What a great bar. I managed to snag the last seat at the bar, otherwise standing room only on a busy Thursday evening. Cool concept- choose a beer and it comes paired with a shot of whiskey and fresh bread and butter. Pickles too! I’m going back next time I’m in Hamburg!

Wow! A very calm and cosy place. It’s tiny but with such great flair. The target group is aged between 30-45 I would say.

We were lucky enough to get a seat in this little bar at an advanced hour. The range of different beers and hard drinks is impressive. Personally, I liked the La Chouffe and the La Trappe Dubbel the best. A small but mighty location.

It's one of the nicest bars in Hamburg. The ambient is really cool, with the deemed light and wall arts it gives an interesting vibe. Place can be a little darker shade but feels good. Definitely gets full, and it is a small place. One of the fewest places that serves "Herrengedeck." Herrengedeck is a combo with beer of choice that comes with a schnap, bread, and pickles on the side. They got really good beers on the tap, and the cocktails are also well prepared. The staff is very friendly and they also speak english. The only thing I miss is I wish they would also serve fries with the beers. But no. Nevertheless, that does not change my eagerness to go there.

Reccommend! Very much enjoyed the Herrengedeck selections (not just for gentlemen), which is beer and liquor pairing with bread, butter and pickles. Great value! Good beer selection, cool atmosphere! Overall, very nice experience. Menu is in German, but staff was nice enough to explain in English. Thank you to Rose and Kareem for friendly and accommodating service! If you like beer, this is a must try in Hamburg.

Lovely bar where you can sit and watch people! The waitress is lovely, fast and helpful. The drinks are ice cold (our fruit beer is served with ice, which might be not pleasing to some people) and can act well as nice entrance to your adventurous night. Beer costs around 3.5-5€, mixed drinks around 8-14€ and they have hkmemade Schnapps too around 3-4€. Bread is good, but 3€ for a small portion of pretty loose and mediocre humus is not worth it. The seats are currently available outside but doesn't feel too crowded with the pedestrians on the pavement. The music really sets the vibe well and we have no idea where they put the speakers, but well done!

The waiters were extremely nice and helpful, they helped us find a seat woth smiles on their faces on a crowded night, it was very much appreciated. The lemon cheescake cocktail was delicious to me 💕

My favorite bar in Hamburg. Been coming here consistently for the past two years and the beer selection is great. The clientele are also nice. I left my sunglasses at the bar table and forgot about it for two months, but someone handed it in and I was promptly given it back the next time I came around.

I really liked my Wednesday evening in this bar (June 2023). Posting this review a bit late but I really wanted to highlight the nice concept of beer, shot, 🍞, 🥒 & 🧈 menus which I found quite special compare to other bars in Hamburg. Moreover not sure if it changed but the barman who served us was quite nice and knew quite a lot about the beers they were proposing which is not always the case in other bars 😊

Quite nice atmosphere and I liked the idea of combining a typical German "Gedeck" with a small snack. The only think that deranged me a bit was the price above 10 bugs.

Great bar with nice bar tenders. We had a couple of gin tonics and tap beer. Great location with good spirit.

Great beer, friendly clientele, even friendlier people working here. The bread is so tasty, and the prepared combinations they do with cornichons, shots, drink and the all important baker's bread are absolutely delicious, and fairly reasonably priced

One of the best bars in Hamburg with vide assortment of alkohol and cocktails! Great location, good atmosphere inside and perfect crew and service! Must visit in Hamburg! Try “Nordic cherry” cocktail, you will not regret, promise!

I was really looking forward to taste some interesting beers. Staff was super friendly in helping to pick some for a flight. The beers, unfortunately, were average at best. Not unusual, but nothing I tasted makes me want to come back.

Greatest bar in Hamburg. The cocktails are all delicious and the Bartender is amazing. I personally enjoy sitting at the bar and watching the bartender do the magic. That was I get to ,try most cocktails on the menu based on the presentation. My old time favourite is the "Gold Digger".

Was there last Saturday. The place has character, good music and for sure great cocktails! The service from the waitress was outstanding! 100% Recommend!

Location is nice, but cocktails are pricey for what you get and unfortunately very inconsistent - 2 out of 4 cocktails tasted completely off and were barely drinkable

There is a lady at the bar who is very polite, I believe she works with passion because when I asked her, she said not to do this for the money, lucky for any place to hire her. She's so pretty, tall, and has such a good heart! Forgot her name but she looks like actress Anne Hathaway. Definitely will comeback in August next year!
