First time eating in Stanford Connecticut and I stumbled upon this restaurant. Walked by and place was very lively with decent music playing. Glad I stopped by their service was exceptional and food was great too. I would definitely be back the atmosphere and service definitely making me a return customer

Such a great dinner here. They have so many options to choose from. The staff is very knowledgeable and great with recommendations. For drinks, we got the dos peninsulas (10/10), summer street swing (5/10, tasted like vodka lemonade), and a bottle of the Aylin (7/10 affordable but also a little cheap, nutty hints). For food we got the Gambas (AMAZING 11/10), beef empanadas (10/10 could have had 20), patatas bravas (10/10), mushroom croquetas (8/10 good but weird texture and very heavy), short ribs (7/10, good but for the price not great), hummus (5/10), San símon cheese (4/10) and salcgichón de Vic (5/10 tasted just like TJs). Overall definitely excited to come back and try more of the menu!

Stopped by for brunch for the first time. Absolutely amazing! The best authentic Spanish food that I have had outside of Spain. Must have the Olive Oil Cake, Steak and Eggs, French Toast, Empanadas, and everything else on the menu! Everything was fantastic and service was very good.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed in my experience at this restaurant. We showed up for our reservation at 7:45 and were told that we would be seated next. We waited over an hour and watched people fill in and leave while we were just standing around. We asked the hostess multiple times and they continuously lied to us about when we would be seated. Eventually I spoke to a server who sat us down at 9pm and was able to get us food. She was helpful and did comp part of our meal, which I appreciated. The food was great—but the hostess treated us like garbage. Really disappointed in the lack of customer service and organization at such a popular restaurant.

I was having a sad birthday and my roommate took brought me out. It was my first time at Barcelona. Ernest and Miquel made me smile all through and I must confess, I had the best birthday yet. Thanks to the two amazing gentlemen. I had the best food too. And the desert was OMG

AMAZING!!!! I came here for my friends birthday and I can not be happier with the experience we had. Incredible food! The best part was the service though. Our waitress Karen was great. Super kind with lots of helpful recommendations. The manager Brandon was also wonderful. Can not speak highly enough about the staff!!!

It's awesome to find a restaurant that makes it so easy to set up an event and, on top of that, receive good food and good service!

Updated: Visited this Barcelona, Stamford location after many suggestions from my friends and co-workers. Been there twice already in ten days. First time was a great/pleasant experience(first two pictures 🍸), when it came to second time (third picture) was on this Monday evening, one of the wait staff at the end just took away the glass and food (half of calamari) which was still being worked on 😂. I did not understand the rush 🏃‍♂️ of clearing the space. Maybe give some time for customers to finish their meal/drink something to consider 💭 Hi Brandon, it’s been a week since I sent you an email and a text message to this number to addresses the concerns left in my review, but I assume that your response is just to show the potential customers that the management takes customer feedback seriously to ensure that the mistake or problem highlighted by the reviewer won’t happen again. Sadly, it’s just to show because I haven’t gotten any response from you. So I assume this is a business tactic to get customers think that management cares.

Every tapas that we ordered was delicious, cocktails were spot on and well made, olive cake with ice cream was a delectable treat. However, service was a bit slow towards the end; had to wait a while for the bill and coffee which I was told a fresh pot of it was being made. Staff was friendly and attentive and checked on us periodically. Would definitely go back again!

Very good Tapas spot in Stamford. Tortilla (Spanish style) and grilled shrimp and garlic were fantastic. Lomo (lamb) dish was good as well. Local beers were fine - but ask for recommendations on the Spanish wines. Great lively vibe - very friendly and helpful staff! Will be back!

everything i ordered was absolutely delicious! the staff was so friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back again when I’m in town. I was staying across the street for work so I’m so happy this was in walking distance. Cute table inside(the doors were open so I could people watch haha). I ordered the sea scallops, grilled hanger steak with truffle vinaigrette, the pork belly and the olive oil cake (which came with ice cream which i enjoyed in my room later).

My bestfriend and I frequently visit this place at least 5 times a week & I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing the staff is. They treat us like family and are always extremely accommodating. We wouldn’t be coming here as much as we do if the vibe didn’t provide what it does. If you’re looking for a place to unwind after work or a long day in general this is definitely the place to go. Have yourself a nice glass of wine with friends or alone & do some people watching, either way it’s always a good time:)

I have done rad trips between NY and MA. This is a perfect spot to stop by on the way. Its near the highway and also has a hotel next to it. Food and drinks are great!

While walking around Manhattan, a stranger struck up a conversation. My fiance and I told her that we were on our way to Stamford and she adamantly recommended this wine bar saying that their tapas were life changing-she was not wrong. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with such friendly and kind staff. Chris, the manager introduced himself, and welcomed us to the restaurant. Chris was very helpful and came by a few times throughout the course of our meal to make sure we were enjoying everything. Since we did not have much experience with tapas, we asked our waiter Alonso what he recommended, and he made sure to get an idea of what we would like and our tastes, and made wonderful recommendations. Our favorites were the ham and cheese croquettes and the calamari! We look forward to coming back when we are next in Stamford, and we recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area!

Went for a family lunch and it was great! the waiter was really helpful for recommendations for pescatarian and gluten-free options. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. Absolutely recommend this place for great food and drinks.

I’m usually not the biggest fan of Spanish food but will be having more of it since I’ve had this tapas place. The ambience of the place is incredible and they have a lovely staff too. It’s great for date night or just a meal with friends. We didn’t have a wait when we came in. Try the croquettes and the spiced beef empanadas!

We thoroughly enjoyed the tapas experience here. Excellent all around. Our waitress was passionate about the selections and guided us in choosing. The restaurant gets full and tables are quiet close. Love thy neighbor.

Good Evening, Wanted to take my friend here for some tapas. We’ll say no more I have been a customer for years even at their Greenwich location. Me and my friend sat at the bar which we were greeted by the Bartender Christopher. We wanted to do flights and he made our own custom combination which was amazing he was very very knowledgeable and we were beyond pleased with his choices. We ordered the charcuterie and paella we even had some small plates that Chef Max brought out to us very sweet and a pleasure to be greeted by and converse with. Even the manager Harold came over and spoke with us made sure if we needed anything and made it even more of a great experience. If you haven’t been here you have to come overall and amazing experience. Stamford Location.

Excellent little gem, can’t see much through the windows but the wooden walls, horseshoe bar and well designed seating lends a coziness without being too divey. Excellent wine display and Berry reasonable bottle pricing for some pretty unique vintage. Gintonics were phenomenal, and the sangria was flowing fast so I assume it’s good.

I'm not even done with my meal yet and I'm reviewing this restaurant, it is just phenomenal. The menu is based off the tapas style which I adore. My husband, a friend and I came here on a whim. Even though the establishment was incredibly busy, we were seated immediately. The bacon dates will blow your mind, the empanadas are just divine, there is an amazing selection of cheeses, all the drinks we had were just perfect. Be prepared for it to be a little loud (the music makes it hard to hold a conversation) but the food comes out quickly and the General Manager introduced himself and asked how we are doing. We couldn't have asked for a better experience or dinner on the last night of our vacation.

For most parts, it was enjoyable excepted for the steak was a bit tough. The biggest blunder was serving luke warm cappuccino and coffee with desserts.

Excellent service. Jane is a special kind of employee that all employers want. Great knowledge of the product, very personable, and a great saleswoman. Excellent food. Everything we tried was delicious. The olive oil cake was incredible. Great cocktails and an awesome collection of Spanish wines. Overall a great experience and we look forward to returning for another date night!

Barcelona is absolutely amazing! The staff are so friendly and the environment is comfortable yet so awake. It has become a new favorite spot! The food is delicious my absolute favorite, so far, is the mushroom croquetas.

Today was a wonderful day to be at this spot. The outside dining had a good vibe although it was a bit breezy. The servers were excellent and courteous. Shout out to Liam, Amanda and Miguel - you're awesome!!! The food was fantastic and the selection was vast. My favorites were the crispy calamari, bikini, steak pillars and my faavvvvvorite dessert - the Olive Oil Cake. You have got to try this cake!! The pricing is moderate and well worth it. I will be back soon Barcelona!!!
