Being our first staycation at Blue Mountain, the first restaurant we headed for was Copper Blues. We ordered the Seafood Platter for Two; it sounded delicious as it appeared. For drinks, we got Stella and the Ederberry Bliss cocktail and was pretty good. Now on with the food… We started with the shrimp, lightly seasoned and simply delicious. Some of the mussels were extremely soft that they would melt in your hand turning into a gooey mess. The crab legs were barely touched as they were still cold. Almost as though they’ve just been thawed before being served and retained more water than a soaked towel. One of the lobster tails was as tough as rubber, tasting “not like lobster” and left a nauseating aftertaste. Shortly after realizing what we were eating, I went straight to the bathroom to throw up what I’ve just ingested. They did knock off 40% which i would assume is for the $195.95 meal (not drinks) but still had pay for the unfortunate remainder. However, this meal selection was not worth it, not even at 60%. Nonetheless it was a disappointing experience and only left me feeling bad for the toilet. The server was easy going and understanding, even to offer another tail and complimentary dessert, which was politely declined. I'm sure there are better meals on the menu, but this is not one of them...

Just came here for lunch because I had my dog with me and I saw that can order off the menu for her. We sat near the side of where the Tim Hortons is. Be aware that people smoke around that area, it was extremely annoying as I cannot stand the smell of cigarettes. Service was a bit slow and the food did take a while to come out. But why are peoples expectations so high? This is a restaurant in a tourist area. The food was definitely expensive for what you get. The quality wasn’t there. The best part was knowing that my dog does not like peas, as she removed them from her bowl.

We had a family dinner today with our kids and the food was AMAZING. 5 stars plus for the food. But 4 stars in general as we had to wait a while for our food to come in (around 50 mins) which was too much. But when food arrived it was worth it.

My family and I were trying to find a good restaurant to eat at and thought this one looked the most appealing but to be honest none of the restaurants at the village are worth the price they are charging. The male server who let us choose our seats was not the kindest to us as when we chose a spot to sit at he threw our utensils and menus onto the table, however, our female server was kind and helped a lot with our food choices. The food was not worth the prices they were charging I got the pear salad with extra the protein which is chicken, and the chicken was rock hard and super dry, as well as the salad stated a white balsamic vinaigrette but tasted like no sauce was put on. Another issue I had is after having my meal my stomach is hurting and rumbling a lot, something about the food upset my stomach. After reading the reviews of this place I see that another customer also had a horrible food experience and would like other customers to know to save yourself from eating at this restaurant as you will most likely get sick from the food.

Lovely outdoor seating area with a great view of the village. Service was fast and friendly!! Prices were on the high side for lunch. I got the red chicken curry bowl which was good and my partner got the fish tacos. Portion sizes were on the smaller side, especially given the cost.

This was easily the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant. We made a reservation 9 months prior at this restaurant for 6:30. We got there at 6:30 and were told our reservation was at 7. We have the email where this was arranged, but fine - it’s all good, we waited. The manager was super rude, like we were inconveniencing her by being there on time. Finally we were sat, this was well after 7 and it was at a small little table in the corner, there were 7 of us, the reservation was made for 7 of us. Fine, obviously someone messed up, we were still excited to have a good time and some good food. The waitress comes, they’re out of prime rib and lamb - again, like this is a steakhouse but things happen. We order our drinks, she brings us the wrong bottle of wine. We ask about it and she meets us with “well, I brought you the cheapest one”. We were out to celebrate, we came to a nice restaurant and wanted a nice meal and drinks and we were more than happy to pay for that experience, we weren’t looking to save money. She also brought the wrong glass of wine to another person in our party - so now drinks were wrong. She brought us our “free” bread, which she noted was free. There were 6 pieces, for 7 people. Again, whatever. We ordered our food and informed her of a serious sesame allergy, we were met with “well you know sesame is in the building right?” and then basically said she would let the kitchen know but couldn’t make any promises. This is an anaphylactic reaction to sesame, this isn’t a “I don’t like sesame” this is serious and life threatening. Our food came, she handed the wrong plate to the sesame allergy person, and then when we corrected her she handed her the correct plate, but didn’t repeat “sesame free” - we confirmed, and thank god there was no sesame and she was fine. At this point, from the beginning so much has gone wrong so my SIL goes to speak with the “manager”. She was kind but firm, basically saying like as a manager you should be aware of this. The manager did not give a flying f. We could see her rolling her eyes, basically just responding with “uh huh”. No apologies, nothing. The waitress, who again wasn’t the entire problem, comes over and apologizes to us for not liking her service. We told her it wasn’t all her. Super awkward. It felt like she was crying so my guess was the “manager” / owner put the blame on her and reamed her out. We get our bills. They’re wrong. She fixes them, they’re still wrong. At this point we’re all just so fed up, we want to leave. We pay for everything, including the wrong bottle of wine and the wrong glass of wine. She noted the 18% auto gratuity was removed and she understands if we don’t want to tip her, which again - this wasn’t all her fault, so we genuinely felt bad She then sat at the table with us, and let us know the manager we spoke with was the owner. At the end of the day - what do they care? We’re tourists, we will never be back again, they got our money and the owner could not care less. It was almost comical how bad it was. The table next to us seemed to be dealing with similar issues as well.

Amazing service. Our server had been there since morning , our reservation was at 8:30pm and she was absolutely wonderful! Although one of the more pricey restaurants at Blue Mountain, it is definitely worth it! Our two appetizers were delish, we ordered the calamari and bruschetta. The 8oz NY strip loin was cooked to perfection, as were the accompanying vegetables and mashed. The gourmet burger was also delicious (although I didn’t taste the truffle aioli sauce). All in all, a great experience and one of the best meals we had during our 4 day stay at Blue!

One less star due to the price of one appetizer, it has 3 shrimps in total for I think around 18 dollars? LOL, Tastes just okay. overall recommended, food is good. Forgot to take the main dishes, recommend the lamb, prime rib, stake and chicken is all good, the mussel is a must have, party of 6 and above will charge 18% of service tax, reasonable based on the really amazing service.

Went for my 30th birthday and had a good time. The ambiance was lively but I found it difficult to engage in a conversation due to the level of the noise. The food was good, although my vegetables would have been more enjoyable warmer as they were not as warm as my steak. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his salmon. We substituted extra vegetables for our potato/rice sides and appreciated that there was no upcharge for this. Portions were great with lots of vegetables. I understand what other reviewers mean when they said that the food comes stacked on top of eachother making it difficult to cut the steak without veggies falling off the plate. Our server was also very attentive and checked in frequently. The one downside, is the state of the washrooms. Felt like a nightclub washroom that could have been better maintained. Overall, given the location, we were happy with portion and value for money. 4 star review to reflect the washrooms and loudness, but we will be back when in Blue Mountain in the future!

Ate lunch here and we were so hungry. Ordered the daily special (beef burger with Gouda and caramelized onions with some gravy, lettuce, tomato and onions with amazing French fries); we had our two dogs so seated at the patio; father in law ordered Collingwood beer. We were checked on a few times; lots of flies (but probably because near kitchen...) still, very pricey but we enjoyed it.

This is where we go every time we go to Blue mountain village. Food and service never went wrong. Always very satisfied and highly recommended... Very badly treated on Dec 23,2023 at 7:30 PM by the employee at the reception. Copper blues in blue mountain was a great place for us in the past. But last visit was very bad experience. We went there on Friday evening at 7:30 pm from Toronto all the way to tere to enjoy a Christmas dinner. We were waiting as there was another family in front of us. The person at door didn't even greet us. So we asked her is it ok to wait? She didn't respect us or dint even try to come further to listen. Was very rude and told my wife to come you come closer first? Then she said it's busy and no seats available. When we said is it ok to wait here? She replied that they have seat in the bar and we can have a seat there? So stupid. We are with two little one. How can we go and sit in the bar on high chair with little ones. Then my wife explained the situation. She said is to come back at 8:00pm. So we asked will you take our name down. Then she replied no they don't take bookings it's all first come first go basis. So my wife is like so what will happen if there are more on the line? She replied that she can't help. So we requested again so why can we just wait here? She didn't want us to wait and she said just come back at 8:00pm and see... Really? This sounds me like I don't care Bout you. Just get out from here. She doesn't want us to get in to the restaurant that we love to have food every visit to blue mountain. There was another family came and she was very cool and nice with them. So is she racist because I'm brown? Or did she thinks that I'm there for free food or I don't have any other options to have food? I recommend this place to all my friends and family for our previous awesome experiences. Don't think the whole team is the same because we never had this kind of experience every time we visited this place. Don't think the management is happy to have an employee who can kill the wonder experiences and image by her stupid behavior. Beware of this lady guys, who can easily mess your wonderful blue mountain experience..

We had a very attentive and friendly server. Mussels are very tasty. Surf and turf came in a very generous portion.

Went in the summer and a week day. There was lots of space and picked a shady spot on the patio. I imagined that it could be super busy on weekends. I had the fish tacos which were nice. Ordered fish and chips and the fish was crispy (a bit too crispy). The kids have a steak option and they were cooked decently. Wait staff were very attentive and friendly. They were quite accommodating for the kids.

My husband and I have been here twice, the prime rib is to die for but the green beans were absolutely horrible this time I would suggest doing another vegetable with this dish, and bring horseradish out with it. Other than that. One of my favourite places.

This restaurant is alright but nothing worth writing home about. The food is more expensive than it is worth in my opinion. I ordered the mahi mahi which was just okay and on the dry side. It was served with plain, bland rice and what look like frozen vegetables - nothing special. The steak was a little over cooked but flavoured well. We had calamari as an appetizer and they were fine, but not good enough to call them good. On the plus side, I do like that they are dog friendly and even have a dog menu.

The Fettuccine Copper Blues is my favorite, the chicken and shrimp is juicy and well seasoning, the cheese smells not good but taste really good. The short rib poutine is great, the gravy is right on the spot and the rib is boneless and well cooked. I had Shirley temple as drink, basically soda with cherry and orange syrup, I think it is good. The burgers are not that enjoyable, I would say just like McDonald or Wendy’s, not very special and not good. The meat is dry and overcooked, the fries on the side is really salty. Although the waiters and waitresses are really nice, but the food serving speed is slow and water refilling is just taking forever.

Phenomenal french fries. The margarita mix is terrible - avoid standard margarita. The cranberry / gin / vodka / elder berry drink is watered down too much. French onion soup is ok. Famous mussels : amazing sauce - nice spice, needs fresher mussels. Resist eating the bread that comes with it until the end. Sauce is so good. Crab/lobster cake is ok to good. Unique, but would only try once.

Good country restaurant/pub with friendly efficient staff. Our server Zuch (apologies if I spelt that wrong) was able to deal with all the tables single handedly. Thanks to the chef who produced our meals exactly the way they should be - the steak was juicy and my lamb shank fell off the bone!

Veggies options are ther . But veggie burger is not good at all. Soya petty was not fresh and not backed well. Staff was good , very friendly and helpful. They should work out on quality of food apecially on vegedishes .

I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was over fried and dry. The crab and shrimp dip came with 6 pieces of chewy over-fried pita. Ironically, the server told us she never received any complaints about the food. The only good thing about the restaurant was the close proximity to the outdoor stage. We listened to some good live music while eating.

Amazing food! Great location and value for Money. Had the surf and turf and the lobster and steak were done perfectly. The lobster was not over cooked nor dry and my steak was perfectly medium rare. Well done to the chef. Our server was friendly but a bit distracted and forgot to bring drinks and water but overall all the severs were friendly and helpful. (maybe just a bad day for her) Rather expensive lunch but the great food and location are well worth the premium prices.

Great atmosphere but the service leaves much desired (waiter spilled drinks on us by mistake, also spilled the appetizer on the table). Long wait for food (that came out cold) and drinks. I won't be going back.

Absolutely incredible experience. They take allergies super seriously which made the experience so freeing. The food was absolutely delicious (as were the drinks) and the service was top notch! The *only* downfall was that they only took credit card as payment, not debit so be prepared for that.

I dined here in May and and I was quite impressed with the overall experience. I have a shellfish allergy (i know, why go to a seafood place) but the people I was with wanted to go and the restaurant said they could accommodate. It was the waiters first day and he was fabulous. Very pleasant and we joked around about coming to a seafood place with my allergy. The food I had was fantastic and they restaurant were very deliberate when bringing food to our table about telling us what the did to make sure it was safe for me. I appreciate the effort. We had a good time and I appreciate a restaurant that goes above and beyond for allergy sufferers because truly a lot still don't. The food was delicious and large portions - chicken schnitzel was so good.

The place ambience was amazing. The food dishes all came out nice and finely made. The table server was also constantly checking up on us and making sure we have what we need. The food tends to be on the pricey and more high-end side so it may not be for everyone. What I also did not appreciate was the extremely long wait times to be seated. We did not have a reservation made, but the door attendant assured us that she would be able to work something out for us and have a table ready. There were several constant updates and reassurances about seating us at a table. In the end, where there was an opening was at the high table by the bar counter. We just decided to go with it and have our dinner meals there. It turned out just alright, but not the best and most memorable experience possible.

An Amazing resturant within the Blue Mountains Village, it's exactly a cozy place you are looking for a romantic dinner. It's little busy during weekend and the food is little priced on the upper side. Overall enjoyed the meal.
