What a absolutely delightful time we had! My Mum and I sat on the patio under the big tent out the back of the majestic building, overlooking the vines...just lovely! We experienced the newly released bubbly and dove right in to the cheeseboard we ordered! Our hostess Alice was amazing...friendly, professional and wore the coolest mask! Thank you Alice for looking after us so well. Every team member we ran into were friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for a enriching experience, be sure to visit the gorgeous winery!

We enjoyed our wine tasting and loved the cheese & charcuterie board. The service was excellent. We were lead upstairs to do the tasting of the wines and sat down to enjoy our sunny surroundings, social distanced from other patrons, then we enjoyed our wine and local cheese and meats. However, the actual purchase of the wines had to be done back down stairs. A lot of up & down. We were told the patio wasn’t open yet, too bad - it’s still a bit cold (mid-April). When the weather is warmer perhaps the stairs won’t be an issue. The Chateau is always impressive, the wines are always lovely. I liked being socially distanced & relaxed to enjoy my wines & my nibbles. A good touch!

We stopped in for a tasting without a reservation, and they were very accommodating. Our server was very knowledgeable (and a Flyers fan, so a bonus!) and kind. Beautiful property. We sat on the patio outside, it got very hot. Was comfortable when a breeze came through, I wish they would have opened the sides of the tent. The ice wine was fantastic, we ended up buying multiple bottles. All in all, a good choice!

We did a wine tour here and it's clear why this place is so well reviewed! We had a great time. Our tour guide Karl was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and energetic. The ice wine was my favorite out of the four wines we tasted. I really appreciated that this is a kid-friendly winery. I brought my baby and had no issues.

We joined the Premium Winery Tasting and we especially love the chocolate pairing. We tried six chocolates that paired with 6 VQA premium wines. It was absolutely an amazing experience! Our servers Blair and Tonia were awesome! They were super nice, tried their very best to help and patiently answered all our questions. The cashier Ryan and Madison were helpful too. Absolutely beautiful property. The service was amazing from the moment we walked in the door. Sean walked us through an amazing tasting and history of the winery -loved our time with him. We also ordered a cheese board that came loaded with delicious options to go with our wine.

Great tasting wines! A nice place to enjoy wine tasting and they have a wide selection to enjoy. Walk in the vineyard to see the different types of grapes and breathe some fresh air. You can also purchase some food to go along your wine. The staff is great and can help with your wine recommendations if it's your first time.

We attended here a big function and the service was fast and wine really well paired with food, while food was good, with only small suggestion to time properly when the food is taken out to the guests especially when the dish is steak and requires the right temperature when served. Otherwise it was perfect! Very nice location for special occasions.

Attended the sip and sizzle event this past weekend and the grounds of this winery was spectacular! The food provided was unique and tasty as well the wine delicious. The ladies in the gift shop did not hesitate when it came to explaining the wine we purchased as well making us feel so welcomed to the establishment will be back!

Very nice winery. I was a part of a wine tour and this was one of the visits. The food pairings with the wine were excellent. I would have given this 5 stars but the server didn't give a detailed explanation of each of the wines we tasted. It was a bit underwhelming. But a very pleasant property to walk around.

Managed to make a reservation 30mins before the time we arrived. We were seated promptly and greeted by the most friendly service staff who was knowledgeable about the estate and the wines they offer. We got the Four and Four as well as the Salty and Sweet. All the wines was good and not only that, the in-house chocolates were amazing as well as the cheeses that came as pairing. Overall we were really satisfied and glad we visited and will recommend people to make a stop if they’re in the Niagara region!

We had an excellent time with Frank here! He was new to the job and was so friendly and personable. He did a great job describing the wine and truly made the experience so much fun. The wine was some of the best we had in the region. Highly recommend!

We did the wine tasting for $40 per person and chose the chocolates. This was our first time doing wine tasting and we had a really good time. Our server Galina was very warm and friendly and explained the entire process. The venue is very spacious and beautiful! We had a selection of rosés, white wine, red wine, and ice wine. The food pairings also went really well with the wine. There was also live music playing when we went (the cellist played the Game of Thrones theme song!) We also got a $5 off coupon to use in their store afterwards. I would definitely come back again!

Would give it more stars if I could. Their wines are insanely delicious and affordable. Service is always very friendly, and offered in multiple languages. And the tasting experience, especially during those times of restrictions, has been very creative and enjoyable. By far the best experience I’ve had anywhere. I came here yesterday with my partner for a premium wine tasting with cheese and chocolates. Our server was a former teacher who taught for 30 years prior to working at the winery. We had a wonderful time at Château des Charmes. The personnel was quick to serve us and didn’t rush us throughout our whole stay. We took the romance package and although it might look expensive, it was definitely worth the price. We had the pleasure of being served by DJ, an excellent host, very knowledgeable and interesting. We did the food pairing tasting and it was an eye and palate opener. We enjoyed the personalized attention of our wine expert Galina!. She has an intimate knowledge of the wines all their tones, aromas and unique characteristics. We were so impressed, that we promised to return in the spring. We celebrated our anniversary by doing different flights in the area. This place gets top marks for their customer service. From the moment we walked in and let them know we were celebrating they treated us special. Rhea was our server and did an excellent job in everything she did and recommended...she made our day.

Being a Niagara based wedding photography company, we visit quite a few venues throughout the year and this location is just phenomenal. We love shooting at their gorgeous ceremony spot, the sunset photos create lifetime memories, the staff is organized, friendly & communicative, their food is delicious and this venue really gives off a timeless, elegant vibe. But don’t just take our word for it, have a look for yourself. We love when we have weddings at this venue and get to work with the incredible staff, our clients always leave with amazing, long lasting memories.

Posh and calm wine tasting. Lovely service and their Chardonnay collection is great to compare the tasting between three different grapes and also one sparkling. Cheese are fantastic too. I’ve wine are recommended to fast last with the blue cheese and crackers with.

Madison helped us on our visit today. The wine experience was under the large tent so we were in the shade. There was a nice breeze and you able to look out onto the vineyard. Madison did a great job explaining each of the wines, the characteristics and what they pair best with. She was very knowledgeable about the vineyard and wines. The portion of wines in our tasting was the perfect amount. Tables are well spaced apart so you can have a great conversation and really enjoy the experience. The location is mobility accessible for the patio.

We had an amazing tour with Karl. I've been lucky enough to have gone on winery tours around Canada and the world, but this was my favorite. Karl was immensely knowledgeable and personable. He made the tour vibrant despite us visiting in the middle of March when the scenery outside was understandably lackluster.

My husband and I had a lovely experience at Château des Charmes. Paul was amazing and truly the best! He was such a knowledgeable guide and very passionate about explaining the wines. So pleasant to be around which made the experience so relaxing and we learned a lot. We truly enjoyed the experience and Paul made it the best wine tasting experience we’ve ever had. We fell in love with a few of the wines and are so grateful that we came across this gem of a winery.

I visited this winery today and was unfortunately disappointed with my experience. The ambiance was very lacklustre with the patio closed (even though it was 25 degrees), no music, fountain off, and wine was not great. Perhaps it’s nicer in the summer when the patio is open but I would not return.

I was late grabbing a gift for my best friend’s birthday, so figured ‘can’t go wrong with wine’. I found an awesome 6 bottle package on Chateau des Charmes’ online store. It was a perfect celebration package - something that I wasn’t able to find on the other wineries’ sites. The package was on sale and also came with jam and recipes. Amazing value for such great wine and I’m so glad I found it! I ordered it yesterday and was very surprised to get a thank you from my friend TODAY! It ended up arriving on her birthday after all - and she LOVES it! I also received a lovely email from Arina yesterday immediately after I had placed the order letting me know it was shipped. This winery has always been one of my fav’s. I’ve visited for tastings and also attended a wedding here a few years ago. Had an amazing experience at Chateau Des Charmes, even through the pandemic. Everyone was super friendly and took the time to explain everything in detail. They came to check on us several times, have us pretzels for the table instead to munch on while we sipped on the wine. They also provide complimentary glasses on top of the ones we paid for. Our server Konstantine was great! After, we wanted to take pictures and Galina was sweet enough to help us with that. Love it here!
