    Usually I have good experiences at McDonald’s, however lately, not so much. A few times I have ordered extra ketchup and received none. I also order spicy hot sauce on the side and don’t get as many as I paid for. Today I ordered a large milkshake and upon receiving it, it was a medium, all the employee could do was say that they don’t have large, not offer me the remaining amount I paid for in another cup. The service is declining as the days go but unfortunately.

    Was robbed last week Friday at this drive thru. Staff don't know how to use the app. Deducted my points for Grand Chicken Spicy Burger but didn't get it. Manager was not helpful at all. Said that my point would return after 33 minutes. No points returned!! Took my shake and fries and left. Logged it on the app. No response. Poor customer service!!

    McDonald's Stellenbosch is the worst! While placing an order the staff talks and laughs loudly amongs each other hence getting my order wrong. Tried phoning them several times but no answer. Besides the wrong order, the chips looked and tasted stale and burger was cold and dry

    Firstly was forced to order on a screen, then when i chose a basic meal which is advertised as a regular meal at R59.90 you get swamped with other options trying to get you to change your meal and then you have to pay extra for normal coke..turns out to be R62 50 or something. So a simple process turns into a sales scam. And lets face it. Its all junk anyway.

    Shew, service was great but the kitchen staff really need to learn to talk to each other and not shout. I was the only patron waiting for a meal, there were no dine in patrons so the noise level from the kitchen was excessive.

    Had a bad day from Nomzamo Magoso . I would have loved to ask from the management if this restaurant is an immigration center or a vigilant organization. This lady has a lot to explain why she told me that operation dudula must come and clean all the foreigners. Is this how this restaurant deal with customers. Are Foreigners not welcomed into your business. Totally disappointed from your staff.

    Loadshedding hit and some rude customers who think the sun shines from their nether regions were mean to management. The asked for the impossible, the staff are electrical engineers to fix the non working generator. However the staff was unable to do a refund for item purchased since it could not delivered. The was awkward and in the dark it look like violence was breeding. Overall I don't mind going back again, hope they fix their generator

    Not great in busy hours. 25 plus minutes for a normal takeaway. Previous review was 4 stars but would not recommend anymore. Manager was no help.

    This is the worst McDonalds we have ever been to! They don't have cones, so they wanted to charge us for a Sundae to just put a normal scoop ice-cream in a cup!! And then we ask to see the manager, and we waited more than 6 minutes for a manager...! Which couldn't even find the time to come and see us, and the waiter was very rude, and then we eventually just left...! What a bad experience, and we eat almost once a week McDonalds!

    Lack of accountability from the staff and manager for mistake on their behalf caused us to lose points and food that we were reddening from our accumulated points. Their response was "shame and that there's nothing that they can do". Manager didn't even make an effort to come forward to come speak with us even though we requested to speak with them.

    Your staff on the 15/11/23 should not be working. Every single person who came into the McDonald's in the the hour that it took me to get my food (so much for fast food) was appalled at their service. What is the point of having a ticket system if you are not served in order. People who were 25+ orders ahead of us got their orders before us and we ordered a big mac. The staff were incompetent to say the least absolutely useless.

    Food took 40 mins, was just a Big Mac meal. We were order 69 and people on order 92 came before us. Ridiculous. Staff didn’t start making the meal until we went to the counter to ask where our food was (after 25mins of waiting). Orders from 20 mins after us were getting their food before us. Won’t be coming here again or recommending it.

    It's not the best drive-through experience, and they get orders wrong quite often. Food is okay but not exceptional. Would be nice if the staff can be a bit more polite and friendlier.

    The drive thru was closed at 6h30 at a 24h branch. They said they don't take orders at the counter and nor do they take payments at the counter. You have to use the self service stations.

    I am a little unfair because loadshedding inhibited the ability to fry eggs. But 3 minutes delay became 15 minutes. Usually service is good.

    I wouldn’t recommend this McD because we were there and wanted to pay at the counter so I asked him to call someone to help us to pay then the guy told me in my face no and walked away. I then asked who’s the manager, the guy I think Thabo is his name said he is the supervisor and I explained what happened then he said maybe he didn’t hear you so I said no he did hear me and then they all laughed behind the counter very disappointed that he didn’t even reprimanded him but oh well.

    Both my grandkids started vomiting violently after eating burgers from this place... So after I raised this issue, the manager made contact, apologized and offered a gesture of goodwill. However this was more than 2 months ago and he never followed through with the promise. So not only did the food make my grandkids sick, the manager also lied... I will certainly not be taking my kids there again and will tell this story far and wide

    Coming from Pmb in KZN where fresh fries is a mission to get, the fact that this McDonald's ALWAYS delivers on super fresh and hot fries is fantastic. Getting my order right at the drive-thru is always a hassle and some of the staff just don't seem interested. Nevertheless, banging fries

    Poor management and poor behaviour by the staff we had encounter with. This evening was literally the 4th time that we ordered oreo mcflurries, that we stand in the line for 30min, only to get told when we’re about to pay that there is no ice cream. They NEVER have ice cream. What upsets us most is that we are being told there is a notice up front, it is hectic, the person taking the orders is new. Excuses, excuses. Not once were we asked or offered to order something else. The Manager , Makhanya, hardly gave me a chance to explain what happened, he was just full of excuses and telling us to understand. To top it off, when we asked for the restaurant managers / owners number, he just showed the number on his phone and walked off.

    Terrible experience. Just ordered via uber eats, I ordered food and a chai latte with an extra shot of espresso, and offered to pay extra for my special instructions, clearly specified this, even messaged the driver to ask him to double check to which he responded that he will. I received what I assume was a latte, sticky and spilt everywhere(McD’s has the worst coffee cups), I tipped the driver and he left, just for me to find the coffee undrinkable, I could have made a better coffee at home. Very disappointed by this bad service. Why offer coffee’s if you are clearly not able to deliver.

    Nice and cosy, and can be somewhat busy at times. The seating could be better and more comfortable, and they could do with some extra self-help stations at the front (only one out of the three there were working)

    I never even received my full order. Left in the end without my orange juice!! Service was terrible and my hashbrown was cold. I was there at 07:15 and the drive through was closed off forcing me to park and go in. Think twice..

    The fries were as great as always. The ladies were all very cheerful and matched my energy. Proudly South African. And the speed was very much appreciated since we were in a rush.

    Me and my friend came for mcds chilli cheese fries ...what a dis appointment ... everything was too little... fries . Sauses. Even the jalapenos. We usually buy this but today it was a total disaster

    What a bunch of uselessly trained staff. In the drive through lane for 10 min got to the order station and they tell me they are closed. Absolute incompetence. Stuck behind the cars in front of me for another 10 min probably with no order. No respect for my time .
