Terrible experience, lady at the front desk was incompetent and didn’t ‘sign me in’ for over an hour and a half, along with certain other folks that needed to be signed in. (Although she did make sure to sign other people in immediately upon their arrival). She was also extremely rude to nearly everyone for no reason, and for some reason, had this very weird seemingly undeserved sense of false entitlement. After all this was said and done, I sat in the lobby for a total of about 2 hours waiting to be called back to take a simple urinalysis. (Lots of people were waiting the same time I waited, but some people were called back within minutes of their arrival- I did notice that often, if a white person stood in line, she would tell them to go to the back of the line.) Minus the wait (due to the receptionist at the front desk), everyone I dealt with was very professional and pleasing to deal with. The Nurse Practitioner was extremely professional, and although I did have to wait on her for 2 more hours after being called back, I was told that it was only because she was busy with incoming injuries, and I’m pretty sure she was the only provider on duty, so I know that she was doing everything the best that she could, and she made the experience bearable, given the short-staffed situation. She was also very nice, and I highly recommend her. Overall, I very much DO NOT recommend going anywhere that a simple urinalysis ends up taking 4 hours, although the actual health-care employees were very professional and competent. If it weren’t for the extremely incompetent entry-level-acting lady at the front desk, I would say that MAYBE it’s worth the wait. But definitely not. Go elsewhere. Other people that were there on this day had similar comments toward this very incompetent employee at the front desk.

This is going to be an interesting review because I had 2 separate experiences at this facility. I would give 5 stars if this review was all about my experience with the Dr. and nursing staff but unfortunately there was a lady at the front desk (black woman) sorry I did not catch her name who has the worst attitude that I have ever seen at a place like this. She was rude not only to me but to everyone that walked in the door and if you had a question for her she would speak loudly and try to embarrass you in front of every one. If it were up to me I'd never walk into this place again as long as she is an employee at this facility. I don't like giving bad reviews but hopefully this one will shed some light on an employee that gives this company a bad reputation.

I have never been drug tested before & I thought it would be quick. Asked the desk and they said 15 min. I was there HOURS. I had no idea of what this entailed. The strict rules and guidelines, which make sense, as well as the procedure should have been explained before I ever set foot so I could have planned better. The staff was nice enough, however you should let people know how to prepare and what they are in for. Wasn't a good experience.

I was sent here by my employer to get a test & physical. Overall, I had a fine experience. Wait times can be very long though because they don’t take appointments; can only be seen as a walk in, so you don’t know how long you’ll have to wait. Front office staff isn’t the most friendly or accommodating to any questions you may have, but I guess they get the job done… The clinician I had seen for my physical was super pleasant and lovely to work with.

I only came here because my employer has a contract to use this service for pre-employment drug screens. From now on, I will request to use a different facility and pay out of pocket if needed before I ever use them again. They don't allow appointments, walk-ins only and didn't inform anyone there was a 1 hr wait time (I didn't get seen until 2 and a half hrs later causing me to be very late back to work) and the staff was very rude and short with all of the customers including myself. Would highly recommend using a different service as I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and will not use them again.

Overall really nice. The black woman manning the front desk needs an attitude check though. The pandemic is still upon us and is still very stressful for the average person her demeanor needs to lighten up a bit. She's tainting the place.

The reason for the poor rating is that I was in there for over 5 hours to simply get a physical... Appointment was made 2 days prior and still had to wait an entire afternoon. The office was closed when I was finished. The doctor seemed Efficient and thorough once I got back but the wait was entirely too long. At 3:30 I was called back for my turn And after getting weighed I was put into another room for another hour before I saw a doctor.

Was sent to Concerta for pre-hire drug screen and TB test! Unfortunately, there is not a system in place to make appointments so you are in line with anyone needing to be seen regardless of reason! This led to an hour forty-five wait time! Once I was called back, the overworked medical tech Dale was very nice and efficient! He is the reason I rated the business a 3 instead of 1!

Hey there! I wanted to share my recent visit to Concentra Urgent Care with you. It was truly a positive experience. Lilly, who introduced herself as "Lilly like the flower" , was absolutely amazing. She was extremely helpful and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my visit. I really appreciate that. While the news I received during my visit wasn't exactly what I was expecting, the way they communicated it to me was done in a way that helped me understand and gave me a starting point for improving my health. Overall, I had a great experience at Concentra Urgent Care and wanted to share this with you. Thanks again for your support, and take care!

The staff there was very nice and respectful. I didn’t feel like I was bothering them by being there. I was in and out in a pretty quick amount of time, a lot quicker than other occupational health centers I’ve been to. Overall, it was a nice experience for something that I was mandated to do for work. I didn’t feel like my time was wasted.

This place used to be my go-to. But now, hell nawl. Eveyone that came in after me went b4 me. 6 people, at least. I got here at 930am its 1130am, and i still haven't had my D.O.T physical. And you can tell that they just don't care. The best thing about it is that i do have other options that i will be utilizing after this. Simple as that.

Low stars because the wrong blood test was drawn on me, so I had to go back a week later after my employer was told Concentra did the wrong test. (I then chose to go to a different facility instead of returning there). Also had over an hour wait. The staff was friendly though and it was pretty clean. I liked having a tv and bathroom in the waiting area. But ultimately would not go back due to the lab error.

Let me say first that I was a “walk-in” for a DOT physical. Knowing that, I arrived before anyone else and before the center opened at 8:00 A.M. Regardless, it became apparent that as a walk-in, they were going to squeeze me in between scheduled patients. It would’ve been nice to be told that upfront. Anyway, the business and medical staff were very friendly. The doctor, although sufficient for a DOT physical, could’ve shown a little more caring bed-side-manner. All in all, I got what a came for about three hours later.

I have to give a shout out to Dale. He was awesome and considerate. As a wheelchair user sometimes people don't consider the difficulties of my dissability and expect me to do things the same way as able bodied people. Dale took that into consideration with what I had done and went the extra mile to help me.

Went in for a urinalysis with an urgency to “go” and they wouldn’t do anything to facilitate that. I pleaded with them several times before finally having to use the public restroom. Two minutes after I went they called my name. I had to sit there an additional 2 hours to do the drug screen.

The one star is for the front desk staff, My not so positive, professional review is regarding the dr, who would initially sign off on my DOT Physical. He is holding up my certificate because I listed gabapentin as a medication I’m prescribed. 100 mg, and he needs a letter from my doctor, who happens to be only a resident at UL psychiatry. He admitted that if I’d been on it longer, he may let it go, but he wants a letter stating that I have no side effects on this drug that would prevent me from doing my job, which is driving. Something I do everyday. I suppose my word isn’t enough. I have taken two lessons, 6 hrs. I’ve had to take a 4 hrs defensive driving coarse, get CPR certified, and a vehicle inspection. This physical was the last step to getting this job. Orientation is supposed to start this Friday, but because your doctor judged me, and took my word at nothing, I may miss this opportunity. This is very disappointing and I believe that he got some satisfaction out of leaving my physical in “pending” status.

Facility was very clean. Employees were very nice, had a minimal weight. The Dr listen to what I had to say and all other Employees were knowledgeable. Over all it was a very pleasant experience.

It took a while to get in and out. I believe I was there about 1.5 hours total. But the staff was very nice and helpful. I was there for a physical and drug screening for new employment. Lilly was great. She was very quick. Also the woman who did the physical was super cool too. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name.

All I needed was a urinalysis, blood draw and mini- physical exam, that process took 3 HOURS, while my wife and 9 year old waited in the car in the parking lot. Completely unacceptable! That process can easily be streamlined. The tech that took care of me stated that the process in place is the norm.

My review gets 2 stars due to the long wait time and lack of nurses working there. I waited well over a hour for a simple drug test. The waiting area was completely packed to standing room only. And the nurse, I believe her name was Amber, was doing a hell of a job by herself. She was training another nurse and helping patients non stop. She gets 5 stars if I'm reviewing her alone. But the low score goes to the company and not having enough help on staff and how long of a wait time it was

I was ordered. By my company to attend a pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical. The employees at the front desk were informative and efficient. The medical employees were professional and efficient. Your staff was polite and treated me with respect. You have a wonderful staff! Thank you

Staff that worked with me to get sample was very friendly and helpful, the 2 people at the front reception desk were not very friendly and seemed to be bothered with questions about sign in procedures

  • 2/5 Anetta A. 1 year ago on Google
The wait was long like over 2 hours. The waiting room was full and at 2 different points I had to stand there was no more chairs available. But the gentle who drew my blood was very knowledgeable and pleasant.

DOT physicals are always a pain for every driver I know, including me. First time I visited Concentra on Dutchman's Lane. Just great warm people. Front desk lady was freaking cool. The nurse who did all the exams was amazing. In top of everything else the guy who did the actual physical was laid back and polite to talk to. I was in there less than an hour. Perfect!!!!

  • 4/5 Susan T. 2 years ago on Google
The front desk receptionist was excellent. The Dr himself called me from the waiting room, which was impressive. He was very attentive to my concerns. The only disappointment was that the Dr sent me to work immediately. I would have appreciated a day or two, to rest my traumatized 70 yr old body. I was dragging at work.

  • 5/5 Jon T. 2 years ago on Google
Super friendly staff. The people crying about long wait times for drug screening must not know how to wake up early. I was there first thing and was in and out in no time.

  • 5/5 rick e. 1 year ago on Google
Got there early. Was greeted quickly, then they had me do a dot drug screen which they made sure to walk me through all steps of security protocols while being friendly and professional. They got me out of there extremely quick. Highly recommend this office.

I went in for a physical and some routine tests. From the moment I entered I was welcomed, filled out a quick and easy form, then saw the doctor within about 8 minutes all without an appointment. My doctor was excellent, attentive, made me feel at ease. A great experience and a departure from my other experiences with many medical facilities in the past.

From the moment I walked in, the front desk associate was attentive, friendly & patient, as I had lots of questions & paperwork. I had a work related physical, immunizations, drug testing & lab work all within about 1/2 hr -45 minutes. They were EXTREMELY busy, as I went on the Friday prior to Memorial holiday, but everyone was pleasant & the nurse & Dr. Ramirez were knowledgeable & informed me of what to expect!

I was sent here by my employer to get my DOT physical preformed. I arrived with my daughter (who is special needs). I checked in and the lady asks me if we both were being seen and I replied no, just me. She informed me that they have a patient only policy in the waiting room area. I was told she would have to wait outside. I told her that she is special needs and I was the only one with her. She said, ok and gave me my paperwork to fill out. I filled it out, turned it in and waited. Another lady came out of the office and called me to the desk. She told me that my daughter had to leave. I asked why and again was told patient only policy. I asked why there isn’t a sign on the door or a notification when you arrive, she said she just told me and that’s all the notification I needed. I asked what if mom with small child comes in? She said that was special circumstance. The lady was VERY rude and told me I could come another time or just not come back at all. This place is not good, staff is rude, that office manager needs to be fired!!!

From beginning to end it was a great experience. The Manager knows her stuff and can quickly get you through the process. Dr. Estes was wonderful and understanding. X Ray nurse was funny and made all those X Rays bearable...(Now if I could just relax my shoulders!!!! ) Clearly, I lead a stressful life...LOL

I visited this location three times. Everyone there was extremely professional and pleasant. They handled everything in a timely fashion, as well.

  • 3/5 James T. 1 year ago on Google
Was sent to this location for a pre-employment drug screen. Ladies at reception were pleasant, engaged and worked as a team when I checked in. One covered for the other for some bit of procedure to speed things up, since I was the only patient there at the time. But the wait for a simple urine sample was prohibitively long, almost half an hour plus. They didn’t seem that busy, but you can’t really tell in some places how slammed they might be. That was the only hiccup in an otherwise painless, institutional experience.

  • 1/5 Stacy A. 1 year ago on Google
It forces you to leave at least 1 star. I give it zero. I waited 3 hours for a physical and lab work. They were literally calling people who checked in after me to go before me because they said their TB test or whatever reason they were there for would take less time. It's the worst service. Then the phlebotomy personnel either couldn't get my blood or didn't want to try. To add, I filled out my health history questionnaire prior to arrival to save time and the medical personnel said it wasn't able to be found. I will never go there again despite my employer utilizing them as the option.

  • 1/5 JOHN S. 1 year ago on Google
Staff was fantastic. However outdated equipment. Ie: hearing test. I could hear people talking...i could hear rustling by ooerator outside the booth...headset was not a complete ear cover set...i know my hearing is bad but not to the point where it will knock me out of employment like this test showed and did....had i known it was as important as it was i would have demanded a retake and made them aware of the short comings of the equipment...

I had an appointment at 8 am. When I walked in I was the 5th person. I wasn't seen until 10am. The staff was super friendly, but the wait time was ridiculous for a 15 minute exam.
