Good playground area for kids. Park is not big but playground is really nice. If you are going to with your car, you can find a parking area inside. My children loved there

Great park with little restaurant, big open space, playground with I believe the only one sandbox in town. There is also a basketball basket, and you can find some painted stones hidden everywhere by kids, but remember to hide them again in different place when you find one and you can post a photo of it on st Albans rocks Facebook page. Also lots of flowers during spring and some in a summer. But remember to leave before dusk as they closing a park and you can be lock in, happens to me and kids couple of times in a summer, but you can go out under a gate near that house that is in a park.

A lovely play area with most of the equipment by Kompan. There r climbing frames, slide on a hill, roundabout, seesaw, zip wire, trampoline, wooden bandstand with musical instruments, train, obstacle course and a sandpit. Outside the playground there is a green space, bandstand, toilets and a café. Please visit @playgroundadventures and @digibirdadventures on Instagram and DigiBird Adventures on YouTube. Thank u.

Really nice park and playground. My daughter loves it and it's great to take the dog. There's a restaurant/cafe in one of the corners. You can get deckchairs. Well worth a visit

Great park by St Albans station. Wide open areas and shaded areas to relax. Enclosed kids playground with a good selection of climbing frames and swings. There is parking in the park which is pay and display.

Great park and playground to go with family and wind down. Bring water with you and enjoy! Decent range of snacks/coffees at the Italian place on the south entrance.

This is a lovely little playground in a small park in St Albans. A nice set of well designed children's swings, slides, rockers, etc. All on a good safety surface. The park has a lovely Tea Room and just outside they sell very nice I've cream. This is a nice alternative to the fantastic playground in Verulamium Park.

Attended football match which has a pitch within tge park perimeter so only walked through the park to ground entrance seemed a well kept park which also included a cricket pitch within its boundaries

Beautiful clean child friendly park for kids to run about in. Playground is so much fun with lots to explore and I went on the rope bridge with the little boy which I enjoyed. We had ice creams from the cafè and they have a seating area outside as well as indoor tables where meals can be consumed in the warmth. Lots of parking which is free for 3hours. Highly recommend.

One of the jewels of St Albans. Great park with good facilities and something for everyone. Great kids area, cricket pitch, tennis, bowls, etc. Lovely cafe with great performances through the summer in the park. Close to saint Albans City station. Did i say great park.

One the best dog friendly parks in London. Always clean and well manicured with beautiful trees and ample parking. The park has cricket and soccer fields with numerous shaded dog walking paths. Lots of benches to take in the views. The restaurant situated in the park has an excellent menu and serves alcohol and great coffee. They also put out deck chairs in the summer which are great to make use of the large grassy area. A hidden gem in St Albans.

Large park with a large playground, which has been refurbished during 2021 lockdown. We love this place and clearly many families, dog walkers and joggers do as well. There are many activities on the playground carefully chosen for toddlers, small and big children. There's a short slide for toddlers, larger slide above a playful tunnel and finally a large slide coming from the top of a climbing playhouse. There's obstacle course, multiple swings, large sandpit with plenty of seating all around, Zipline, rope bridge and more. Not to forget many benches and rubbish bins. The playground can get quite busy at busy times and the nearby paid parking lot can often get full. There's probably not much that can be done to expand the parking. There are 3x toilet cubicles nearby (1 wheelchair accessible). Outside of the playground, there is a small 1-a-side basketball field, adults monkey bars and more exercise options. The whole park is generally well maintained and access is free. The access to the park is possible from many entrances and there is always a clear signing of when the park opens and closes every day. One star down for damaged paths, which could definitely benefit from repairs.

Absolutely fantastic park. Superb open spaces and really amazing new park for children. Lack of parking is a massive downside

A stunning and rightly popular park. A newly refurbished children's play area with a nicely kept sandpit and lots of equipment. There's also lots of green space with plenty of trees for shade. There's a cafe nearby selling ice cream and separate public toilets that are in good order. Parking is very limited but free for the first three hours. It is possible to park on local streets if the car park is full.

Lovely park. Great children's playground (brand new summer 2021 I believe). Deceptively large with the football ground and cricket field attached. Nice ice creams at the corner of Hatfield and Clarence Roads.

One of the best places to walk your dogs, it's always so clean and has plenty of bins, free parking for 3 hours and a path around park so you do not get covered in mud on wet days. Also addition of coffee etc from Italian is a nice treat.

It's my daily ritual to visit Clarence Park, I love it!! To witness cricket match, lovely puppies, cute babies a right for brooding. From past 2 years it's been my hobby to this park and detox my mind, enrich my soul and breathe fresh air.
