If what you seek is top of the line instruction in martial arts, sport or just self defence then this is the place to learn those things. Professor Tyson provides an educated perspective and the patience to ensure all students comprehend the instruction given and progress as efficiently as possible. His extensive background knowledge in Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai and in the physical capabilities required to pursue these arts gives you assurance that his input is genuine and authentic. This school also provides a great environment that is friendly and encouraging, a great place to bring your kids, family and friends.

This is by far one of the best martial arts school around. I've been in martial arts since 2003 and had some good and bad experiences. Some schools treat their club like a business and lose the love and passion. Professor Tyson is not only very knowledgeable in what he teaches but he teaches with passion and yet remains very humble (the way a martial arts instructor SHOULD be). He does not lose sight of his focus which is HIS STUDENTS. Not only are the classes great but they are also FUN. After class not only does my body hurt from a great class but so does my face from smiling. If anyone is looking for a club to try out do not look any further.

Professor Tyson is such a wealth of knowledge and so extremely kind and patient. I got to experience his teaching during the COVID times via zoom online classes and when the dojo’s were first opening. I was so extremely grateful that he is was patient with me while teaching us the single leg and double leg take downs. Thank you professor Tyson so much for your help!

Fantastic location, and high quality instruction. The classes are kept at a good pace, making it easier to build good habits from the start. Professor Tyson is flexible in his teaching styles, considering others and what their obstacles may be. He is consistent in his instruction and constructive criticisms, and is a wealth of knowledge for martial arts and fitness in general. I am currently training in Muay Thai, but planning to attend F.A.S.T. Fitness classes soon, and Jiu Jitsu in the future. Thank you for helping me have fun while overcoming my stress and muscle tension! Much appreciated :) Keep up the good work!

The instruction at this location is amazing! Prof. Tyson takes time to explain things in detail, is helpful, kind and patient. Also, he looks a little like thor… so that’s nice

I may be biased because this is my husband's new school. However, the Arashi-Do brand has been around for many years with many successful and respectable schools across Alberta. We opened our school in September 2016 and are thankful to be a part of the Arashi-Do family.
