Jesus
Christ,
THE
most
egotistical
shop
owner
I
have
ever
met.
His
energy
sucks
you
dry
and
leaves
you
with
a
bad
taste
in
your
mouth.
Upon
walking
in,
this
guy
begins
to
mansplain
to
me
that
this
is
the
ONLY
Vintage
store
of
its
kind
and
verbatim
said
“I
bet
you
have
never
been
to
a
store
like
this..
where
things
are
ACTUALLY
vintage”
*eyeroll*
surprise:
I
frequent
ACTUAL
vintage
stores
across
the
globe
-
not
just
thrift
-
frequently,
and
when
I
informed
him
there
were
plenty
in
New
York,
he
scoffed
and
proceeded
to
list
some
random
thrift
stores
(not
vintage)
and
bash
them.
Does
he
not
realize
that
NYC
is
one
of
THE
vintage
shop
capitals
of
the
world…?
At
one
point,
after
I
informed
him
that
yes,
I
have
been
in
many
vintage
stores
like
this,
he
said
“Well
I
guess
you
also
make
millions
selling
vintage
huh?”
Excuse
me
what?
When
did
I
say
that?
Sad
that
he
feels
threatened
by
me,
and
what
an
embarrassing
thing
to
even
try
to
say
to
try
to
belittle
me.
I
found
a
belt
that
I
immediately
recognized
in
terms
of
brand
(and
have
bought
similar
pieces
sourcing
them
myself
online),
and
because
I
knew
of
this
brand,
I
knew
the
price
he
told
me
was
much
higher
than
I
have
paid
when
sourcing
myself.
He
got
sooo
offended
when
I
put
the
belt
back
after
asking
for
the
price.
He
would
not
stop
talking
to
me
as
I
was
walking
through
the
store,
making
this
a
very
unpleasant
interaction.
This
man
reeks
of
insecurity,
and
he
is
clearly
overcompensating.
I
suggest
he
keep
his
ego
in
check,
because
his
selling
strategy
is
probably
the
worst
one
I
have
ever
encountered
anywhere.
