The
inn
was
gorgeous,
very
clean,
well
decorated
and
maintained.
Our
room
was
spacious,
elegant
and
with
a
comfortable
king
sized
bed.
The
inn's
garden
is
in
much
need
of
a
professional;
and
quickly,
in
order
to
keep
it
from
becoming
unrecoverable.
The
garden
has
HUGE
potential.
It
was
once
a
grand
asset
of
the
home.
We
were
supposed
to
have
received
a
text
from
the
Inn
before
we
arrived,
explaining
the
check-in
procedure.
Check-in
would
have
been
very
simple
but,
unfortunately,
our
cell
phone
number
had
been
recorded
incorrectly.
No
text
was
received.
So,
once
we
arrived
at
the
inn,
we
had
to
go
searching
for
a
staff
member
in
order
to
get
into
our
room.
Breakfast
service
needs
attention.
My
spouse
has
a
dairy
allergy
of
which
we
informed
the
inn
as
a
part
of
the
online
reservation
process.
However,
only
creamers
were
available
for
breakfast.
We
also
noted
that
bowls
were
not
set
out
for
the
offered
cereals.
We
ordered
quiche
which
was
freshly
baked
and
quite
good.
Similarly,
the
avocado
toast
we
ordered
was
good.
However
the
toast
was
served
with
a
hard
boiled
egg
that
was
still
in
its
shell.
The
egg
had
been
boiled
earlier
and
had
been
refrigerated,
drying
the
shell
to
the
egg.
Removing
the
shell
at
our
table
was
a
messy
procedure.
These
struck
us
as
simple
errors
that
could
be
easily
resolved.
The
inn
is
in
a
great
location;
in
an
attractive
residential
neighborhood,
and
within
very
short
driving
distances
to
the
Greenwich
shopping
district,
the
Bruce
Museum
and
excellent
restaurants.
We
would
stay
here
again,
but
offer
these
constructive
criticisms
in
the
hope
that
Colin
and
his
staff
can
focus
on
a
few
items
that
would
put
this
inn
in
a
stellar
position.
