A wonderful experience at the oldest wine farm in the region. The Deli restaurant is set in a beautiful area with a stunning outside seating secton underneath the trees. The food is delicious with a fresh selection from the daily menu. The service is impeccable and the staff are friendly and warm. The gardens around the restaurant are absolutely stunning. In summary, a memorable lunch outing.

This restaurant is truly amazing! Their food is so delicious, drinks are good and the vibe is awesome! The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The decor is also very unique and you feel right at home. You will surely see me again, and soon! 😄

What an experience, this is by far the most well kept wine estate and a proper hidden jewel. We made a booking in advance as it is quite a popular breakfast and lunch spot. Fresh food is an understatement as all ingredients are sourced from farm to table. The farmstall is delightful and reasonably priced. We bought some of their amazing sour dough that was served with breakfast and we will definitely be back in the near future. Come for the food and stay for the scenic walks through the garden.

The husband and I often stop at Boschendal on our way home for fresh produce from the deli. Every now and then we treat ourselves to a glass of Shiraz before heading home. Tonight we were persuaded by the lovely staff to stay for a bite. We shared the fantastic Boschendal pizza and the cesar salad. Both highly recommend! Just a note on the salad, I prefer the anchovies completely dissolved into the dressing, where this one also had whole anchovies in the salad as well.

They gave our table away for our 25 year anniversary even though we were staying at Boschendal. We had emailed repeatedly and told them on our arrival we would be late. The staff told them to. In their defence they offered a replacement meal but we couldn’t use it. For those interested we went to McDonald’s in Stellenbosch which was great.

We went there for pizza but there was none available. The rest of the menu is quite restricted. The wine was great though and the service wonderful.

Always great to be here again. It's the complete experience which makes Boschendal such a nice place. We had lunch on the patio of the Deli. Good Caesar salad, looks like an easy dish but gets messed up quite frequently. But not at Boschendal, of course! Good ingredients and a good chef, We'll be back soon!

Went there for a late lunch on 7 January 2023. It's a really adorable looking restaurant. We opted to sit inside because it was really hot weather. Unfortunately there was no aircon inside however there was a nice cool breeze. Our waitress was very friendly, informative and helpful. The special of the day was sirloin steak or fish. I opted for the sirlion steak (medium to well). My steak was well done which ended up being dry. The salad tasted sourish, perhaps it was the dressing, I'm not sure. The chips was ok. The rest of the table ordered tacos and the fish special. All around the food was edible. When the flies started surrounding the table our waitress brought a lit candle to keep the flies away. She also asked how the food was as she explained she needed to provide feedback.
