Insomnia Cookies never disappoints and this location is no exception. We ordered two deluxe cookie 4 packs and the cookies are amazing! They are costly but well worth every penny. They came out soft, warm and full of flavor! The staff was very friendly and I highly recommend visiting this location.

It’s a great place if you’re in the mood for freshly baked cookies unlike the store bought. They’re warm and soft, ready to go but they do run out at times. My favorites are chocolate chunk, snickerdoodle, and mint chocolate! They have their seasonal red velvet which is a must! I recommend getting a 6 pack rather than the mini pack for a better deal. Every encounter is a pleasant one, they’re always kind upon greeting. Most recently, they were redecorating so there was no sign of what kind of cookies they had available and their prices. They were happy to inform me more than once what was on the menu because of my forgetfulness. I recommend coming here if you’re in need for a quick freshly baked snack.

I asked them to write me an uplifting message on my box because I was really going through a lot and had an overwhelming amount of anxiety, and they told me to “cry alone.” It was not funny as I was really going through a lot (which I wrote). I found it to be not funny at all and extremely insensitive. Whoever wrote that needs a reality check asap.

I just had the best experience at insomnia. I’ve always enjoyed their cookies but rarely go because I try not to eat too many sweets. But today I was craving some chocolate and decided to walk there from my office. As soon as I walked in, the man behind the counter (whose name is “Wes L” according to my receipt) asked me how I was doing and how my day was going. I told him “it’s about to get so much better!” I ordered my 3 cookies and he quickly got them for me, and handed me the box, and the receipt telling me about the survey QR code at the bottom. I never do the surveys but I decided to hold onto it anyways. I walked all the way back to my office before opening the box of cookies. Once I sat down to eat them I decided to do the survey first. I scanned the code. One of the first questions was for the quality of the cookies. I opened the box to see what the quality looked like and I squealed with delight! Wes had given me 2 extra cookies on the house! My coworkers heard me squeal and came running asking what happened. I told them and they said they had never had insomnia cookies before so I let’s them each have some of the different types of cookies (it’s vital they try all the delicious flavors 😁). Wes’ positive attitude from the second I walked in the door to his small act of kindness not only made my whole day but also made the day of my 2 coworkers and in turn I believe also created 2 new customers. Thank you for making my day that much brighter, Wes! 🤎🍪 PS - I forgot to take a picture of all the cookies before I shared them. I had Insomnia cookies as a late night snack. They have gluten free and vegan options, which is a nice treat for those that need those options. I ordered the gluten free cookie ice sandwich. It came as 2 cookies, and then you put the ice cream in it. The cookies were still warm when opening, but putting the ice cream on made the cookies completely fall apart. Not a big deal. The prices for 1 cookie price ranges from $2 to $3.50. The cookie ice cream sandwich totaled at $6. This is definitely more of a treat place. Tasted really good. The staff was not the most attentive or courteous, but again the cookies were good.

Cookie & Ice cream was good!! First thing is they give me a cookie and two scoops of ice cream on the smallest plate. Melts everywhere. Then after I pay they tell me I’m sorry but we don’t have any spoons so you’ll have to go down to one of the other restaurants and ask for one. Really!!! How about you tell me this when I ordered and secondly bad very bad management for not picking up some spoons for your business.

Delivery is always extremely late, expensive for what you get. Won't even pick up the phone. Can't wait till the new Crumbl Cookies store takes over their business. Crumbl is way better quality, taste, and customer service. Was thrilled to see Crumbl would open here after moving from NC a month ago. Go Crumbl!

Delivery took 2 hours for a small order and parts of it were missing. Was my first time trying and they were below average cookies. Buy a $1 box of cookies from Walmart it will taste better and be a much better use of your money.

Product was good the only problem was I had to go searching for it when I ordered delivery you think giving someone an address would allow them to use it I specified that it was a hotel and the driver just assumed it was the nearest one therefor dropping it off at the wrong location and the wrong room , thank god it landed in good hand and was able to retrieve it 15 minutes after it said it was delivered , driver was Marcel no harm done but you should pay attention to the addresses next time

I buy from this company every once in a while and mostly get good quality cookies. My latest purchase I have received over-baked cookies that were crunchier/darker than normal. I used to work for this company and at the time, I was told to throw away cookies that were over-baked. I’m not sure if I want to go back and risk getting cookies like those again.

2 of the 3 cookies I got delivered were hard as rocks. Good flavor but I had to soak them in milk to make them edible.

Five Stars for the quality, presentation and taste. One Star for the convoluted steps to get these cookies delivered to my son on campus. I had to cancel my first online order (long story) and call a main number to get the second order delivered. The person on the phone explained step-by-step, bc it’s not easy to follow online, including that the delivery address would be Paterno Library, but to type in my sons dorm for his actual delivery. Guess where the driver went? Paterno Library! My son then contacted the driver & gave him his dorm address. My son said the driver was annoyed when he delivered the bday cookies. Won’t be doing this again- so frustrating!

Specifically put my apartment number on my order before placing it. Jaleel somehow didn’t see it. He dropped it off at the other building over and only followed the direction about the porch light being on and not the actual apartment number. Then blamed me for his error. He verbally berated and belittled me on the phone, with a condescending tone when he dropped it off at the wrong apartment. He said things in that tone like “Well don’t you live here?” after I had trouble reexplaining directions that I shouldn’t have had to explain. His tone completely changed when he couldn’t hide behind a screen and got angry when I confronted him about how unprofessionally he handled the call with me. I got very angry with him in person, as he deserved. You’re not going to provoke me, a paying customer, after you messed up. The cookies were super cold too. I’ll just pick them up next time. Or if I do delivery, I will make a note to not allow Jaleel as my delivery driver.

I’m not one to make reviews but this just made me sad. There were not 6 cookies and they came destroyed. Only one was intact sort of.

Been there twice.. first time in 22 and another in 23.. Amazing stuff!!.. they just added a new vegan birthday cake ice cream which was so damn tasty!.. I'm definitely going back again!. Thank goodness at least one place in State college has some vegan options!

Look, I wanted to give them a 5 star. BUT, they said they didn’t have the cookie I wanted, so I bought the delux…. THEN they gave my friend the cookie I wanted. They said they didn’t have it?? Sorry I don’t understand. Nonetheless, it was a good cookie and the staff was friendly. Still upset though :(
