    I have no idea about Bulgarian painters but this was one of the loveliest places I've ever visited. The gallery is rather small but you definitely get your money's worth as it's only 2 leva and I spent more than half an hour here. This is exceptional for Bulgarian standards as every painting has a very detailed description in both Bulgarian and English of its author. I got a piece of chocolate while visiting as it was the director's gallery. Worth it, 10/10 recommended.

    A very interesting art gallery, must see if you are interested in the first half of XX Century art. Also they have a nicely published catalog for a few dollars more.
