It’s obvious that Candy Corals doesn’t value the customer experience and their money for the items a perspective customer has ordered on their web site. They want top dollar for their sub pare products. I guess spending $373.00 + dollars doesn’t buy you much and respect. I will no longer be purchasing anything from Candy Corals ever again. This goes to show that you can’t buy anything over the Internet as you don’t know what you will truly get when it arrives. Buyers need to be aware of such merchants as Candy Corals.

The quality of livestock and corals is unmatched. I have learnt the hard way you get what you pay for in this hobby. The staff is always able to offer helpful advice, and their customer service is fantastic! They always have a great selection of fish, even for my small tank and budget! Worth a trip for sure!

First time ever getting fish or coral shipped and I have always driven for pickup due to the risk. After receiving my shipment I would gladly order online from them again. Everything was double bagged and clasped and then put into another heavy duty bag. Everything was well packed tightly with popcorn foam filling any remaining gaps and heat pad wrapped in newspaper on top. Came in thick styrofoam box and clearly marked live corals. Everything went into qt and looks great with polyps open and loving life. I ordered a hectors goby, red monti cap, purple gorgonian, strawberry shortcake acro and a cracker jack acro. Unfortunately the shortcake rtn overnight but it arrived alive, they did send a free birdsnest frag with the order which was really nice. All in ll definitely a good place to shop.

Great store with lots of fish, coral, dry goods etc. My only complaint is that I walked around for 10 min and no one even asked if I needed help or if I was looking for something specific. Ended up with a snowflake clown that seems very happy and healthy. I will definitely be back. Edit: I came back and someone came up to me and asked how they can help 👌🙏. Placed my first order online with Candy Corals a week before Black Friday, which is probably their busiest time of year. I has asked them if they could hold my order for shipment as I was still setting up my aquarium, to which they agreed. I then added two more orders to my original order over the course of a week and then finally asked them to ship it to me. They texted me to confirm the shipment details. Very responsive, friendly, and professional. This was a large order of both dry goods and live corals. Everything was packed very well. It was already winter here in Winnipeg and the outside temperature was -10 Celsius when it was delivered overnight priority by FedEx from Mississauga. There were probably around 30 corals and all but 1 were very healthy and in great shape. I messaged them later that day and they told me that they would send me a replacement on my next order, which was good with me. I have purchased corals from many stores across the country over the years and I have to say that the price, quality, selection, and customer service with Candy Corals is top notch. There were no visible pests and the plugs were clean. Picture attached is the day after I received the corals. Most of the corals in this tank are from this order with Candy Corals. Go to store for collector Fish and Coral ! Was in touch with Afnan for a while to get hold of Yurple Tang. He was able to find me a healthy specimen and held for couple of weeks to make sure it is healthy before shipping it to me. Fish came in healthy and started eating with hours of introducing to my tank. Great customer service from Afnan and team, definitely recommend this store for all you fish and coral needs 👍🏽

I’ve been buying corals from the owner, Afnan, since early on and he’s still providing phenomenal service with a personal touch despite running a popular online and physical store. I bought a coral and needed it shipped to BC but was worried I wouldn’t be home to receive it. He accommodated my schedule and made sure I got it the day I could be home. The selection can’t be beat for type and rarity. The packaging was professional and secure and the coral itself was healthy without a trace of pests. Very clean and acclimated well. Will definitely be buying more in the future and hope to visit the store one day.

Afnan was very helpful with all my inquiries and my personal request! This was my first order of coral from him. I was very pleased and surprised when I got my package. He went above of what I was expecting. Always nice to get a surprise in your package when you didn’t expect anything more than just great service!

I don't usually leave reviews but this one is definitely deserved. I've only had a few experiences with Candy Corals which were online orders. So far I've only ordered corals, some inverts and I believe some macro algae. Everything is packed thoroughly, obviously with great care and attention. In my latest order, they even added in an little extra frag which was so unexpected and appreciated! It's really nice to see these living creatures being treated with respect. High quality, wonderful customer service, great selection and they have great deals. I'll be purchasing again!

My wife Jenna and I planned to visit a few coral shops today and started with Candy Corals! It was so amazing it ended up being our first and only stop! Jessica took the time to walk Jenna and I through everything we could possibly throw at her. The store itself is amazing, but customer service like that makes clients for life. This was my first order from Candy Corals. I’ve never ordered coral online before, but they made my order seamless and everything was packed extremely well when it arrived. Fantastic selection of corals and marine fish. Prices are reasonable and they carry all the popular brands of dry goods and equipment. They have sales practically every week, which makes corals a great deal. Customer service is excellent and attentive. They are located in a non-descript industrial area, so you need to be looking for a saltwater fish store to even know that they exist.

I placed a first time order this week for some corals and a few dry goods. The package arrived on time, un damaged. Everything was packed very well and all corals arrived alive in good condition. A few of the frags were a little on the small side but very nice nonetheless and they did throw in a few freebies for me which is a nice touch. Nice selection of corals, some I could not find anywhere else. I would definitely order from Candy Corals again.

Wow!! Just received my third order and wow, just wow! Orders have been shipped out quickly, packaged impeccably, and I’ve received larger pieces than expected each time and an absolute bonus this last time! And the bags are labeled, which I really appreciated for the zoas, although they’ve all opened very quickly. The selection is enormous and pricing is great. You most definitely wouldn’t be disappointed with any aspect of placing an order here!

I opened my box and everything was not only alive it was EXTREMELY well packaged. I even got a freebie rainbow montipora. The corals appear very healthy and beautiful and the snails are very active. Very satisfied!

A few months ago I had been trying to get a Royal Gramma Basslet from a LFS for a while but after having no luck I decided to order one from Candy Corals. My order was shipped quickly, arrived the very next day and was well packaged. The basslet was in great health. It has been in my tank since September (4 months) and has been a great addition. Very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend.

Exceptional customer service! I bought a Flame Angel there, and it got a minor injury on his right eye. Few days later, it become a poped eye. The store allowed me to exchange it so that theu can heal that poor fish. They even personally help me pick a new one and explain to me how to choose a good fish. Love it!

I have ordered a few times now from Candy Corals. With online orders, I have experienced excellent customer service. I have now gone to the store once and my store experience was not the same as the online experience in spite of the fact that I was dealing with the same person. We entered the store and there was one employee busy with aquariums and the owner/manager assisting one other customer. We waited several minutes for the manager to be free, and approached him. He assisted for maybe 2 minutes and then disappeared into the back room, without notice. We then approached the other staff who was now free and she completed our order. We will stick to online orders from now on, as that is where we did have good customer service.

Every reefer in the GTA has at some point (or many times) ordered corals from this store. Afnan has a fantastic collection of fishes and corals at his store and is fairly priced. Not cheap but not even expensive, plus if you sign up for their email updates, they like to send offers and discounts. I usually like to go there personally but have also got a few orders shipped to my place.

If you are new or an experienced salt water aquarium hobbyists Candy corals has something for you! Amazing customer service will go above and beyond to keep their customers happy. I have bought corals from them and they are doing amazing. Everything comes professionally packaged and alive! I can't recommend them enough.

Bought a couple misbar clowns after having a hard time finding healthy clowns that weren’t perculas locally. They came in amazing shape, so healthy and have been great! So much larger than I expected too! Very happy with my purchase from October and will definitely be ordering again

Amazing selection and lots of friendly and attentive staff. Visiting Candy Corals was like visiting a public aquarium. Picked up a candy cane pistol shrimp and a watchman goby.

On the good side, lots of very nice stuff, well taken care of, Arielle provides top customer service. You have to ask the price for every coral which is just too time consuming. Needs way way more WYSIWYG.

Clean and amazing looking tanks, I drove down from Barrie to get a gorgeous Aussie golden torch. Went to dip it and nothing came out. No pests at all! Will definitely be coming back here

Online experience only: I had a fantastic experience with Candy Corals. Firstly, the selection of corals, fish, and inverts is fantastic. I asked for my order to be shipped fast and they had it shipped in less than 24 hours. Fedex was late (obviously) but everything arrived alive since it was packed so well! The corals were also SUPER clean. After dipping 6 corals, the only thing that came off one of the plugs was a single pod. I am thoroughly impressed, I can only assume that a strong U.V. sterilizer is being used. All in all, the staff were super accommodating to all my requests, and livestock looks super healthy. I will definitely order from here again. Hopefully I can drop by the actual store soon!

Was a bit hesitant ordering from the other side of Canada. Order came quick was at my house the next day. Everything was Packaged and bagged extremely well . Within an hour, my powder blue tang Was eating nori off the clip and corals were all open nice, great customer service. Great livestock 10/10 will order again
