In a sad state - this gym could be so much nicer. Staff is only mediocre, some are friendly, some have a personality like a loaf o’ bread. But Men’s locker is filthy !!!

Not crowded, equipment in good shape. However, staff is disinterested and flooring/equipment are both very dirty. 30 minute room has not been vacuumed in at least two weeks (been looking at the same dirt on the floor). All equipment dusty/dirty. It's a surprise as every other planet fitness I've been in has always been spotless. Would give it 5 stars if they would clean.

Great gym but they really need to expand the weight/cable/smith machine area with mirrors bc it quickly gets taken up. The gym is predominantly taken over by treadmills and machines that are mostly not used. Would greatly appreciate you looking into this suggestion.

Always clean. Friendly staff. The massage beds and chairs are a great plus after a long workout. There’s plenty of sanitation stations around to clean equipment after use! Only ever have trouble getting equipment when it’s super busy in the afternoons. They also have clean changing areas, bathrooms, showers, and locker rooms. The gym is organized and easy to navigate for people just starting their fitness journey.

Frequently overcrowded and limited plate loading equipment. Not enough equipment options considering the volume of membership and the discourteous that sit idly on a machine, scrolling on their telephones. An overabundance of cardio equipment that should be swapped out for additional weight resistance equipment.

I really wish they’d go back to true 24hours, which is the reason I joined. Some support bars in the restroom and showers would be great. People trying to regain their fitness can have balance issues. But I’m really here to express my disappointment at the response below where the Owner isn’t going to address a situation they’re now aware of, but making it the Reviewer’s responsibility!

Did PF in Ohio for 2yrs, moved here thinking I'd cancel. But OMG, this PF is so much nicer, cleaner&staff sure made me feel at home. Definitely a place I like to go to.

I think it’s a nice touch to be greeted as you enter an establishment bc most ppl don’t value a simple hello! But PF Covington is by far one of my favorites and I have traveled and visited multiple locations and still enjoy returning home to my original location. I absolutely love taking the core strength and lower body classes with Joe! She is awesome when it comes to motivating you to meet fitness goals. She has help me personally meet my weight loss goal of 60lbs!! 🥰

Great atmosphere with high ceilings, and well air conditioned spacious gym. Large selection of excellent machines. Love the relaxed “No judgement “ atmosphere. Also value the app which lets you know if the gym is busy at the moment. I find that the majority of the times I go there are enough machines that I don’t have to wait. My husband feels that the exercise equipment is the best of any gym he has belonged to. Also appreciate the outreach to youth with the free summer program for teens 14-19.

Love that this location is so large, has a ton of equipment that even if it is busy it doesn't seem that way! I prefer the mornings over evenings, I love that I never have to wait to use either the tanning, red light therapy or the massage beds! The staff has always been so friendly as well

I love the staff, they are my besties. this one cool dude during the day shift with red hair advocated for me while I was doing my thing on the treadmill, talking real loud, and I appreciate that man for real. I think his name is Mark? anyways, coming here really boosts my self esteem so thank y'all for facilitating a safe space for growth and strength.

The employees are all so friendly, & I like general vibe at PF. It puts me in a good mood, even when I'm not particularly feeling like working out. Also, I like that there are so many different types of equipment -- cardio, weights, hydromassage -- PF has it all!

Nice facility but the shower area is inadequately small and there is no hot water. There is no place to put your soap or shampoo, except on the ground. Who wants to take a cold shower and put their hygieneproductson the ground? 🥶🤮👎

Friendly staff, they always make you feel welcome. You never have to wait to use the equipment. The gym is always clean. I love the Hydro massage chairs.

This is a very affordable and good gym. Avoid going on Mondays though because they are slam PACKED hehe. But yeah i love their massage chairs too. If you are looking for a good affordable gym this is the place to go however i am ab to go join the rich people at Pelican Athletic club because that is where my friends work out lollllll

Planet fitness is affordable, has everything you need on the black card membership for 30 bucks a month, and a friend can take advantage of your membership anytime you go! Enough weights and workout equipment to really get you jump-started with your fitness goals, and they're open 24/7!! Wow.
