I used to be a patient under Dr.Amna, and didn't have the best experience. I always had to wait past my appointment time; in one case I waited almost an hour past my time before being seen. This was as a patient, not as a walk in. It felt like my concerns were not being addressed. The receptionists were not kind, and it felt like you were asking them to do something extra whenever you needed them. I ended up leaving to find a new doctor. I almost always left the office feeling unhappy. I would give this doctor's office a 2-star rating at this point. However, I've come back to see the new doctor, Dr. Huda. She is amazing and I'm very happy with her. She takes the time to go through all your concerns and answers any questions kindly. The new receptionists are also very kind. These two things were enough to change my perspective on the office as a whole.

Today i visited health centre for my 15 month sick kid's checkup. The receptionist with blunt bob hair cut and tattoo on her neck stopped me and my wife to go inside to see doctor and told us that only one 1 person is allowed with kid. But before she sent her all 5 known family members together inside in one room for doctor checkup. If it's a rule that only 1 can go inside then it should be for everyone. We been to this health centre for almost 2 years.Really Disappointed with her rude behavior and not following the rule by herself (sending her known 5 people together in 1 room ) and forcing it on other patients. Management should look into it since rules should be same for everyone. Thanks

Where do I begin? This walk-in clinic/ family practice is the most incompetent, unorganized, and unethical place I have ever stepped foot in. I brought my sick mother who’s registered practitioner is Dr.Amna Hiweish. When we walked in, there was only 3 walk in patients ahead of us. After a few minutes, the receptionist asked us if we would like to see a different doctor who was working the walk in because it would be faster. We looked around and thought to ourselves “how much faster could it be since there’s only 3 people ahead of us?” So we declined the offer to see a different doctor and proceeded to wait for Dr. Amna Hiweish. As time went by, we started to notice that 5 new walk ins who had come in after us, were immediately placed in rooms to be seen by the doctor before us. It wasn’t until 2 hours later that we were seen. I asked the receptionist why there were people who came after us able to see the doctor before us and her answer was that we were walk ins and those people had booked appointments ahead of time. On the way out, I simply asked one of the patients who was seen before us if they had an appointment and they truthfully answered by stating that they were a walk in just like us. Don’t start being upset when your patients start seeing other doctors and you get charged for it by the government. Take better care of your patients and they will not feel the need to have any negative comments about your level of care and treatment.

UPDATE REVIEW* Unfortunately I had to edit and update my review. The experience and service has declined over the past few visits. The doctors are great, it's the front end staff. They are not as organized as they use to be. They get mixed up. I have been missed by so many times. Even with other walk ins who are put in before me. I have to go up and check, it's happened 3 times now! Even when not requesting a specific doctor or anything special. I do understand they also have family doctors appts. But this is not the issue. It's the lack of organization! Very disappointing. OLD REVIEW: I have had an amazing experience with their team! Very well organized and only goal is to help their patients. Great new space that also offers lockers.

My daughter had a very high fever so we brought her in on a Saturday morning and they were quick in figuring out was going on. And the pharmacist was quick in fulfilling her prescription. Overall a good experience

Came in with a sore throat that I’ve had for 10 days and was told I need to take a Covid test that I need to pay for. Sorry but that’s ridiculous. This is clearly not Covid and most likely strep. Will not be returning.

Dr. Bashar Elia is a wonderful family doctor. He’s very approachable and does not rush my appointments. I am a senior and the level of care and follow up I receive, during and after my visits, is first class. Thank you Dr. Bashar for your care and hard-work.

I get no joy out of expressing my frustration with this clinic. It is terribly organized and the receptionists are more concerned with getting on break/off shift than they are communicating with their patients. I came as a first-time walk-in with the understanding that appointments are prioritize and had no issue with that. I did however take issue with the THREE walk-ins who came in after me at different times who were seen within 15 minutes of their arrivals. I was left to wait for over an hour without so much as an apology or acknowledgement for my extended wait while others who came after me were prioritized, appointment or not. I as the patient had to make a point of approaching them to enquire into how much longer I can expect to wait after 75 minutes before casually being told “you’re next” with no apology. I will be 6 feet below the ground before I return here

ILLEGAL CHARGE FOR WSIB FORMS!! This walk-in clinic demanded a $30 CASH FEE to have a WSIB form signed and returned to me AFTER my appointment. When I said no, they REFUSED to hand me my WSIB form and held it until I came back with money. This is illegal!! Please do your research as a patient before going to this clinic!! Both the doctors and the receptionists are in on this as it was casually mentioned to me by Dr. Hiweish and then again more aggressively by the rude receptionists. Shame on those who practice here and support this criminal behaviour. This will be reported!

My kids love going to the doctor's office to see Dr. Elia. Staff is friendly including the pharmacy staff. Been going there since they opened and will continue to.

I moved to Stoney Creek in 2019 and totally lucked out getting Dr. Elia as a family doctor. I have nothing but great things to say about him and his staff. The ladies up front are always so friendly and accommodating. Dr. Elia is always very friendly and attentive. He is very thorough and I appreciate him always taking the time to listen to my concerns and questions. He has literally been the only doctor I've ever had that has personally called me at home to do follow-ups. I don't know why I didn't post this review long ago. Thank you Dr. Elia and staff!
