    Bought my girlfriend a Luis Vuitton bag from Dillard’s from an associate named Keith not once did he tell us the bag I spent 2000 dollars on was a second hand bag that was 22 years old. When my girlfriend asked about spots on the tan part of the bag Keith said “ it was spots from “air” aging the leather and it was normal Patina. We asked if he had one that wasn’t a display model he looked and came back and said he didn’t have another one. Leaving us with obvious impression it was new. so I bought what he had. Never once was I told it was a second hand bag. When I called I was told that there’s no returns bc on the receipt it says it’s a second hand bag. However I have to buy the bag to get a receipt. When I called and talked to a manager she told me that I had to call what goes around comes around to complain about the bag. But my problem was with Dillards and the fact they never once disclosed that I was buying a second hand bag. Now I’m stuck with a 2000 dollar purse I literally can’t stand to look at I spent 4000 dollars in the store that day and the blamed me for not looking to see if it was second hand but I have never stepped foot into a mall and thought I had to examine my purchases to see if I was getting something used. It’s “the mall not platos closet or a good will.” I spent 4000 dollars that day on clothes for my daughter and my girlfriend including the purse I took everything back except the purse obviously since the refuse to take responsibility for there employees (Keith) hiding the fact that they’re selling second hand stuff that is mixed in with new coach and other purse brands. I will never step foot in the store ever again and plan on hiring a lawyer for there shady business practices. I have also called the better business bureau. I highly recommend others not buying anything from them because they do not stand behind there products. They lie about what they’re selling you, make up stories to sell you something instead of telling you the truth. I feel like I bought a fake bag from a side walk vendor. Every time I walk past the bag I get mad because (Keith) had 45 minutes while we were there to tell us it was a second hand bag. His direct manager is a joke and will spend the rest of her life flipping burgers at McDonald’s when I’m done suing Dillards. I have since ordered a new Luis Vuitton bag for my girlfriend because I refuse to look at this rip off they sold me!

    I have been their couple of time, and I got really good customer service but In recently I went to men side to buy a perfume and the service was not that good as I got before. That lady suppose to show us a perfume. Instead she started taking with some, she totally ignored us and I feet left over in the middle of buying process. I used to work in the customer service too, so, I know how to make customer feel easy and comfortable. I really feel you guys don’t care about customers. Especially that lady. She said she is from Africa and taping table is rude. Also, she need to know ignoring customer is bad for business. She don’t care about business instead she care about how her culture should be showed off. I didn’t come to your store to know how your employees cultures are, I went to shop. I don’t feel comfortable during the shipping. Thank you.

    When visiting the mall Saint Matthews, Dillards is absolutely a department store that you you must stop in and visit. I am always greeted with a very warm, welcome and friendly smile from the staff who are more than helpful and surely able to find you just what you’re looking for when in need of some new fashion. They have an extensive selection of brands, designer, and local with amazing clearance sales almost every time I visit. When visiting the mall, Saint Matthews, I would absolutely make it a must stop shop as they offer great styles and brands add almost unbeatable prices. Every time I visit it is always a pleasant experience.

    I went up there to browse around the fragrance counter one of the lady (African maybe French decent) keep being too pushy like she want me buy something as I make my way to the Tom ford and Thomas kosmala (the expensive fragrance) she was too eager to want me to by one of the fragrance. For what? Commission? I don’t appreciate the way she acted towards me this isn’t the first time I have encountered with her.

    Nice Dillard's on the opposite side of the highway from the other Dillard's. Strange they would have two that close to each other but I like this side better it's not as busy

    Bought Polo cologne as a Christmas gift for someone, found out they already had that fragrance. No big deal, I thought, there are 100 different Polo fragrances, I'll just exchange it. They wouldnt let me. I was told that since I bought it on sale, and it wasnt on sale anymore, there was nothing to exchange it for. The other fragrances are literally the same exact price!!! All I wanted was an even exchange, they explained they could give me a refund, but I'd have to pay a $50 difference to get a bottle of equal value. No thanks!!! Very disappointed as I've bought alot, and I mean alot, of cologne from this place. Never again. Edit: I'm not emailing you, I cancelled my Dillards card. Remember, the customer is always right, I'll order direct from the supplier from now on. I didnt post this for you to make it right, I posted to let you know where you failed.

    HUGE Dillards store with lots of departments. The men’s section had a huge inventory of items including great sale items. They had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend!

    This is my mother in laws favorite store to go shopping with for shoes or purses! They have great brands and everyone is so nice and willing to ask if we need anything! We have bought several purses from here and they are great quality!

    Big store. They had four tailored dress shirts in my size (great men's drpartment). My wife tried on 9 dresses. The fact she could find that many in her size that interested her is also amazing. Finally, we found lots of helpful workers eager to assist. Now the "down side," we waited 1hr for the store to open @ 11am!?!? 11am? What's next? Close on days that start with a "T" or an "S?" There were about a hundred people walking the mall waiting for stores to open.

    There is a large man wearing make up and in a dress awkwardly walking in high heels in the hand bag dept , who is Dillards employee. Most 80%(not all ) staff in clothing departments speak broken English. There was another employee in coat dept that I had to ask if she worked there because her speech and approach was so strange. [I] like many woman want to browse and enjoy a SHOPPING experience . I like to consider different pieces and coordinate different ideas into my wardrobe in a peaceful, female environment . If and when I need help I know how to ask or gesture politely without being interrupted every 20 ft. And to define in more detail... It felt like being hustled at a flea market. Dillards once had a certain decorum, expectation and standards. For whatever reason they clearly have lost it.

    Went to the men’s Dillards at the St Matthews mall which I always have a fine time there but today I was approached by a lady twice asking if I was “okay” and she was staring at me for the next 10 minutes then approached me for the third time and told me that someone said I was putting stuff in my bag to which I told her she can check and she said “oh well i don’t know i am just checking”. Never going back. This lady has long dark brown/black hair and usually is never helpful when I am shopping there. Just always makes the shopping uncomfortable. I don’t recommend this Dillards to anyone who doesn’t want to be accused of stealing.

    Very good department store. No e selection and the staff is very friendly. Also the store has a great big and tall section with a lot of tall options. Most big and tall depts are more big with an occasional tall. This place actually has a lot of tall options.

    Dillards is basically the only department store we shop. The variety of brands is good and inventory is adequate, especially since COVID (and online shopping) have had a negative impact on shopping malls and department stores. Everything is covered from shoes to sporting and casual clothing to dress apparel and there is a variety for all types of shoppers.

    My daughter and I came to Dillard's for a casual dress. Ended up meeting Whitney in Beauty/Fragrances. Whitney was very friendly, customer service was 10 stars, she greeted everybody that walked by with a friendly smile. If you're looking for fragrance go see Whitney! Thank you Whitney!

    Absolutely amazed with the massive selection of professional wear, bags, clutches, makeup, and shoes. The lady that helped us, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We originally went to JC Penny and the selection was horrible for anyone looking for professional wear.

    Pearl, in ladies formal wear on the 2nd floor, is an absolute treasure! She was incredibly helpful and so sweet. You can truly see she loves her job.. I inquired about how long she’s been in retail, almost 40 years she said! I splurged a bit on the jumpsuit for my upcoming event, but justify it because my shopping experience was so pleasant. Go see Pearl!

    Great selection on shoes, but they didnt have the shoe style I was interested in, in my size. Also, the bathrooms were disgusting. I cannot express just how disgusting they were. Also, there was one or 2 stalls closed. Taped and labeled. And there seemed to have been some of the other stalls that were closed, but the doors had tape residue still on them. This is nothing compared to how filthy the bathroom was. But for a store as nice and as expensive as Dillarda, it gives a broken-down,filthy, interstate gas station bathroom vibe. Yuck.

    Tried to return a pair of 2XL sweatpants from the brand LRG because I read the tag wrong and got the wrong size. Already ripped the tags off, and no one gave me a receipt. I tried to return them within 1 week of purchase. They claimed they looked dirty and had dirt on them, and they look worn. I never once wore the pants and they sat there in the same spot all week untouched. A woman named Denise gave me the most rude, judgmental, and despicable look as if I was trying to steal when I was just trying to exchange the pants for some in my size. I won't be going back, and I'll be sure to tell everyone about the way these employees treat their customers. Never again

    Margaret the manager in mens/ mens shoes is downright disrespectful and rude. Clearly the days of excellent customer service are gone, especially with Dillards across the board. As a former employee for many years, this is not the way we treated customers ever. By the way customers are treated and not assisted, I can only assume the SPH is no longer.

    Out of the Jo Malone I wanted but gave free samples of some others. I buy designer bags directly from the retailer online. But out of curiosity I asked a sales person how much a LV bag was they were selling. They were rude. Look, I have been IN a LV store so I have no clue why a Dillard's employee would act snobby selling LV bags. It is Dillards! They also keep Brahmin chained up lol as if someome would steal a cheap Coach - quality bag. It was really weird.

    Gone are the days of department stores being a luxurious experience. Between the dust, the empty shelves, the very dressed down employees, the employees yelling at young black kids to leave their section, the employees not greeting with a smile, it's just so disappointing.

    Excellent men's store, plenty of suits for nearly every occasion. I was there to find hats suitable for a wedding and found the perfect ones. I recommend this place highly.

    Haven't been here in a few years. Remodel more open and spacious. Clerks friendly and helpful. Looking for poly/cotton long sleeve blouse w/collar. Found a couple, Calvin was $85 and another $75🤨. Thanks but NO! Didn't see sale racks nor clearance. Bought earrings on sale!! Good old days are gone??

    I shop in the big and tall section. Love the two regular employees there.. An older woman and gentleman. So friendly, positive and helpful. Companies don't get reviews... employees do.. and these two are awesome. Wish I knew their names.

    Went to shop before Christmas. Was approached by a saleswoman with chanel. She helped me with a few selections. At the point of ringing items up I asked the price of coco before I bought it. Was told 180 dollars. That was more than I had planned on spending since it wasn't the only item I was buying. She thought it was hilarious that I wanted a smaller version/less expensive size. I didn't get the joke and walked away. I felt belittled and made fun of. I bought a watch from the accessory department and decided to exchange it. When I went back after Christmas the saleswoman took my watch and decided I didn't have a sticker on the box so it would be a problem. I then produced the receipt and upon further inspection she found the sticker. Instead of offering to help select a different watch she marched over to the checkout and proceeded to beckon me to follow her I asked to look at another watch but her time was better spent rushing my refund. These two interactions were a terrible experience and I will probably not be going back to Dillard's except to walk through the store to get inside the mall
