My husband and I stayed for one night here while attending the Wine and Food Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Everything about the bed and breakfast was fantastic! From the beautiful and tasteful decor throughout, to the spotless rooms (I don't think I could find even a speck of dust!), the lovely pool and tiki bar, and probably one of the best breakfasts we've had at a b&b, we would definitely return and recommend it to family and friends. It was on a quiet street and was only a 15 minute drive to all the wineries and the old town of Niagara-on-the-lake, which was perfect for us. The hosts Dale and Terry were a very welcoming and kind couple. We can't wait to come back!

I usually hate leaving bad reviews, especially for family-run businesses but I am absolutely disgusted by the service. I booked a room for my stay tomorrow (June 2nd) almost three months ago, March 5th. Apparently Expedia double booked the rooms. That is really unfortunate, and I understand that technology can be overwhelming at times. However, they only told me that they couldn't accommodate me two days before my stay, not for any of the three months prior when I had booked. I understand mistakes happen, but not once in three months they couldn't have messaged me to tell me to find a new place to stay? I'm travelling for business and have to re-organize everything that could've been done months ago, instead of preparing for a trade show! Not to mention when I tried calling to get them to cancel the booking on their end so I wasn't charged by Expedia, they didn't answer the phone and no voicemail was setup. They only answered when I got Expedia to call on my behalf. Now I'm looking to book a new place to stay and everything costs twice as much!! That wouldn't have been a problem if they had the consideration to tell me that they couldn't host me all of three months ago! I'm sure Terry and Dale are lovely and have a great place to stay, but they certainly cannot offer reliable lodging nor clear communication.

The place is gorgeous and spotless. 1940's style older house kept in the most amazing shape. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast is to die for. Definitely saving this place as favourite spot for future travel to Niagara region.

AMAZING !!! The food marvelous ,the hosts warm and welcoming, fantastic pool and fabulous house ,flowers everywhere. Close to niagara falls, Ste Catharines et niagara on the lake. Very good restaurants in Thorold that you can walk to.

Love this place! The host are super friendly and welcoming. The rooms and the rest of the house is very clean and well kept. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. They have a fantastic backyard with a pool that you can just sit and relax in. The breakfast is absolutely amazing. She makes homemade backed goods and freshly made hot breakfast. Truly one of my best hotel stays!

This place was amazing! A true gem. We stayed here about 2 years ago and I still think back to it. We chose it for a stay that allowed out to do a longer bike ride in the area. Watching the boats go by was really good. The breakfast served was second to none. For the record this is only the second 5 star rating I have every given on google reviewers. And I review a lot.

Phil and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Dale and Terry have a beautiful home and are very friendly people. They made sure we were comfortable during our stay. Breakfast was delicious. Hoping we'll be able to return one day.

This was a beautiful stay. The house is gorgeous and the room was comfortable. Dale took the time to give us food recommendations for lunch and dinner and helped us plan a bike ride to Niagara Falls. Downtown Thorold is nearby and we enjoyed dinner at the Karma Chameleon bistro. I have to mention how delicious the breakfast was. The food was beautifully served on lovely china plates. Many compliments to Terry the chef. For us the location was good since we wanted to ride on the nearby trail. We had a really nice time at Robinsong and look forward to going back one day.

Could not have been more perfect! The house and gardens were pristine and impeccably decorated, Dale and Terry are amazing hosts, and breakfast was delicious. Great spot to stop in while hiking on the Bruce Trail.

Dear Dale and Terry, thank you so so very much for such an incredibly lovely stay!!!! My husband and I could not more highly recommend Robinsong Bed and Breakfast, it was so wonderful:):) I don't know where to start! I think I will start with the food, because it was the best breakfast I have ever had!!! A big, delicious beyond delicious, hot breakfast is part of your stay at Robinsong. The first day we had a very large plate each of delicious, fresh fruit, followed by warm, homeade muffins, and the most spectacular eggs benedict ever!!!! The home and rooms were incredibly clean and beautifully well kept. They even have a breathtaking backyard with a pool, which was so appreciated on a warm summer day! The hosts, Terry and Dale are such nice people, and this is an understatement; they are lovely! Dale and Terry are also a wealth of knowledge and so happy to share any information to help you get the most out of your stay. We enjoyed exploring Thorold, and everything we were hoping to visit was max a 15 minute drive away! In 15 minutes or less you can get to wineries, the carousal in Port Dalhousie, beautiful restaurants, travel some of the many trails, and the list goes on! Big shout out as well to a really neat little store to get a cold treat, Chef and Bub Gourmet Ice Pops! And if you are looking for an incredible dining experience with spectacular food, check out Dispatch restaurant in St. Catharines!!!! Our experience at Robinson was exceptional from our welcome, to our accommodations, our breakfast and the hosts. The home is in an historic section of Thorold and Dale is a wonderful source of information about the area. We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

We arrived for our 2 night stay today, and the property was closed. No one answered either the phone nor the door. Incredibly disappointed, no notice that our reservation had been Canceled. So unprofessional. My husband and I travel often and have NEVER had this happen.

This B&B is clean, and the owners are very welcoming and friendly, but beware before booking. That place doesn't accept any cards, only cash or cheques, but this information wasn't provided before booking. I understand that this is their way of keeping prices lower, but for the same amount of money, you can rent a hotel room with a private bathroom and more comfortable pillows. Additionally, you have to fill out a form, which is weird because all the information was provided while I was booking. We stopped here for the experience because B&Bs are mostly interesting and quite unique. Unfortunately, the service and comfortability of this place don't match the price, as well as the problems with payment.

This is the 21st century and this place is still not able to charge my credit card instead. I have to jump to hoops and mail checks internationally. The host is friendly. The place is comfortable enough. The pillows are not. The price is good. I still wouldn't recommend it.

We stayed for two nights and had a good experience. Safe and clean space, with privacy. The hosts are very accommodating and kind. The breakfast was a tasty and fancy three meal course with fruit bowl, french toast, muffins etc.

Beautiful house, large pool. Breakfast, omg, it's worth going just for the breakfast. Apx 1km from the Bruce Trail, great stopover point.
