Worst experience ever. My college student daughter signed up and tried to cancel several times. Each time she was talked into staying or freezing her membership. They are very good with the sales pitch. They talked her into freezing her membership. She forgot all about the freeze. In the meantime, she had changed credit cards. They waited until two months of declined payments passed and then contacted her. So, she was on the hook for two months of declined payments. They told her to pay right away or she might be charged for three months. So, Orange Theory took two months of payments from her, or as I like to call it a $300 ransom fee, that she never used. Just be aware of their contracts and third party billing systems, Consumer be ware!

Things I love about OTF State College: - The staff and coaches all get to know you by name and greet you with a smile when you walk in the door - The coaches almost always start class on time - The music is motivating and keeps you pumped - The workouts don't make you feel slow or unfit because everyone is working at their own pace doing their own challenges - You don't have to think about what you are going to do for a workout - they have everything planned for you - Their "welcome session" is very comprehensive and makes everything clear before your first workout, so make sure you show up for it - They have showers for those in a time crunch - They have fun challenges to keep you motivated Things they can improve: - Parking is a challenge to find. Make sure you show up early. - The cost of classes are pretty expensive - They charge you to pause membership which never used to happen. - If you want to cancel membership, you have to let them know more than a month in advance. - Nowadays they charge you for all the extra events and challenges, which is a shame. It used to be a way to build community but now it feels more like a money-grabbing effort. -

This studio is fantastic! I have never in my life gone to a gym before. I felt like everything was explained so well to me. I also felt as if the staff sincerely cared about my fitness goals, experience, and understanding. I highly recommend this gym. I am a grandma, and I felt the workout was great. I could adapt it to my own level.

My first time going to a orange theory class was absolutely amazing!! I was greeted by Ryan, Kiara, and Megan with smiles. I felt so welcomed right away. As someone who lost 50 pounds and gained it back I was a little self conscious but Ryan was the instructor and he was so EMPOWERING! I felt amazing and upbeat. The class pushed me while also keeping me in my comfort zone. I can’t stress enough how great everyone who works there is. On top of that the class really got me sweating and my heart rate up. Love love love this location, instructors, and overall the atmosphere!

I grew up as a athlete but got a little away from that lifestyle as I got older - OTF WB reminded me why I loved working out. The coaches are amazing - they push they every class and even as someone who has lifted/ran/etc, they make sure to correct form and give you best practices. The group atmosphere holds you accountable and benchmark classes give you something to be competitive about and really see where you’ve improved. 11/10.

Love the positive energy at OT - especially since it’s usually at 5am! The coaches are wonderful - Caitlin and Amanda with help from Coach Bella and Tory in the mornings. I need the discipline of showing up for classes and am excited to go to class to see what comes next. The workouts are dynamic, never boring and I feel like I get a total body workout. The coaches are super careful about how people work out and keep a close eye on us. I feel safe even doing things that I’ve not done before. I know the coaches will make sure I have the right form. I also like the idea of splat points. Funny ... I can’t believe how competitive I am with myself now that I actually have a work out that has small/mind game/rewards! The app is easy to use for signing up for classes and I appreciate that there are virtual classes if, for some reason, I can’t get to the gym. I work in healthcare and can appreciate the health benefit of the work out but even more importantly the health benefit of the positive energy that I get to be around when I go to Orange theory! Thank you to everyone at the State College Orange theory for keeping things going during this pandemic and making OT a safe spot and a fun place to be!

I love going to OT! I joined OT a year and half ago and it has helped me gain endurance and strength for running. The coaches here are absolutely amazing and they help you through all the workouts, they motivate you to push your self and accomplished what you want. I never get bored because each day the workout is different and it’s nice because you go at your own pace. I will totally recommend to joining OT, every minute you spend here is worthy.

The OTF in State College is great! The facility is very nice and the staff and coaches are so friendly and welcoming. I joined a few months ago and I'm definitely hooked. Being able to easily track my performance really pushes me to continue to workout and improve. It's a great gym and I would highly recommend it!

Would highly recommend trying this place to anyone looking for a fun, encouraging environment to help you get in shape. The coaches are awesome and really help you get the movements right so you can maximize your work out. They also do a great job motivating you and it’s awesome to see how you did at the end of each class. I was nervous that I wasn’t “fit” enough to do these classes, but that is not the case. It can work for any fitness level, and you will find yourself getting stronger after each class!

OTF State College has the best workouts and staff. It is great to have instructor lead class. Workouts are different everyday. They have a lot to offer. You make connections with staff and other OTF members.

The workouts vary throughout the week so that you can emphasize different muscle groups and get a total body workout throughout the week. It's also great that there are power days and endurance days ,... so that you're not strictly emphasizing one over the other..

It is a friendly and welcoming place. All coaches and staffs encourage the members to push themselves, greet them warmly, and help with any issues. I am so happy to be a part of OTF - State College!
