Clean
and
well-maintained,
but
way
overpriced
without
too
much
to
boast
about
service.
I
know
KFC
is
an
international
brand
and
all,
but
190rs.
for
a
chicken
piece?
That's
outrageous.
Moreover,
the
taste
is
just..
bland
(there
is
a
criticism
that
the
quality
of
Indian
KFCs
do
not
come
anywhere
close
to
the
foreign
ones,
but
I
don't
have
first
hand
experience
in
that,
so
ignoring
it).
I
can
go
to
a
decent
Xyz
Fried
Chicken
restaurant,
and
get
almost
the
same
quality
of
bland-tasting
chicken
piece
for
half
the
price.
Further,
a
regular
glass
of
Pepsi
(about
250-350ml)
costs
75rs.
when
about
half
a
litre
bottle
costs
40rs.
outside.
One
can
argue
that
it
tastes
better
than
the
bottle
since
it
is
fresh
made
at
their
fountain.
But
does
one
has
to
pay
three
times
the
amount
for
marginally
better
taste?
That's
law
of
diminishing
returns
on
steroids!
I
know
that
I'm
probably
unfairly
criticizing
KFC
Kodungallur
branch
for
the
whole
of
KFC
India.
But
if
cost
is
not
in
their
hands,
the
least
this
particular
branch
can
do
is
to
improve
the
customer
service.
Don't
make
the
customers
wait
for
a
call
by
the
staff.
Either
serve
at
their
table,
or
implement
a
system,
like
pocket
bell/pager
by
leveraging
technology
or
even
a
rudimentary
token
system,
if
nothing
else.
And
turn
on
the
AC
for
Colonel
Sander's
sake!
