I
was
in
around
the
festive
season.
The
music
was
awful.
Some
niche
sound,
where
the
DJ
playing
clearly
thought
he
was
playing
to
his
mates
in
his
front
room.
The
DJ
was
terribly
rude
to
one
of
my
friends
when
they
asked
him
a
question.
When
I
complained
to
the
manager
about
how
rude
and
aggressive
he
was,
she
told
me
it
was
out
of
her
hands,
and
to
write
a
bad
review.
So,
here
I
am.
There
was
a
really
nice
young
(potentially
camp
โ
not
sure
how
to
describe
them)
he/them
behind
the
bar,
that
was
very
friendly
and
helpful.
The
DJ
was
...
I
want
to
say
maybe
a
Nigerian
man,
in
his
50s.He
wears
glasses
and
has
a
beard.
He
really
brought
bad
energy
and
it
was
Christmas.
He
was
litterally
shouting
at
us
when
he
was
in
the
background
of
one
of
our
photos,
clearly
he
had
something
to
hide.
I
just
thought
it
was
interesting
how
protected
by
the
management
staff
he
was,
considering
he
was
being
so
unreasonable.
Even
the
security
were
rolling
their
eyes
at
him.
I
did
not
feel
listened
to
or
respected.
I've
worked
on
many
late
night
bars,
and
I
understand
the
difficulty
of
dealing
with
challenging
drunk
customers,
but
I
was
not
one
of
them.
I
don't
drink.
I've
never
expected
much
from
Yates,
but
I
was
very
disappointed
by
the
way
the
managing
staff
handled
the
situation,
considering
my
respectful
group
of
friends
were
the
few
people
in
there
that
night
and
we
spent
a
lot
of
money.
I
would
never
go
back
again,
and
for
so
many
other
reasons,
I'd
advise
you:
DON'T
BOTHER.
Weatherspoons,
The
Crypt,
Bat
&
Bee
are
all
far
more
lively,
friendly
and
fun
places
to
have
a
night
out
in
Hastings,
all
in
a
30
second
radius.
