This place is like no other park I know once you there you feel connected to nature but you in the middle of the suburbs. The place changes and transforms every different season and Holliday. This place you can ice skate, concerts etc and it's pet friendly.

Super cute holiday light display. Lots of fun and festive things to do even after we saw the lights; there were food trucks, performers, ice-skating, and music. Had a great time here with my friends last week!!

Lovely little FREE park. Though I don't think there is a parking "lot" there are many spaces surrounding the park, especially on the Mill River Street side. The park is pretty small and can be walked through quickly, but offer some lovely scenery of greenery and the stream. There are some seating throughout the park, a dog run area, and a giant sprinkler area in the center. Ofcourse there are signs that say "do not run in sprinkler" but on a 90-degree day...there wasn't one person there that wasn't. There is also an indoor carousel area which had two food trucks (one food, one beer) there at the time I visited on a Sunday afternoon. There was also a local school putting on a band performance that day as well! A Dunkin Donut is right behind the carousel which is convenient. Lots of large grassy areas throughout the park to sit down, spread a blanket and relax!

Very pretty. I would never have known about this place in Stamford. Reminds me of so many small parks in California.

Nice park in downtown Stamford with large open space and walking trails. You can sit by the slow flowing river and see ducks splashing in water. Carousel for kids open on weekends. Lots of summer activities organized by the park management.

Nice park to have an evening stroll. There is a small river/ stream of water with lot of ducks so good to pass some time sitting by stream watching ducks play around. In fall, park offers nice hues of trees in yellow and red color..

Went to the Holiday Stroll. Price for adults was reduced from last year by $5. First weekend was free for kids. I think $15 is still too much for children. Kids had fun. There were rides & food & hot chocolate. Covered area was for adults and had a nice vibe.

After going to the bathroom, we were not allowed back in to see the lights. We got yelled at after trying to get back in to finish walking through the park. Definitely was not worth $20. This is something that I would definitely not recommend to family or friends. Just very disappointed and discouraged. Felt like there should have been more lights and should’ve been able to go back in after using the bathrooms.

We love strolling through the park. One suggestion.. would be nice to have a small walking bridge to connect the upper portion with the carousel to the rest of the park.

Mill River Park is a beautiful park with ample seating. I love to grab lunch down the street and enjoy it here. If you visit on the weekend, bear in mind the park is often used for special events such as festivals or concerts so your expirience may vary.

A pleasant place to walk a dog or sit peacefully and look at the trees and the the Mill River. Unfortunately the Canadian geese like this park all too well and the evidence of their activity is everywhere. I visited on a foggy rainy day. It is no doubt much more pleasant and green in the summer.

The city and the Mill River Park Collaberative have transformed this place into a really amazing spot after years of design and construction. What was a walled off canal with a dam at the end, built to create a small pond for the Diamond Ice co. to make giant blocks of ice for refrigeration purposes, and had to be dredged periodically from silt build up , is now a beautiful and natural river flowing with native plants and trees through the heart of downtown. I think they've done a wonderful job of creating a green focal point that's very accessible to everyone. Go to one of the many events held there and check it out.

What a pleasant and relaxing spot right in downtown Stamford. Looking forward to seeing the opening of the new Discovery Center. It's nice to see the fountains back on.

Very nice park. Nice big fountain that you or your dog can walk through to cool down. In the winter its converted into an ice rink which is a blast at a very good price!

Quiet and scenic park in the middle of downtown. Clean and well maintained. I attended a fun Bollyfit class and quite enjoyed the whole experience of dancing with a beautiful fountain within view.

Such a lovely well kept park. It's hard to believe the area is surrounded by traffic and it still feels like fresh nature. Perfect for a walk, a picnic, grab a seat, it's up to you and a perfect location. The geese were adorable of course.
