best part was the restaurant which served variety food and we liked it.The restaurant boys were eager to cater us and we felt so comfortable. Yasir a young chap at the restaurant was always there to satisfy our needs.They were even helpful in packing small breakfast packets during our early morning trips when we were unable to have the breakfast at the restaurant.The housekeeping,reception etc also were doing their work extremely well.The only drawback was that we did not get a view from our rooms,nor was there a balcony for our rooms.
