Code lock outside the building has been broken for months, easy fix and serious security concern One of the two treadmills has been broken for months and the other is frequently out of order. Water filter status has been on red for months Small things that are poor reflections in upkeep. Would love to see the seating area stay open even when the pool closes for the season. The fall weather is so nice around here it’s a real shame not to be able to enjoy it when your apartment doesn’t have outdoor space

Artesia is the best luxury building I have ever lived in. The management staff (Julie, Claudia, & Eileen) are so amazing, professional and friendly! The Maintenance and cleaning staff go above and beyond to keep the building beautiful and clean and to respond to any issues within the building immediately. Highly recommendable!

Overall one of the nicer places in that area, issues are being addressed quickly. Good enough gym and pool area.

Best place I have ever lived! This is an absolutely beautiful apartment complex with the sweetest property management --- Claudia. She has made the whole process from day 1 to the end so pleasant and everything just went super smooth. She really went out her way to ensure the residence gets the best experience and receive what they needs! This apartment is just nice both inside and out. Really worth every penny of the rent to live here! The neighbors are also very nice and sweet! In terms of safety, this is a super friendly and safe area, never felt any unease living here as a single lady. Highly recommend anyone who is looking for apartment to live in this area! Definitely the best!

I agree with many reviews on this page. Artesia declined RAPIDLY over the last 12 months. Poor management led to forced new hires, and the complex NEVER recovered. Un-manicured lawns, trash not regularly picked up, trash piled at dumpsters ROTTING. Light fixtures that hung in exterior stairwells for months not fixed. Our building had no lights in the stairwell- complete darkness-for 12 days, despite many maintenance requests, voicemails. It was not fixed until the Vice President of First Lake had to get involved. Ponds are covered in algae. The pictures that are shared on their social media do not accurately reflect the condition of this property. Many residents complained, which prompted the parish councilman to get involved and issue a warning to clean up trash on property. Rodents were found scuttling the parking lot. A very expensive apartment- little to no bang for your buck. I left mid-lease because of how miserable I was- no understanding from the office staff to WHY I left. Disrespectful office team in the last 12 months- that did not put residents first or the property. I have been immensely happier now that I left the property. Do yourself a favor, do not rent here- you will quickly see the problems.

Trust the reviews. I lived here for close to 2 years. I did love my physical apartment as it was spacious and cozy, but it is not worth the frustrations I had to go through while living here. The management, maintenance, and up keep are terrible. For example, the front gates are always open or broken- safety concern for the residents (what's the point in having it) and the pool is closed most of the summer due to uncleanliness. My AC went out when it was 100 degrees outside and it took them 3 weeks to fix it. At that time, I was told by management that legally my apartment only had to be 7 degrees cooler than the outside temperature to be considered "livable" - what a joke. My washing machine broke during my last 6 months there and they kept sending the same maintenance man to "fix it", I had to request maintenance 3 different times for the same problem. The maintenance guy also told me that all of the appliances are coming up on warranty so literally everything is breaking. Today, I received my security deposit in the mail. They deducted $110 to clean the shower and patch the nail holes in the wall. So basically don't use the shower or hang anything on the walls or they will take it from your deposit.

Been here since 2020 management have changed hand more times than I can think of, maintenance just started being semi consistent, gate been broke longer than one can think of; the package area and pool area has been unsecured for well over 6 months. Additionally, they claimed they will fix the gate but if you need a decal for a gate that works for 2 months you have to pay 25 dollars for it. Trash at times is run over but could be that the gate is broken as I’ve seen people drive here dump trash and leave. Positive is that it is a newer complex so the inside it updated and there is more space than others but for a 1st lake property I’ll say avoid

Do NOT move here, the staff is not so friendly, I hate going to that office for anything, the gate has been broken for over a year, door where my packages is kept has been broken for MONTHS! Two weeks ago I hear a loud noise by my room window, knocking, drilling and talking, office didn’t say anything until residents started to complain. As of 10/18/23 the noise is still there, call the office they said another week. My husband works overnight as a police officer, NO rest they start at 8am and stops at 4pm when it’s time for him to get ready for work! Don’t make sense to call the main number they NEVER call back! This place has went down hill! Let’s not forget RENT is HIGH, Why I’m I paying rent at a place my husband is unable to sleep? Won’t be renewing my lease. I wish I can post the noise that wakes me up every morning!
