People often mention park,

Renaming the place is a very good decision! What is shocking, however, is the negative reaction that naming a square after an NSU murder victim provokes. This man lived and worked here in Germany. His name represents this country and not the people who give 1-star ratings here.

There are a particularly large number of dogs in the park and defecate all over it. Probably because of the name. It's a shame what Germany has become 🙂

We are in DE and not in Turkey! Tolerance ends somewhere! That's crazy

Gyulaer Strasse, where the crime was committed, borders on Budapester Platz with its green area and playground - why then is a park on Sperberstrasse, which has since been completely neglected, named after the victim? You certainly can't do it as an honor or as a souvenir...

The renaming of the park is great. Against all right-wing terror. There are also often a lot of very cute dogs here.

If something like NSU didn't happen in Germany, no streets or parks would be unnamed, especially since the German police withheld evidence and shifted the blame to other foreigners...

Rue de Saint-Germain-lès-Corbeil und alle anderen französischen Straßennamen stören nicht, aber wenn eine Straße mit türkischen Namen umbenannt wird, kotzen alle braunen sich aus...

It's terrible when people get hurt. I don't understand the victim's connection to this park. Germany certainly has many victims, but above all this country has a future. The park previously had a name, a person - whose appreciation was removed by renaming. That doesn't seem to me to have been clearly thought through. I may be wrong. My condolences.

Unfortunately it's not a nice place, the city doesn't care much about it anymore.

I think that goes too far, a memorial plaque would have been enough, Don't rename the park.
