Went to see the band China Crisis here and it was absolutely fantastic. Again the group was outstanding and just never fail to impress. The sound in the hall was very good. The Witham was an excellent run venue and what I find incredible is access and parking all so near without the agro of trying to find a space. The bar staff were friendly and prompt. I like to congratulate whoever is running these shows behind the scenes as they are definitely doing a fantastic job. Well done to all.

Visited on 2nd March to see comedian, Simon Evans (brilliant, by the way). The intimacy of the auditorium makes it an ideal venue for comedy. The staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful. Small, reasonably well stocked bar area. The opportunity to pre-order interval drinks and have the bar open after the performance would have been nice, but this is a small venue run, I think, by volunteers who do a wonderful job and you can't everything. Will most certainly be back.

Went to see the Jive Aces January 24. It was sold on the e mail I received as a "dance". When we entered the hall the concert seating was out and on what was left of the dance floor tables and chairs were set out. Leaving very little space to dance. When I complained to staff(volunteers) the response varied from: well what can we do and not everyone wants to dance, to just make sure you get to the dance floor first. The potential for conflict and injury between those sat drinking on tables on the dance floor and those trying to dance was ever present. The band were also of poor quality and spent more time waffling on about nothing than playing dance music, perhaps the two issues are related?If you want a real jumping jive band and a place to dance look elsewhere.

Great little theatre with lovely staff . Easy parking right outside the door if you're lucky . Been a few times but most recently to see Mark Simmons . Very funny 😁

Excellent entertainment venue, lots of varying types of entertainment, especially comedy all in the Durham Dales. Has a good cafe with a vary varied menu. Well worth a visit

A lovely venue, Been here as a performer and a punter. The staff are always helpful and friendly and it's a great place to watch a show.

Great place to go and see some of the smaller bands. I went to see Dr. Feelgood and had a good night.
