Beautiful wine farm. Splendid wine tasting. Friendly service. Luscious scenery. Gorgeous for wedding venue as there is a little chapel next to a lily pond with lilac water lilies surrounded by vineyards with bunches of the sweetest grapes. Would like to go back soon.

Le Manoir de Brendel was the perfect choice for our intimate wedding! My husband and I decided to come all the way from Germany to celebrate our wedding in Franschhoek. Even though we had never been to Le Manoir de Brendel and had to organise everything from abroad, it wasn’t difficult at all, since Charmaine has done a wonderful job responding to every little request we had. It is incredible how much time she invested to make sure everything would turn out just the way we wanted it to be. In the end we had a small and intimate wedding at the best possible venue. Charmaine and her team did everything to fulfil all of our wishes and they made our event unforgettable. We owe her and her staff a very special thanks for all the organisation for our guests and we also thank Charmaine so much for the trust we could put into her in organising the wedding accommodation and celebration.

Great place

What a great weekend stay for Bastille Weekend. Lovely room, very comfortable bed and stunning underfloor heating for the cold evenings. On top of it, they are pet friendly, so we took our 9 week old fur baby along. He was welcomed like royalty and totally loved the huge gardens. Thank to all of you for having us.

We spent two glorious winter days for the wedding of a friend at Le Manoir de Brendel. She could not have chosen a more idyllic or romantic place to celebrate this very special occasion. The interior of the little chapel was dappled with sunlight as the sun kissed the mountains and surrounding vineyards. We spent time during the day, relaxing at the pool, sipping champagne and just enjoying the tranquil beauty of the place. The cosy fire in the lounge was an ideal place to gather before dinner. The wedding reception was absolute perfection and the food sublime. We partied into the night and staff and management could not do enough for us.

Excellent stay and service from Charmaine who goes out of her way to make you feel at home. Breakfast was also delicious and tasty with a brilliant view. Can really recommend and family friendly!

We got married here, it's a perfect wedding venue for an intimate wedding, and has it's own beautiful little chapel. We often go back to relive the best day of our life and have a glass of wine!

This well run wine farm with its guesthouse and wedding chapel the and friendly staff is a must. It is in so tranquil a setting that one feels that the world around you has comr to a standstill. Definitely a 5 star in my opinion.

Lovely place, even better service, would definitely recommend. I forgot my dresses, and the owner took the time and effort to send them back to the Netherlands, thank you so much. Furthermore, lovely rooms in characteristic style and lovely surroundings.
