Nice place for a quick walk. Some people fish there too. There is a paved path way, then gravel path by the rugby club. So not suitable for wheel chairs there. No toilets either. It's clean and the kids like to feed the ducks.

Beautiful hidden place for a walk or picnic, but fishermen not social distancing at all

It was very busy with fishermen which was lovely to see. However none of them we're social distancing.

It's a good place to walk the dog and a good place to forget about the world

Very muddy in parts but always clean & lots of chatty people around, feels safe, even of an evening 🙂

Been redeveloped in recent years to be a much more open and nicer aesthetically place.

Never fished here, wouldn’t imagine it’d be any good or there’d be anything but car tyres, shopping baskets and supermarket trolleys in there. Hal decent for a walk though.

Pleasant walk around. Place has lots of geese and ducks and the occasional heron. Spoiled by algae at times.

The Cleg Nature Park is a lovely place to ramble, do a bit of foraging and take stock. The fishing ain't bad either!

The Clegg is a small pond in an area of new build houses and is used predominantly for fishing and quite forcefully signed as such. Parking is on the roadside so needs to be done with consideration. Shame, as there is a huge tarmaced area inside that would accommodate cars and save the anguish outside but it looks like it's all down to the fishing!! That said, it's a pleasant, if short, walk, about 3/4 mile all round. Lots of dog walkers and some birdlife to watch on the water and I'm told the regulars have names for all the birds.
