Lovely Arboretum and Gardens. Free to enter. Located right off of Merritt Parkway (Route 15). Lots of food options nearby along High Ridge Road. There is a large parking lot close to the main area nearby the visitor's/welcome center. There is also a smaller space which accommodates about 5-6 vehicles as soon as you enter...this eaves you closer to the pond trail. Lots of walking paths on the well-maintained grounds. There are garden areas throughout .... be sure to take a photo of the map and/or follow the signs to explore each area. Bring comfortable and hike-ready footwear...especially if you plan on walking on some of the trails. The few staff members I encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Awesome place. None of the trails are more that a half a mile. All trails are google maps walking directions usable. As in I asked google how to get from one point to another and it gave me trail options and turn by turn directions through out the park. Girl Scouts have contributed several board walkways ( over otherwise swampy parts so you can enjoy nature without getting dirty) to the park. Cell service is consistent and good throughout the park. Btw did I I mention the amazing geocaching that’s available here. Included is the OLDEST geocache in Connecticut.( see photo) Gather loved ones and take a break from the your daily rut and breathe in the fresh air.

Fantastic arboretum! I didn't visit in season for the gardens but I have paid money to visit less substantial botanical gardens than what is here. In season it must really be amazing.

This place is so pretty. My family loves it! There are several short hiking trails, and a beautiful lake with a waterfall, and several gardens. There are so many hidden goodies here. My nieces and nephew favorite part was playing with the word rocks shown in the pictures. They were pretty creative., lol. It’s kid friendly, a safe place and very relaxing. I highly recommend this place! We love it.

This such an awesome spot to just take a hike and enjoy nature. Free parking available close to ground. Aroma of different types of flowers all around. Could not find the bathroom though. The trail’s are easy to walk and there is stream along some of the them. Will go back.

Highly recommend Bartlett Arboretum! Was nice day walking the trails. Got to meet local dog walkers which is always a plus. To cap the morning, Dr. Bartlett was nice enough to invite me inside the homestead for some eggnog! Truly a memorable day!

What a beautiful and peaceful place. The trees, plants and gardens are varied, fascinating and well taken care of. The 911 memorial arch is very special. We'll be back!!

Well kept! Decent amount of wooded trails for Stamford my dogs love it here. Just make sure you check for ticks after. I’ve picked a few bad boys off them after a good walk

Lovely area with hiking trails in a wooded section, a boardwalk through a marsh, many flowering shrubs in spring and a more formal garden section as well. Highly recommended.

Exquisite collection of trees (dawn redwoods, Japanese umbrella pines, weeping beech, columnar maple, weeping redbud, magnolias, etc) plus a garden of pollard-pruned trees AND a brand new sensory garden! Beautiful hiking paths.

We come here all the time to enjoy the beautiful trails. The entire area is very well maintained. They have a fenced in garden area, great for a small walk. There are a bunch of different levels of trails for everyone to enjoy. Very kid friendly
