This is one of the worst properties in Srinagar. The rooms are expensive without any reason, the bathrooms are worse than an Oyo. There is no hot water whatsoever that comes in the bathroom, keep the tap on for 10 minutes and still no hot water. How is a person supposed to survive in minus temperature. They don't allow you to heat your food and there is no room service after 10 PM, so basically this is a hostel in other words. The breakfast was below average, they served cold. They do not provide mineral water, it is charged. The housekeeping refused to clean the room after 1PM. And for me I am a regular to Srinagar however I am never coming back here again. The staff is unwelcoming and very rude, it is insulting to have a conversation with them.

We had the worst experience ever at this hotel. We had booked 2 rooms, when we arrived here at the reception in cold winter day with kids. They said there was some confusion and our rooms were already given to someone. Looked like they cancelled them at gave it to some people they knew. Had the worst experience ever.

It's a special, rare boutique hotel. Location was amazing. Quiet and serene. Very Happy to have stayed here twice, and plan to go again. Service was excellent, especially our room attendant, Tariq, who was very courteous and sweet, and made sure that we were well taken care of.

On the banks of the Negeen lake. A beautiful garden, rioting with thousands of flowers. The rooms have everything you need and the public areas are beautifully furnished. Attentive and friendly staff and fresh, home-cooked food

Visited the place as some of my guests/ friends from outside have chosen this hotel for their Kashmir trip and I lobed the ambiance of the hotel. The park is so beautiful pure lush green and surrounded by the flowers and looks like a cottage in the middle of forest. View from the rooms is awesome. One can experience the view of Nageen lake as the hotel is just on the bank of nageen lake ...

Outstanding place to spend a quiet evening / night / morning in Srinagar, with those closest to you, away from the bustle of tourists Elite, exquisite and congenial.

This place is great! The sunsets are amazing. All the staff are so kind. It is on a lake and you can take a boat ride on the lake. Other boats come to your boat a sell you things and it is really sweet. The only thing is that the bathrooms have dead flys on the wall, but it got cleaned it out. The garden is so big and pretty. Clean and lot of flowers.

It's a beautiful cosy hotel with only 14 rooms. Located on Lake side. Nothing fancy. Quiet and scenic. Decent food. Approach roads are in poor condition.

Excellent hotel but snobbish staff. Arrogant and extremely rude and don’t Strertch an mm to help customers. Stay away from the property only because of the negative feeling you get because of staff behaviour, especially the guy with moustache on the reception desk. He is extremely arrogant. Bad Experience!

Hotel Dar-Es-Salam a good choice for accommodation. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, and overall it offers a great value for money.

Rooms require a bit more maintenance (good, but not best); otherwise excellent! Wonderful location, garden, tasty breakfast. Go ahead and book, you won't be disappointed.

A small bungalow that was converted into a boutique hotel. That is Dar es Salam for you! Situated away from the hustle bustle of Dal lake on the adjacent Nagin Lake is this beautiful place with 10 rooms. The rooms are lake facing as well as on the back side. The decor is extremely elegant and rich. The lawn is well maintained. They have their own Shikara which one can book at a short notice for 800₹ per hour. The rooms are of good size and first floor rooms give a beautiful view of the lake. There is a common room on the ground as well as on the first floor. The dining room is huge & they have fixed menu for breakfast as well as for the dinner. The food is of an excellent quality & even the cutlery is expensive. Clearly the owners have excellent taste & that is seen everywhere. The staff is well mannered & soft spoken. Our stay was very satisfactory & we had no reason to complain. If I ever visit Srinagar again I don’t mind staying here again! I am sure about it.

Lovely place to stay in Srinagar! The hotel is hidden away from the busy city with a wonderful garden by the quiet Nageen lake. Go for a shikara ride or just enjoy the beautiful property. Thank you to Mr Abdul Hamid who took such good care of us. Excellent service from all the staff. Will be back!

Beautiful and well maintained gardens with a vast variety of flowers.. there are sit outs at every nook n corner of this boutique hotel. The staff was welcoming and the rooms were clean. However, would recommend the management to have more options in food - be it lunch or dinner or snacks. The options were less and outside food was not allowed. Because we had elders with us they were so tired to go out that they had no option but to eat in hotel with limited options. If the hotel can work upon the food menu then this place is one of the best optii s for stay in srinagar !

Enjoyed staying: location is great, not far from a subway station and only 15 minutes ride from all the sights. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. Thanks for the hospitality. Thank you for finding the time to share the details of your recent visit. While we are delighted to learn that you found our spacious lobby to be remarkable and our guest service to be accommodating and friendly, it’s unfortunate that the same cannot be said about the other aspects of your time with us. We apologize for the unwanted noise and issues with the elevator. We will keep your feedback in mind moving forward as we further enhance our guests’ experience and satisfaction

Great place to stay by the lake. Beautiful boutique hotel that feels very warm and cosy, something that you won't find in the five star hotels. You can catch a shikara from the hotel lawn. They have very incredible hospitality and the food is worth mentioning. Very limited and selected menu, that changes everyday and can be crafted to your liking. All the items are very authentic and delicious. I've enjoyed my fair share of cuisines around the world but this really stood out.

Beautiful old property, excellent location, enviable collection of antiques. But....each and every room had some issue...heater not working, no electricity, smelly bathrooms, filthy upholstery,beds..mattresses..pillows....meant for a monastery If only they would look into these, the property would be par excellent Food is good but each and every thing is charged, right from your bed tea to breakfast....everything. It is ok for a stopover if you do not have any other option.

Gorgeous, gorgeous view and location. Fantastic rooms. The food, though limited, was decent. The only bummer was the service staff.

Located on one edge of Nigeen Lake, its beautiful garden abuts the Lake. It is good enough to spend the whole day there or get shikara's right at the property. Great service and delectable Kashmiri cuisine is the high point.
