Its overall a nice place. The staff are friendly ,the facilities are basic but well maintained and kept clean. Wi Fi has good coverage and are free for staying guest. The beer is good and they can serve a fantastic trout dish for dinner! Hot water takes a long time in the toilet. Don't expect any shops nearby, nearest are probably at Stuhlingen town, about 30 mins walk or a 5 mins drive

I don't recommend it, I called to ask if I could cancel because I have a little child and the wetter is not so good and he has also fever and they said yes I can, but next time we won't be staying at their place and we are not welcome there anymore. unqualified staff, if I have 10 questions, you, as an accommodation unit, must answer all my questions no?

Stayed for one night after finishing a hike in the area. I called the hotel to ask how to get back to them (from the next town) as we wanted to finish our hike that evening; they offered to drive in and collect us, so we could finish. Our room was spacious and very comfortable; the food in the restaurant was very nice.

We stayed there one night, embarking from there on Schluchtensteig hiking track. Great food, very generous portions. Friendly and caring hosts. Cosy, rustic decor. One downside was our bathroom didn't have a steam vent so smelled a bit stale and mouldy, all surfaces were dripping wet from shower steam and didn't dry overnight.

If it wasn't for 'ruhetag' at the gasthof we were staying at, we never would've discovered this place. Great traditional Black Forest cooking, lovely atmosphere, amazing friendly staff. Best of all, the various homemade desserts are being presented at your table. No need telling you'll find them hard to resist. Anyhow, indulging won't leave you disappointed, to say the least. All in all a visit to remember.

Biker are welcome, good and comfortable bed and breakfast, restaurant with good local products, friendly Staff and so i recommend this Location for everybody
