I hate writing bad reviews about places or people, but this one i had to... I would give this place zero stars if I could. Hotel manager "Jason" or "Peter" whatever his real name is... entered our room when we were gone to "see if we were there" and "didn't touch anything" apparently. Funny thing was, is he literally watched us leave, so that was clearly a lie. The real reason he entered our room, i doubt I'll ever find out, but i hope people are careful when staying here. I taped a sheet over one mirror they had, because it was triple pained and looked different then every other hotel. I've been warned by a few travelers about these types of mirrors, so I took the time to tape it for mine and my fiancés privacy. Long story short, while he was in our room while we were gone to "see if we were there" he ripped the sheet off the triple pained mirror and all of our clothes and bags we gone through and moved. I know in certain circumstances they can enter, but this is NOT OKAY by any means. He denied touching anything, but everything was moved. I'm very particular and I notice when things aren't right. I'm convinced all these five star reviews are from friends or employees. If you value privacy or not having your personal belongings rummaged through, then choose another hotel. Something should be done about this, but I'm sure they'll do it to more people, until someone catches them red handed. Hope this helps someone.

I've stayed at 5 start hotels and extravagant resorts and this is by far the best customer service that I have ever experienced. The owners of this lodge go above and beyond what they are required to make sure your stay is pleasing. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone whose trying to save a little cash, but still want to experience quality customer service. I will definitely be coming back!!

Rooms are always clean in here, no surprises. Good hotel with fair prices.

I recently stayed here to see the falls. It was very clean and quiet. It's family operated and it the staff was very nice. It was a short drive to the falls. I Will absolutely stay here next time. The prices are so affordable too!

Cheapest motel in Niagara Falls, manager wants customers to have a great experience, will stay there again if they maintain their good attitude towards customers and keep the lowest prices.

I just stayed here - amazing experience - room was clean, towels and sheets were readily available and clean. Family run - cheap prices and in a great location to see niagara falls. Highly reccomend - will stay here again!

Great staff and the cleaning lady Heather had the room immaculate and friendly. Family owned establishment but found the one gentleman very meletone ... another lady was very welcoming. All in all. It was a good stay!

I stayed here with my family and overall it was an excellent stay. Rooms were clean and the ambiance was good. The location is fantastic and the property was kept clean. Front desk and staff were very kind and respectful.. Definitely a great place to stay and will surely visit again !!

It is clean and tidy . It was very noisy at midnight the day I stayed. People yelled and talked loudly for more than an hours. It kept until 3 at the morning. I guess it is from the new residents next door

I have stayed in other 4 star and premium hotels on multiple occasions, the stay at villager lodge was kind of the same 4 star hotel experience. We stayed in family suite with 2 queen beds. Large and clean room with good quality beds at much better rate compare to hotels. It is a safe location for family stay. I would prefer it for my next stay at Niagara.

Was a great stay with family, they provide good service, free parking,free breakfast, free wifi, and good for kids also , swimming pool, and shipping store food store is very close to motel ,

The front desk was very kind and respectful. I was pleasantly surprised by the room as I expected less as the price was low. Overall was very nice and would visit again.

I stayed there with a friend on the 8th and checked out on the 9th of October. It was a horrible 1 night stay. There was blood stain on the chair, black spots on the towel and comforter and the hair dryer didn’t work. The guy at the reception was unacomodating. Always had a very dead expression as if we were talking to a wall. Will never ever go back!!

was a great days, we spend 3 days here , staff was very friendly and kind, they provide good service, room was clean, proprty well maintained by manager, and they provide free toys for kids in play area .we were so impressed by that motel no one provided that , definitely come again, were felt safe

Nice room on 2nd floor , spacious and clean . Good ambient lighting, you can open windows to get fresh air or close the double windows for sound proofing . Hardwood floors are better for health rhan carpets

Everywhere was booked so thought we would try this location. Outside doors to rooms were slamming throughout the night, people coming and going with no regard of the time. No sleep at all. A/C and TV did not function properly. Asked if we could cancel our second night and the manager said NO. We ended up leaving and paying for the second night unfortunately. We couldn't go through another night at this place. Never again!

Great value, large, comfortable rooms. Helpful staff. Would be perfect for a family looking to save while visiting the area. The pool is nice too!

Amazing experience staying here. Super clean rooms, good quality of water, soap and shampoo, decent sized pool for kids and adults, very friendly owners of the property. Had a blast. Very reasonably priced too.!!

Honestly I stay at a lot of airbnbs, cottages, hotels, motels, boutique hotels etc and I thought for the value this place was great and I would return. The bed was comfy and the room was clean, it had a fridge and microwave. The two chairs to sit outside were a nice touch. The staff were friendly and I felt safe. Thank you for having us
