The experience we had in jewel crown house boat was truly amazing. The houseboat is a fully furnished royal home which gives us a elite experience. The serene view and calm ambience is speechless. The rooms are quite spacious and fully equipped for comfortable stay. The houseboat is same as the pictures. The dinner was delicious and the food was just home-like. Would definitely recommend for family, friends or couples. The service is commendable.

Excellent location of Nigeen lake and very luxurious houseboat. We booked heritage suite for family of 4 2 kids and 2 adults, the room was spacious and AC was working although we did not use it as month of Sept end was starting to be very pleasant. Food was amazing, the boat captain's behaviour and his service was excellent. Kid friendly. One thing they never mentioned on theor website that there is a big park behind the boat , which was amazing for kids to walk and play. Must recommend as this is one of the few houseboats with AC if u need un summers.

Beautiful stay in Jewel in Crown Houseboat. The food was excellant and they arranged a customized candle light dinner for us. Entire boat house was clean and the boat crew Abid was very friendly. Really enjoyed the stay.

Although the houseboat was clean and well maintained, the flush in the toilet is def a huge problem.Also the person who takes care of the guests Mr.Abid was a huge disappointment! He was never around to serve. We had to call him for every little thing. He only showed up to serve breakfast and dinner. Also breakfast timing was 7.30 but till 9 am even tea was not served. We had informed him that we had to check out at 10 am. When we asked for a second cup of tea, it did not come at all. Also at check out time, we called him. He had no courtesy to show up. I would recommend a houseboat where the staff knows what good hospitality is!

Our experience at Jewel in the Crown was superlative. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel at home the moment we stepped on to the boat. The rooms are clean, cosy, and with all amenities. Excellent home like food was the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend this to complete the Kashmir experience.

We reached the houseboat in the night and it really looked like a Jewel in the crown with the lights🤩 The interior was spacious and beautiful and heater was functioning well. Most importantly, the food was really awesome and felt like home made food. The views from terrace and balcony was nice too but we couldn't enjoy much due to cold weather. It is a great place for staycation during a pleasant weather!

The Jewel in Crown house boat is an experience in itself. Beautifully maintained interiors, spotlessly clean, and situated in a calm and peaceful location. Food, service, and hospitality were excellent. The staff is polite, humble, and always available on call. Abid went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and stress-free. We had a wonderful experience here and would recommend Jewel in Crown to everyone.

We had a great one night stay at Jewel in the Crown houseboat. The room as well the washroom were nice and spacious. You can also sit and relax on the rooftop, which has a great view. The service was friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed a good dinner and breakfast in the dining room. I would visit again...

Awesome place and excellent hospitality, abid( caretaker) is very friendly and helpful. We were travelling with a toddler of 2 year in November end, and had no complaints of the stay, Room heater was fully functional, food is as per your demand and is nicely taken care. Over all would love to visit again

Had a great experience at this houseboat! Amazing decor and well equipped rooms and bathrooms. Heating was very good and we had hot water for showers as well. Food was amazing :)

It was one of the best experience of out life. Room service, cleanliness and food was excellent as well. Service guy Abid was very kind and helpful making sure all our requirements and special requests are met without any hassle. Is short, MUST VISIT boathouse in Kashmir.

The place is amazing no less than a five star hotel when compared to the ambience inside or even the facilities provided to a houseboat. It looks great, the people at your service Avaid and Aqib are polite, helpful and best at what they do. The food was too tasty, we all as a family loved the Jewel in Crown houseboat and recommend you to plan a stay in case you visit Srinagar.

I had selected this houseboat based on the reviews however it was a disappointing experience. This place is overhyped and the photos of politicians staying there adds to the hype. I had booked luxury suit however what was promised in the room description was not what I got. Room didn’t have TV as was mentioned in room description. Instead of the king size bed I booked , I got a queen. Shikara wouldn’t pick you from the ghat after 6:30pm in winter. Hot water comes only at 7:30am. Food was just ordinary. People stay at houseboats for an experience however, it seemed it is taken for granted that the experience of being on houseboat will overweigh all other shortcomings. Facilities wise, to me this didn’t appear to be anything over a 2 star stay. Many have said this, and I agree that if you have a short stay, Dal Lake may be a better place to book houseboats. There is nothing around Nigeen and you would pretty much be a captive for the duration of stay.

A luxurious houseboat with splendid service. Warm and friendly staff. Ishwaq , who was the host was especially hospitable. Food was excellent, homely. On demand transport is also available. On the whole very comfortable. I would recommend it to everyone 👍🏻

Everything was absolutely beautiful and authentic. The rooms are very stylised, clean and cosy. The care taker is genuine, ver caring and attentive. The food was homely and delicious. Overall a fantastic experience.

This house boat is situated in serene and peaceful Nagin lake . It gave us breathtaking scenic beauty. It’s a well maintained boat with the beautiful Kashmiri decor all over the place. Negatives: we were not satisfied with the service with the kind of money we paid for single night. Almost 4star expense but basic toiletries were not kept in the bathroom. It seems they expected us to ask for the brush and paste. I felt the bedsheets and towels were either not changed or not washed properly. It had some kind of smell. Breakfast menu was very limited. For a family of 4, only one mineral water was given rest was charged. No water was provided in the morning while having breakfast. We enjoyed the scenic natural beauty but human error created a bit of spoilsport.

Wonderful experience at jewels in crown houseboat with the view of beautiful Nigeen lake. Very friendly staff and very well attended by Abid during our stay. Houseboat is well equipped with good amenities. Definitely recommended!! Also food is delicious ….!!

We visited Jewel in Crown houseboat and had a great experience. Abid our host took really good care of our stay, and on top of that he is a great chef too. He made us yummy dinner and breakfast, provided nice tea. the facility was very well maintained, clean and refreshing. Bathrooms were clean and nicely kept.

We thought that spending daytime on the boat will be boring but soon we knew it wasn't like that. The staff is polite and humble. I had planned surprise candle light dinner for my spouse. The staff went beyond formality and gave it a personal touch. The food was so exotic that words fall short. I have never tatsed such blissful cake in my life which was the show stopper for the dinner. Thank you The Jewel In Crown Houseboat staff for making my Kashmir trip most memorable.

overall stay is awesome. Room is beautiful. Food is good. Caretaker is well mannered and helping. boathouse is in nigeen lake which is peaceful. Facilities are good. They provide honeymoon special candle light dinner which was awesome. Its perfect place to stay for the peace of mind.

We stayed for 2 days at the house boat but we felt one day is more than enough. The food was home made specially I liked the mutton gustaba prepared very well. Overall spread was normal. Very well maintained boathouse

The place is a piece of art. The staff is friendly and helpful. They take good care of your safety and preference. The food is finger-licking and freshly made as per guests taste. Overall, I loved the place and found it the best place to live at Nigeen lake. I would want to revisit here and stay for a few more days!

Houseboat- It was Royal experience. Each corner of the houseboat is crafted very nice.Awesome wooden work. Hospitality- 8/10...Good one. Food- 8/10...they have variety of veg and non veg food as u like..quality is nice and tasty. Candle light dinner with Cake for u ..is just wonderful. Overall it was nice experience for couples.
