Loved this place! Delicious food and we even tried the gator tail. The waitress was from PA so that was awesome too. Highly recommend! Try the deviled crab!

Come here from Middleburg since the one in Middleburg closed down. Make sure if you come here you ask for Jennifer aka "Kentucky". You can't miss that thick slow southern draw. She will makes sure you're taken care of. Food was decent and service was great. I would definitely visit here again, but only if Kentucky is my server!

Stopped in and had dinner at this familiar eatery and really enjoyed it. Love the atmosphere.. very colorful with the plaques, photos and paintings. Food was very good. Nice portions and very flavorful. Thought at first pricey but considering the amount of fish you receive well worth it! Service was mostly good.. very talkative and helped us decide what to order when asked. Only complaint and why it’s 4 stars and not five was it was very dusty and the bathrooms were not too clean amd need a renovation. But can recommend and plan to return!

Popular spot in Starke for some home cooking seafood. The food was decent. Service was fair little slow but friendly. Was some what disappointed with had to ask for napkins and silverware and even then never got a fork. Not a very clean restaurant or restrooms need more attention to details.

I am so glad I stopped here for lunch on a very long drive back home. Walking in, the restaurant smelled amazing. Our waitress (name forgotten, but a very friendly woman with gorgeous black hair in a cute updo, and very sweet). She made excellent recommendations and I ended up getting the daily special and was not disappointed. The only thing stopping me from licking my plate like an animal was the parade of cute firemen and locals, and not wanting to tarnish the reputation of the establishment. My fish and shrimp were cooked perfectly, and my sides (fried okra, hush puppies, and collard greens) took me back to my childhood. Excellent food. Excellent service. Next time I travel I'm making this my go-to stop.

Great value for the money. The food was very tasty. I am a hush puppy snob, and they did not disappoint! The fried banana peppers appetizer was amazing! The only possible concern was our server was VERY busy. She was nice and attentive, but stretched thin. In her defense they did get very busy not long after we got there. Definitely a place we will go back.

Awesome food at a reasonable price. Not to mention the great service. Paula and all the wait staff where smiling and checked on us frequently. We will definitely be back soon. So if you are traveling through Starke FL, and your belly is rumbling, stop in, sit a spell, and enjoy some of the best food in the south!

They were out of most of the dishes we asked for. (Shrimp cocktail, fried green tomatoes, baked beans). There was black mold on the ceilings. The dishes weren't very clean and the food wasnt the best. Frozen to fryer is a tough practice to keep up nowadays. The staff was great, but obviously poorly managed.

Enter this delightful seafood getaway. You will find massive portions of the most delicious food this side of mama’s kitchen and service to match!! If you are looking for a quiet atmosphere without sacrificing food or service quality, this is the place for you!

Food all has a funny taste to me. We only ate 2 bites before packing it up. They were out of most of the soda flavors. Overall just not a great experience.

Delicious is usual. We had a large celebration party. The young man that served us was on point. I wish I had gotten his name. He worked our table alone and kept everyone happy.

The food was good but we waited over an hour and a half for our dinners. They had a large party and left all the other diners waiting. Having grown up in the industry, I know a well managed and trained staff can multitask, not just do one order at a time. By the time they informed us what the hold up was, it was too late to go somewhere else. Ask how long it will take to be served before sitting down.

Great food for a great price, but the real star of the show is the amazing service given by Cindy. Without exaggeration she was a joy from the first greeting. I left my card in the restaurant and she went above and beyond to reach out to me and help me get it back, a certified superstar Cindy was the best.

My first time here, plenty of food, fresh and delicious. Friendly and quiet atmosphere. 100%recommended. Waitress very friendly 👍👍.
