I've been here a few times and they did have to raise the prices for their soup dumplings. Now the deal is 3.99 for 6 beef balls instead of soup dumplings. Soup dumplings are now 4.99 for 6; one order is good for a snack or small meal. The taste is great, the dumpling wrappers are thin. Still the food is affordable and quick to be served. You get a beeping remote which lights up when your food is ready. Food comes with hot sauce and soy sauce; chopsticks and napkins are self serve. It can get busy for seating sometimes so takeout is preferred. Free WiFi.

Juicy Dumplings is the best place to get soupy dumplings. They’re extremely delicious and are reasonably priced. After the price increase, 6 pan friend soupy dumplings still only cost $4.99. The Juicy Pork Buns are so juicy and the filling is super soft and flavourful. Juicy Dumpling never disappoints and is a place that I can’t recommend enough!

Juicy Dumpling❤️ When you walk into a crowded establishment, you know you are in for a treat. Juicy was packed! We ordered the fried pork and steamed chicken dumplings and our selections were sooo delicious. There is this tasty broth inside with each bite! “Still trying to figure out how the sauce stays inside after cooking it.” Reasonable pricing. Limited seating but you can walk with this once it cools down. Must stop when passing through Chinatown. Very good. 😋😋

Juicy dumpling is the iconic spot that many know for tasty cheap soup dumplings. It’s worth every penny and you can’t beat the fried soup dumpling buns. We enjoyed also the cumin covered fried chicken for a change for a nice kick and crispy bite. Side note don’t expect a 5 star restaurant style food. It’s cheap bites but great taste for the price!

The steam dumplings are the best!! Great value for the quality of food, and great service speed too! I also liked that they serve dumplings in an appropriate temperature so it is neither too hot nor too dry. My only wish is that they could provide vinegar package in the future, which is more important than soy sauce and chilly sauce in my opinion!

The soup dumplings were absolutely delicious. The wrapper was not too sticky, the meat was seasoned and the soup was steaming hot. The other dishes I ordered, like the pork buns were average. I would avoid the vegetable dumplings as there was no variety in the veggies and a lack of spices. I was lucky as the line was short and the wait was minimal.

After seeing many reviews of this location I have to say I was impressed of how good the food was. I ordered the veggie dumplings with a steam pork bun and it only came to $10. This place is cheap, good, and very efficient service. Recommend this to anyone who is craving dumplings and doesn’t want to break the bank . No immediate parking available but you can park alongside the street close by. Overall rating I would give is 8.5 out of 10.

This is my kind of place. Excellent quality super cheap and fast fast fast. Where can you get 6pcs of soup dumplings for just $3.99? Portions are sizeable too. Got my 6pcs as soon as I finished paying. There’s a constant stream of customers so things are fresh if you are a visitor, you must try this at least once. The locals already know about this place and so do the students studying nearby. Will be back for sure as a go to quick snack place Drop me a comment or a like if you found this helpful.

While the service was average due to the self-serve setup, the dumplings at this dumpling joint were simply amazing! They were juicy, delicious, and exceeded all of my expectations. Overall, I highly recommend giving this place a try for their exceptional dumplings

5 stars for this restaurant. Delicious dumplings and an unbelievable cost. They were nice and juicy. Be ready for long line ups due to how good they taste and the low price. The wait isn't too long just have some patience as it's worth it.

We were visiting Toronto and just had to stop by here for lunch. This place has the best soup dumplings. Once you bite into them they burst with flavors and the hot sauce they give just adds that extra kick of flavor. Super inexpensive for what you get. They have a sit down area as well. Definitely recommend to give this place a try if you are on the fence about it. When I visit again I will be back!

Best dumplings I’ve ever had. This was one my one ‘must-go’ spot when visiting Toronto for the first time, and it did not disappoint! Super great price! I recommend the pan fried crab and pork dumplings and the pork bao! Very busy, but only had about a 5 minute wait.

Juicy Dumplings is loved for a good reason - And it's not just the affordable prices. These dumplings are juicy, flavourful and filling. They're popular for a reason and you absolutely get what you pay for, and then some. We ordered the steamed pork mini soup dumpling, and the pain fried pork soup dumpling, both 6pcs. On the side we also ordered the shrimp wonton soup which came with a whopping 8 wontons. Insane! If you're on a budget and need a quick snack please don't walk by, you won't be disappointed, especially not for $7.

Been here multiple times. The juicy dumplings S1 is just too good, always the same flavour. And the price, in this economy, still the most reasonable.

The food was phenomenal. The portions were much larger than we thought based on how affordable the prices were. We sampled most of the dumplings and they were the best dumplings I have ever had. This place had a line out the door, but it moved pretty quickly and we were sat with our food within 10 minutes of arrival. This place is absolutely worth the hype

Big fan of soup dumplings and always look for them when I travel to a new city. Normally used to having vinegar and chili oil as condiments but surprisingly the the wings brand soy sauce and hot sauce combo worked well with what we ordered. Highly recommend the pan fried pork soup dumpling. Great value and food came quick!

Love it here! Quick service, affordable prices! The pan fried I preferred over the steamed ones as the crispy bottom just gives you lovely texture while the soup bursts out. The meat is absolutely flavourful. Options for vegetarians are available. Doesn’t disappoint. The tables are messy so come prepare to wipe them before you sit down.

What an extremely affordable dumpling place!! I went here with a friend for a snack while on vacation and we ordered the soup dumplings and pan fried dumplings. I would've loved to try the pork bun or their other dumplings but i didn't want to get too full 😆 The place is a bit small, and you have to stand to eat, but overall really affordable and yummy dumplings! Like literally less than $10 you could get a good meal.

The best soup dumplings I have ever had, and I’m visiting from NYC where Joe’s Shanghai in Chinatown is an institution. Super fast service, and there are tables to sit. Glad we didn’t take it to go because we immediately ordered more. Did I mention they are just $3.99 for six???!!!

It’s always busy here with a long line because the prices are very cheap and affordable. The juicy dumplings are very hot and fresh, and the soup explodes in your mouth. The dumpling skin is also really thin and delicate which we like. This is a great place to come for a snack, or to order many items because they’re all cheap.

I love this place. The dumplings are very good and the prices are on point. I'm hoping the prices don't rise too much moving forward. Get P3 the pan-fried pork dumplings, they're really good. Place is usually busy but the service is quite quick.

Casual eatery with long lines and limited table space. The shrimp and pork wontons with spicy sauce for $10.99 were our favorite. Their 4 pan fried juicy buns for $4.99 were also good. The 6 piece soup dumplings were $5.59, not $3.99 as advertised, though. Entrance on Dundas or from the Sky Dragon mall.

Looking for a reasonably-priced dumpling spot in Toronto’s Chinatown? Juicy Dumpling’s your place! I’ve heard that this place does get super busy but we were lucky enough to find seats. We ordered the pan-fried mini soup dumpling with crab and pork, pan-fried chicken dumpling and beef balls and everything was delicious. The crab and pork dumplings were a hit and definitely something we’ll try to replicate at home. They should get better microphone and speakers though because I found the cashier hard to understand. It’s a shame that their customer-facing staff seemed cold and distant at the time of our visit. Having said that, overall, we enjoyed our time here. The food here at Juicy Dumpling is excellent and I would definitely recommend them!

It's an iconic spot, sought after for its delicious hot food at reasonable prices. While there's no table service or waitstaff, the ambiance is pleasantly minimalist. Expect some wait times during peak hours, but once you're seated, it's a delightfully cozy experience reminiscent of bustling Asian cities, offering a few delectable food options. My choice come to soup dumplings and fried buns Soup dumplings was small but mighty with lots of broth and flavour Fried buns was delicious too I safe then for next day, and after reheating they were as good as then they were cooked

I'd known about Juicy Dumpling for a while but never ventured until now. I get what all the hype is about! Located inside Dragon City, at the corner of Spadina and Dundas, Juicy Dumpling can be accessed both from inside the mall and with external doors on Dundas. Juicy Dumpling features a small selection of delicious treats. If you're craving dumplings, this is the place to be. Prices were affordable, food came out piping out, and everything tasted delicious - not too salty, savory, and full of flavour. We decided to try their beef balls as well - couldn't resist for the listed special price. It was hot, savory, and delicious. Honestly, can't complain and a really easy eat. Assorted dumplings were also super tasty and of course, juicy! Close up shots were taken to showcase the sear on the bottom of the dumplings and the juicy fillings. Now, for those who have never been to Juicy Dumplings, be forewarned, this is not your typical sit down restaurant. Everyone lines up to order, pays, and waits for their food. Once you get your food, you have the option to sit and eat in the restaurant (but note that seating is limited and often quite crowded) or you could take it to go. There is some seating in the Dragon City mall as well so that's where we ended up eating our food. On a nice day, you can easily grab a few boxes to walk and eat as you take a neighbourhood stroll. There may not be any wait staff but service was swift, no issues, and food came as expected. I had no issues with the service. So, if you're in the area and craving some dumplings, feel free to give this place a go. Just expect to line up for a bit during peak hours!

Really tasty dumps. I don’t love that everything is take out. Seems wasteful. Plenty of people wanted to sit down and eat. I ordered the spicy pork and shrimp dumpling as well as a vegetarian one.

The food is great and super fresh. There is always a long queue no matter what time of the day you go. Food is affordable and filling. Didn’t really like their fried dough stick…its just waste of money.

Heard A Lot About Juicy Dumpling To Be Fair The Dining Is Probably Bad Due To Lack Of Seats Probably More Seats. You Have To Wait I Ordered Soup Dumplings With Wonton Soup. Which Was Amazing The Wonton Soup Was Served Very Hot. I Guess Great Place To Bring You’re Co Workers Too They Ordered The Same Basically The Line Was Outstanding They Formed A Line Outside The Restaurant Yes This Is Probably The Only Location And Of Course Located In China Town Great Place To Eat At. And Basically Cheap!!!

Great stop for a nice light snack. They were not hot but warm. Made it easy to eat right away but would have liked it hotter so that they stayed hot throughout my entire eating of the Dumplings. By the last one, it was cooler than I would have liked. Fantastic Dumplings, though. Great flavor and right mix of soup, meat, and a very light wrap. Definitely hit the spot while walking Spadina.

I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the soup dumplings were! Both the steamed and pan fried soup dumplings were just so flavourful and heavenly to eat. The price is reasonable as well given how expensive buying food from restaurants is getting. Definitely buying more dumplings from here in the future.

By far my favorite place in Toronto for Dumplings, Leek Pancakes and Sesame Balls. The food is so fresh and good and tasty. An absolute must when in China Town. Seats are limited, depending on the time of your visit you might have to wait but it's absolutely worth it. No nearby parking available but a TCC stops nearby.

Yes it’s worth waiting in the long line. Six soup dumplings for just USD3. Tastes like what you’d pay USD10 for in NYC. Skin was thin, soup was hot, and they did not skimp on the meat. Only downside was they ran out of vinegar but the dumplings were good even without it.

Juicy Dumpling, situated on Spadina Avenue in Toronto, is a cozy spot for dumpling enthusiasts. The eatery stands as a notable quick bites venue in the city. As people amble along Spadina Avenue, the inviting aroma of Chinese cuisine from Juicy Dumpling often leads them in. The well-crafted soup dumplings, pork soup, and pork buns have received a warm reception, while the green pancakes and rice cakes provide a sweet ending to a hearty meal. Adapting to the modern takeout culture, Juicy Dumpling extends a distinctive and heartwarming experience to those seeking to savor authentic dumplings.

Delicious dumplings for an affordable price. Can’t wait to try more items on the menu. We really liked the pork soup dumplings (S1).

Came here on a Thursday night at 6PM and managed to beat the rush. After we ordered, there was a big rush of people. We ordered the classic S1 which costs $4.99 / 6 pieces. It use to cost $2.99 when they first opened, but it's still a good deal. Would recommend for a quick bite and would come back.

I had the 6 piece pork soup dumplings and let me tell you, it was AMAZING. The price you pay for the quality of food is unmatched. The dumplings are made fresh throughout the day so it’s a couple minutes wait but not long at all. They’re juicy, soft, and come with both soy sauce and hot sauce on the side (definitely recommend adding hot sauce if you’re about that spice). The employees are extremely nice and give their own personal recommendations as well as what’s popular. It’s a great place especially for students who go to UofT, since it’s close to campus, healthy and affordable. I will definitely make a point to go back here again on a regular basis!!

Juicy Dumplings Review I recently visited Juicy Dumpling and had a good experience. The vegetable buns, including the one with Chinese spinach and the "mushroom" bun that turned out to be filled with green veggies, were delicious. Despite being busy, the service was friendly. Highly recommended for dumplings lovers!

Tourist here in Toronto! Coming here was a delightful experience, the food was amazing for its price, like actually, $3.99 for 6 soup dumplings is lowkey a steal. I definitely recommend visiting here at least once if you love Chinese food, especially buns and dumplings! Unfortunately I will have to take one star off because of how limited their seating is. And don’t bother driving because parking is a pain in Chinatown, unless you don’t mind it.

We were introduced to soup dumplings several years ago in Manhattan and have been searching for them ever since. This place isn't fancy but everything we ate was excellent, especially the soup dumplings! Try the steamed and seared soup dumplings.

Delicious dumpling joint that is known for their cheap soup dumplings. They did increase in price but still very affordable at $3.99 for 6 pieces. Easy to eat on the go! They also have a few seats but it's usually pretty packed.
